Our company DIPLOMAT DENTAL s.r.o. is a world-renowned producer of dental chairs, units and stools with more than 60 years of manufacturing history. For what projects/services did your company hire Touch4IT, and what were your goals?

We have addressed Touch4IT specialists with a request to develop innovative software for a dental unit control. The application was meant to replace the original control panel and offer new and innovative functions, unifying the controls for doctors and thus making their everyday work easier.

When we entered the phase of selecting the right company to develop the application for dental unit and dental chair control, we got a recommendation from a company to contact Touch4IT. We have contacted them and already after the first talks we knew that found the right partner.

During the first meetings with Touch4IT we described our vision and ideas and showed them the original control panel, that was to be replaced with the new software solution. Gradually we have entered the UX/UI design phase, in which we have collaborated with the third part on the overall concept of the app.

After the design phase we entered the development phase - the development of a native application for dental unit control. Touch4IT developers have programmed a library that controls the overall communication between the dental unit and the application.

Apart from that, the application also communicates with the admin interface and is synchronized with internal information system (ERP). We are currently still working on new features and upgrades. Touch4IT has also created a separate native mobile app for us that has improved the functioning of the overall software solution. Through this app service technicians are able to get quick feedback or report any kind of malfunction on dental chairs or units and send the complaint directly to us.

The cooperation from our side was our CEO, product owner and R&D team and from the side of Touch4IT - one of their CEOs, project manager, developer team and design team. Although there were a lot of people involved, the communication was always great and there were no misunderstandings at all.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The controlling application that we are developing with Touch4IT is the key element of our dental chairs. It's a fantastic innovation, that brings a lot of useful advantages for the dentists and makes their work easier and more efficient. Therefore, this is a huge step forward. The product won several awards, including Red Dot award and IF award.

Our project was - and still is - managed on a highly professional level. Every decision was preceded by face to face meetings between our team and the Touch4IT team, so that we would agree on everything and consequently they would set the plan for all tasks.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We saw from the beginning of our cooperation that Touch4IT is a very well-organized team of skilled and ambitious people, who know what they are doing. Anything that comes from their side is always planned in detail and managed well. They are always ready to help and give useful advice. Due to this, the whole project is moving further and currently the application does not have an equal competitor on the market.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No that i can think of.

We hired Touch4IT for web and mobile development for our go2gym project. Our goal is to launch our project to the whole world and make it world famous as it is a very useful tool for people who want to live a healthy life.

I found them through my ex classmate from grammar school and for that time they were the only IT company who were providing mobile development for IOS and Android and I also liked their customer support and their high level approach.

There were so many people, who worked with me, designers, project managers, developers and I also worked with the CEO's of the company.

As the project is still in the phase of development it would be early to talk about the outcomes of the project.

The project management was great, they met deadlines and never had unexpected turn overs.

Whenever I had any issue to solve, so they were available and solved it without any problems.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The quality of work was great, even they met deadlines, sometimes happened that something was done later or took more hours as we expected, but when you are developing a social network so it is understandable that it can happen.

Established in 2015, the Slovak company Ecocapsule® designs and produces the self-sustainable, mobile microhome of the same name. Equipped with solar panels and a wind turbine for harvesting energy, it can also harvest rain water, as well as filter water from natural sources. This makes Ecocapsule® a truly off-grid home, allowing people to live far from civilization, practically anywhere. Ecocapsule® is a multipurpose unit, which can be used as a house, caravan, houseboat, hotel, research station etc. I work as the Co-CEO of the Ecocapsule company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Touch4IT?

We have hired Touch4IT to create an app in augmented reality for us. We needed a tool for our potential clients, so that they could experience our product - Ecocapsule, its dimensions, design, placement in real environment from the outside, as well as inside. This was to be an important marketing and sales tool for us.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to offer our potential clients to have a first-hand virtual experience with our product, so that the would be more likely to step to the next level of the sales process.

A year prior to the start of the project, we have been contacted by Touch4IT with an offer of a cooperation and presentation of their services. We were intrigued. We have been in touch ever since and after seeing and experiencing several of their projects, we chose them.

Touch4IT have basically walked us through the whole process. From planning, through designing, to development. We had several meetings where we discussed our expectations and how they could be fulfilled. We were presented with the technology available which has helped us in the decision-making process. After that we have been active as a partner during the whole design phase. After development, we were given a functional prototypes for testing. During the whole process, the Touch4IT team was extremely helpful and insightful. The result is a great, functional app.

What was the team composition?

From our side, it was our CEO and our Creative Communication Director, from the side of Touch4IT is was one Project Manager, one Designer, but also one of their Executive Directors, who has had a great impact on the overall process.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The impact of the Ecocapsule AR App is great. We are offering it to our clients worldwide, so that they can get a better picture and experience about our product. We always use the app wherever we go – fairs, exhibitions, etc. Also, the app was used on numerous occasions by the Ambassadors of Slovakia all over the world, when presenting the best products and companies from Slovakia.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project was managed extremely efficiently. We were updated about everything important which has allowed us to take part on the process. No unnecessary meetings, just relevant information, always on time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

There were several things that we liked. One – it’s a one-stop shop, so you don’t have to deal with several companies on one project. Two – they have a great team of professionals. Whether it’s in management, design, or development areas—their products speak for themselves.  And three – the communication was always very pleasant, informal but always kind.

  In the beginning, we had several rounds of consultations with Touch4IT, where we presented all our goals and requirements, and together we defined the product functionalities. Subsequently, Touch4IT created a complete product development roadmap, detailed specifications, system architecture design, selected the technology, and informed us perfectly about everything, presenting it to us. Then they proceeded with the design, communicating every progress with us, and we provided some feedback until they created the final version of the marketplace, with which we were very satisfied. After the design, they moved on to the actual development until we received a product that met all our requirements down to the last detail.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

  For us, the main outcome is that we managed to turn our vision into a real digital product - a platform that brings together local florists and is gradually expanding across Slovakia. Our goal is to launch it, get it up and running, and ensure that this platform works effectively, allowing sellers to expand their services into the digital world.

  We are not aware of anything that we find unsatisfactory or would recommend improving. We continue to work with Touch4IT on enhancing the platform, they provide system maintenance for us, and the collaboration continues to be great.
