I'm running an ecommerce company that manufactures and sells cosmetic products.
For what projects/services did your company hire SpurIT, and what were your goals?
The direction acted to a migration, from one ecommerce platform supplier to another one to support our growth strategy. This migration has been made possible thanks to SPUR IT, who ran a complete audit before and assisted us along the way on all the issues we faced.
They also handled all the requested development in order to ensure a seamless transition. This was a complete success. All the deadlines were respected and the migration worked as expected. None of our customers experienced any issues.
How did you select SpurIT and what were the deciding factors?
We had many talks with several companies and decided to go with SPUR IT. They understood our situation, answered all of our questions and concerns and offered us different options to achieve the migration.

We did a RFP. SPUR IT was among the companies that answered. We had an inaugural meeting, explaining our global situation and the result we wanted to achieve within the time frame. Then we had a second meeting, when they showed us similar assistance they did for other projects. They also got into a detailed action plan and the overall budget.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with a project manager and solution architect. Of course many developers were involved but we were in a constant discussion with our project manager.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
I can't share as much data as they are confidential, but since our migration, the overall speedness of our website has doubled, and traffic retention has been increased by 23%.Our users also spend more time on our website, 17% more in average.This is just the beginning as we expect those number to increase in the following months.

We had weekly meeting about the on-going process.We used slack for daily questions, google meet for weekly meetings, JIRA for tickets.

I run an e-commerce business that sells digital planners and planner accessories for consumers. It's an eco-friendly way to use physical planners, which have the look and feel of physical planners.

Describe the project in detail.
As far as the project, I really had no idea how to get my website to look more professional and trustworthy. So after I hired them for the job, I laid out all the things that I wanted my consumers to feel when they saw my website.
They took that information and implemented it into their designs. The result of that was a very illustrative and cohesive website.
What was the team composition?
Team communication was very good. I had two people from the team communicate with me via WhatsApp to get the project done how I wanted. They shared with me the steps and the gradual process. They were very friendly and prompt with their responses.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I would say the project was very successful because immediately after the implementation of the new website look, I got a lot of great feedback from consumers that the website looked great. I also made a sale immediately after the launch of the new web layout.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
They made communication very easy. They were always very friendly and prompt with their responses. If I ever had any questions or suggestions, they took them into consideration, which I liked. I also liked how they showed a lot of care in the details and making sure my website looked better than my competitions.

What I found most impressive was how skilled they are in coding and illustrating when it comes to making a website look top notch. Our relaunch timing unfortunately aligned with the beginning of the pandemic, so measuring and comparing strict metrics is difficult. However, our multiple-product purchase rate (with the SpurIT custom popup builds) has gone up around 75% with the products we were attempting to push!

We have been using the spurIT pre order app to allow for products to continue to be sold after sell out, up to certain order limits (eg, over sold).
We were finding that the app would sometimes have caching issues where the users would not see the app, but would instead see "sold out' or some other incorrect message such as ""buy now". We needed the page to force refresh to ensure users were seeing the most up to date status.

SpurIT developed the original app, but we also looked at other partners that we currently work with to see if there were any better solutions. SpurIT had the most experience as well as offered a fair price for the service.

It also enabled our team to be much more agile in terms of UX changes and design tryouts.
