We hired Thrive to handle our social media ads, PPC, SEO, and creatives, spending $8,000 of our hard-earned money. What did they deliver? Absolutely nothing. They failed to create any new ads, botched our Google Ads campaign, and completely ignored the scope of work we agreed upon.
Not only did they ruin a perfectly functional Google Ads setup, but they also set our daily spend to an outrageous level we NEVER approved. As a result, our cost per conversion skyrocketed from $35 per day to an unbelievable $950 per day! This disaster unfolded during the busiest, most critical time of the year—Black Friday and Cyber Monday—and they still had the audacity to ignore our urgent requests to fix their mess. TEN DAYS went by before tour account manager Diondra responded, and even then, they refused to revert their catastrophic changes.
No new social ads were created, and let’s not even talk about the “creatives” we paid for—because none of them were delivered. Not even a single concept! It’s absurd to find out that Thrive apparently has ONE person trying to handle all this work. Seriously? One person for all social media responsibilities? How is that remotely professional or acceptable?
The moment they got paid, it feels like they all went on vacation with our money, leaving us with a broken ad strategy and lost opportunities on black Friday and cyber monday. Thrive’s negligence, incompetence, and lack of accountability are beyond infuriating. This was a complete betrayal of trust, a complete waste of money and a scam

An absolute nightmare. Thrive completely ruined our existing Google Ads campaigns, failed to submit the creatives we paid for, and didn’t even bother to create any social media ads. The moment they got paid, they vanished without a trace.
The only thing we received was an Excel sheet from the SEO guy in November—and honestly, he’s the only one who actually delivered anything. The rest of the team disappeared, leaving us with nothing but wasted time, money, and frustration.

We contracted with Thrive originally as a "full package" marketing project but after about 1 year Covid forced us to reduce our scope of work mostly to Facebook Ad campaigns. We did however invest in upgrading our website because it just was outdated for appeal to the type of clients we were trying to attract. We are very pleased with the redesign of the website and we have a noticeable increase in the number of leads generated.

I’m the operations lead at a custom software development company. We develop mobile apps and websites for other businesses and entrepreneurs. I manage our marketing and client accounts.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, there was a lull in the number of investors in software development. When things started to pick back up again, we wanted to make sure we were reaching the right customers. Our leads were all over the gamut, and we needed help optimizing our website, SEO, and content to ensure we were reaching an audience that was a good fit for our company.

What was the scope of their involvement?
We first discussed the problems we faced with a Thrive Internet Marketing Agency sales representative. We filled out an intake form describing our existing client base and our desired future client base. They researched and came back to us to discuss targeted keywords for different projects and development languages.
Then, they connected us with an account manager. We gave them access to our website and analytics. From there, they began cleaning our indexing, publishing content, and optimizing SEO. They’ve helped us optimize our landing pages and are now working on the navigation menu. They continue to chip away at optimizing the content on our different pages.

What’s most important to us is that the quality of our leads has been so much better since we started working with Thrive Internet Marketing Agency. We used to sift through a ton of spam of contacts who weren’t ready to hire a custom software development shop; now, we’re getting leads that are much more likely to convert.
Our organic site traffic has increased significantly; we’re also getting more clicks and impressions. Our keyword rankings are also improving. There was a big jump in rankings at the start of the project, and now we move up 4–5 positions each month. The cost per conversion (CPC) is about half of what we paid for prior ads we’ve run. Within the first month of receiving Thrive Internet Marketing Agency’s PPC support, our ads have an 8% click-through rate, which is really good.
How did the company perform from a project management standpoint?
Our account manager has been incredible. Marizanne is really communicative and available. She’s good at communicating timeframes. For example, if we’re expecting certain flags to come out, she’ll let us know if they’re going to take longer or if they’re ready sooner. She’s also been transparent and helpful in explaining some of the reasoning behind their SEO and PPC strategies.
We mostly communicate through email and have bimonthly check-ins via Zoom. There’s also a dashboard where we can see most of the analytics. The budget has been great; that’s been a non-issue.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They really care about the quality of the work that they’re putting out; they want it to have a long-term impact on SEO and the client’s business. Some agencies will just put up blogs with a bunch of keywords, but Thrive Internet Marketing Agency has focused on the structure and indexing of the pages. This has created a lasting impact on our site that I know will remain, even if we part ways at some point in the future. They’ve done a really great job.
