We had regular communication with Project Manager & Designer during the project. We used Asana for tasks tracking. Communication itself was an area that could have been carried out better. However, we worked throughout the project to make our teams work better with each other and at the end of the project there was improvement.

Sintra has built and customized a number of site enhancements across our domestic site and has most recently supporting a custom multilanguage international store we plan to launch next month.

Sintra's willingness to accommodate our workflow has been incredibly helpful. Despite most team members using Asana, they transitioned to Vegamour's PM platform (Monday) to ensure we were able to have our requests on the same platform. I have also appreciated the team's positive attitude towards all tasks, even the tedious ones.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

While the team is great I would love more time spent on QA prior to it being passed on to our team to avoid as much back and forth.

We migrated the store to Shopify Advanced, thanks to which we increased the efficiency of our store, which will increase sales and affect the further development of our company.

After first steps the work flow was very well and we now have a good team and availability on both sides so the progress is on-going every day. With tools like Jira and Confluence and a constant communication via Teams or Skype the Project is having a fluent process.

We have many individual needs in our projects. Even if many seem impossible at first, together, we always find a way to implement our ideas.

There is always a way to improve. Sintra and our company both grew with all of our projects together.

Our webpage was based on WordPress it was outdated and unserviced with low sales performance and weak security. We decided to look for a Shopify developer to create a well functioning ecommerce platform that will be easy to navigate by professional massage therapists and businesses alike. The new Polish Balsamique ecommerce had to be sleek with fast navigation options while being visually appealing and in-line with the brand philosophy.

We have interviewed several companies, we chose Sintra for one of the projects and an alternative supplier for our second brand. Main point of Sintra was their knowledge of the Shopify platform and very well structured approach which ultimately saved time and costs.

The project consisted several stages: defining the needs, creating the graphic design, implementing the store on the Shopify platform. After completing these tasks, we continue to cooperate with SINTRA in content-marketing and store promotion among our selected customer group.

The store was moved to a new, more efficient platform, which allows better brand development and more efficient marketing activities. We have seen significant and positive impact of the project with growing customer acquisition and store performance.

Excellent oversight from PM, very well structured approach with set deliverables and right experts in right positions. We have worked based on a store brief for the design phase with quick turn around which helped us focus very quickly on technical aspects and proper setup of marketing activities and positioning.

We opted for gradual transition from old store to new keeping both open, which allowed customers to transition at their pace, this proved to be an excellent approach. We used online meetings and emails for the development phase and now use our company SLACK for marketing work.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were knowledgeable and upfront about what they could or could not do. We had negative experiences in the past with companies promising services they could not deliver. On the design side SINTRA's approach is based primarily on functionality while being open to customer visual design requirements.

Designers tend to feel very emotional about their projects which creates at times a point of attrition between client and designer, with SINTRA we felt very comfortable with the approach and clear communication.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We suggest to switch to a more structured communication tool for the development part as well. Especially when running more than 1 project simultaneously.

The workflow was very effective, and the timezone difference did not prevent the teams from communicating. We were able to communicate via Slack, email, and conference calls. Every morning I had something new to look at to provide feedback.

Sintra Consulting Poland did an excellent job understanding that internal stakeholders needed to be empowered to use our Shopify store. They understood our business's needs and created a theme that was easy to understand by my non-technical colleagues. 

The static page content is easy to update within the custom theme and does not need a developer to implement.

For the second one, we wanted to implement a variety of new features in our WordPress Setup and build a design-driven Online-Shop with a clear focus on UX whilst showcasing our high-end products.

After having good experiences with Sintra in a different project we were more than happy to include them in our pitch. The decision to go ahead with Sintra was based on their flexible and customer-orientated approach and good communication throughout our first project and because of their expertise in Magento development, UX, Knowhow, and flexibility when it comes to individual solutions.

For the first project, we required a migration from Magento 1 to Magento 2. We wanted to increase the amount of content and introduce more functionalities which M1 did not offer. We wanted our content to be easy to be modified and manageable, therefore Sintra suggested a combination of M2 and WordPress.

For the second project, our website required a rework of the whole page. We wanted to implement new functionalities, like customer-specific configurations, and additionally increase the amount of content. Also, there was a need to have all the domains connected in order to be able to modify the content more easily and integrate it simultaneously on all domains.
