What challenge were you trying to address with Tirnav Solutions?
We needed someone to develop a program to restock our FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) warehouse.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Tirnav Solutions has developed the UI and backend of our custom software tool, creating an API with Amazon so that the client can see what theyโre sending, how consistent it is, what they need to add, and what they have. Weโve been testing the solution for the last couple of months; weโre in the beta-testing phase. As for the technology stack, weโve used JavaScript, HTML, Spring Boot, React.js, and Amazon EC2 as the server.
What is the team composition?
I work with four people from Tirnav Solutions, plus a couple of others working behind the scenes. Jayesh (Business Strategist & Growth Hacking) is my main point of contact. Besides him, Tirnav Solutionsโ team includes a web developer and a UI developer in charge of the API integration.
How did you come to work with Tirnav Solutions?
I found them online while looking for a developer with experience in developing apps related to Amazon. When I saw their website, their background fit what I needed for my app.
How much have you invested with them?
Weโve spent around $16,000โ$17,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in January 2022, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?ย
Weโre still beta-testing the app, and although there are still some glitches we need to fix, the product is working as expected at this stage.
How did Tirnav Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?
Tirnav Solutions is very good at communicating. Theyโre very quick and responsive, and they have a great system for addressing issues and change requests. Weโve put together a spreadsheet to clearly define where weโre at in the process, what needs to be done, and what comes next.
Tirnav Solutionsโ great workflow has allowed us to move through the process seamlessly, especially because I had no background in app development. Theyโve also been very flexible to work with. Throughout the process, weโve realized that there are other things we need to work on, and theyโve been very flexible about those changes.
We use Skype to communicate, whether it is for chats, audio calls, or video calls. We also leverage it to share screens. Additionally, weโve used email sometimes.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Tirnav Solutionsโ communication and flexibility are outstanding. Initially, I only had a concept. Still, theyโve worked with me to translate that concept into a very good product. Weโve made a couple of great direction changes along the way, and theyโve been very accommodating to those changes.

No, Iโm very pleased with the service they provide me.

We needed help with web development and EDI (electronic data interchange) implementation.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Tirnav Solutions built our website from scratch and set up 50 private servers for our company. This structure was meant to enable us to integrate partners, third-party vendors, and retailers into our system and eventually receive any transmission from them. They also mapped the EDI A56 documentation for our three different trading partners. Our trading partners usually have their own documentation, but what they have is not enough to complete the integration process.
What is the team composition?
I mainly work with Jayesh (Business Strategist & Growth Hacking).
How did you come to work with Tirnav Solutions?
We were looking for developers on Google, and it was our chief from China who found them. We had tried several other developers, but Tirnav Solutions was the only one willing to adjust their work hours to accommodate our time zone differences.
How much have you invested with them?
What we pay depends on what is accomplished in a month, and so far, weโve invested around $22,000 for just one project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Tirnav Solutions around MayโJune 2017. We still have several ongoing projects with them.ย

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
From a business standpoint, weโre able to divide the work 50-50 between ourselves and Tirnav Solutions. Theyโve been very helpful, especially since theyโve adjusted to our time zone to work with our team. Their flexibility and the way they listen to what we need have been key points in our partnership.
How did Tirnav Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?
Everything has been done on time even when deadlines are tight. For one particular project, Tirnav Solutions worked until the very last minute to make sure we could deliver. This is important because some of our trading partners donโt give time allowances or extensions.
We usually communicate through Skype.
What did you find most impressive about them?
What distinguishes Tirnav Solutions from other providers is their flexibility. The quality of their work shows that they really put themselves into the work; they not only try to understand our needs but also do whatever it takes to deliver.ย

Itโs pretty much an ethnic market, ethnic stores, grocery stores, and restaurants, so we are targeting the niche stores that can sell ethnic food on our platform.ย

Due to COVID-19 lockdown, people were disbursed. The owner couldnโt reach out to his developers. Had he had a good infrastructure, we could have continued the project.

I suggest getting more developers from them. Theyโre really good technically and are getting more business.ย

We used JIRA for project management, and had visibility of the works and progress at every stage. We also schedule daily calls via Skype to clarity questions. Although we were in different timezones, they strived to meet client requirements in a timely manner by responding to issues with fixes available at UK timeframe.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They are very dedicated and work to meet the challenges via innovative approaches and deliver on the promises. The management of the company took every possible opportunity to manage their workforce to meet the deadline. Where the development over-run the original cost estimate they find a middle way to meet the cost, which is quite different from other vendors we worked with before.

From our brief interaction of the projects we were working on, there are some areas for improvement in Salesforce application development which involves complex scenarios and customisation.
