I’m the founder of Indexfing, a food technology company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Tirnav Solutions?

We needed a company to build our web interfaces and mobile app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Tirnav Solutions developed our web interfaces and mobile app. They used Java for both web and mobile, and the web development was full-stack. It’s an e-commerce portal where people can search and checkout. 

It’s pretty much an ethnic market, ethnic stores, grocery stores, and restaurants, so we are targeting the niche stores that can sell ethnic food on our platform. 

What is the team composition?

There were 3-4 people working on the project.

How did you come to work with Tirnav Solutions?

They applied to my online job post. The founder is smart and highly technical. He was able to offer the solutions we needed and was involved in the day-to-day activities. He knew what he was talking about.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from November 2019-June 2020. This project ended due to lockdown, but they still provide consulting as needed

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They couldn’t complete the project because of lockdown. They did complete whatever tasks we presented to them. We’re happy with what Tirnav Solutions produced so far.

How did Tirnav Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

We use project management software, email, WhatsApp, Skype, and Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have good communication and solutions.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Due to COVID-19 lockdown, people were disbursed. The owner couldn’t reach out to his developers. Had he had a good infrastructure, we could have continued the project.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I suggest getting more developers from them. They’re really good technically and are getting more business.

Groundwork is social and environmental regeneration charity and I lead the geospatial and data services team which leads on application and data management system development for effective delivery of our projects across United Kingdom

We needed expertise in iOS app development along with Salesforce CRM as backend system to manage the users and databases. Tirnav Solutions, having shown expertise in both domains was a natural partner to deliver the work for us, which was selected after considering a number of developers based in India and abroad

What were your goals for this project?

To develop an iOS app with customised user interface which is integrated with Salesforce CRM to collect data from customers during a home visit (Green Doctors). The app uses offline capabilities and also allows users to see their savings in annual bills through their behavioural changes/

How did you select this vendor?

We carried out auditing of vendors who have the capabilties in both iOS and SF development and from shortlisted vendors we asked for a Proof of Concept development. Tirnav scored in this top marks within our budget

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was developed in stages with testing and client feedback at every stage, through an agile /iterative approach.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We used JIRA for project management, and had visibility of the works and progress at every stage. We also schedule daily calls via Skype to clarity questions. Although we were in different timezones, they strived to meet client requirements in a timely manner by responding to issues with fixes available at UK timeframe.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are very dedicated and work to meet the challenges via innovative approaches and deliver on the promises. The management of the company took every possible opportunity to manage their workforce to meet the deadline. Where the development over-run the original cost estimate they find a middle way to meet the cost, which is quite different from other vendors we worked with before.

Are there any areas for improvement?

From our brief interaction of the projects we were working on, there are some areas for improvement in Salesforce application development which involves complex scenarios and customisation.
