I’m the director of ReQlaim Technologies Private Limited, a business services company in the consumer space.

What challenge were you trying to address with Silverscoop?

We needed help creating our brand identity and high-quality UI/UX designs. Our customers needed assurance with our brand name and identity.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Silverscoop came up with a logo, brand name, and other materials, including our typography, colors, and brand identity. This gave us reassurance that we’re in the right hands, so we went ahead with having them design the UI/UX for our mobile app.

They created the wireframes after 3–4 rounds of detailed discussions, resulting in 7–8 total versions. Moving on, they defined the customer journey.

What is the team composition?

I had a point of contact with one of the founders, but I don’t know how many were on the team in total.

How did you come to work with Silverscoop?

I shortlisted three companies, including Silverscoop, from Clutch.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from February–April 2021. I still work with them on other aspects of our business.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We still have to go to market, but Silverscoop did a wonderful job and was very diligent — I’m satisfied. We’re still working on the technology of the app, but the aesthetics are very good.

How did Silverscoop perform from a project management standpoint?

We brainstormed on a Zoom call.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Silverscoop had a good understanding of what we were doing. We didn’t have to reiterate information. They came up with some good suggestions as well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could lower their costs.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a detailed scope defined before you start a budget. Once the scope is finalized, every change is going to cost. Silverscoop is very good, but in bits and pieces, they can become expensive. You can negotiate better if you have everything defined ahead of time.

What challenge were you trying to address with Silverscoop?

We’re coming up with a new product offering that will help content teams manage the bulk of their content better. Silverscoop helped us with the UX/UI design.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had a prototype ready. Silverscoop took us through a two-day design workshop, which helped us align our goals and figure out how we wanted to approach some of our critical processes, keeping the user journeys in mind.

The team did the entire UX/UI design, putting a lot of thought behind the critical junctures, in terms of how users might drop off and how we could keep them on. They looked at the current pain points prototype users were facing, and they used that to make user journeys better.

They also helped us with HTML and JavaScript translation.

What is the team composition?

Two people were involved in the workshop, two others handled design, and one took care of the HTML process. There was one common person between those, so in total, we worked with four people.

How did you come to work with Silverscoop?

A long time back, I’d done a small project with Jai (Co-Founder). He met with us a few months ago to discuss the company he was starting. We floated the requirement to multiple UX/UI agencies, and Silverscoop was one of them.

Jai worked in the marketing space, and he had the best understanding of our project. He was also competitive in his pricing, which didn’t hurt.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested roughly 700,000 Indian rupees (approximately $9,500 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Silverscoop in December 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We hope to continue working with Silverscoop. The app is still in development, so we’re yet to see feedback from paying clients. We’re quite happy with how the designs have come out.

The final output is very different from what we got in the prototyping stage. The design looks modern, and it is aligned with other products in the marketing space. We had a few problems in the HTML phase, but Silverscoop quickly stepped in and corrected them for us.

We’ve given them another project to build one of the landing pages.

How did Silverscoop perform from a project management standpoint?

The experience has been very good. Silverscoop helped us at every step of the way, from thinking to execution. They’ve been very responsive. Communication hasn’t been a problem, other than a few stray incidents.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They identified best practices to bring into our designs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We faced a few problems, but Silverscoop was quick to step in and correct them. That’s all we could ask from a partner.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Silverscoop might not be the right agency for clients that like to micromanage. They have experience in industry best practices from around the world, and I think that they should be allowed to bring that to the table.

They’re a creative bunch of people who like to solve real-world problems. As a client, it’s great to have a vision for my product, but if I’m going to dictate every step along the way, I might as well do it myself.

This is a very boring product with complex information. It required a design and user experience that made it look very simple, inviting, easy to understand.

1. Their depth of understanding of what we needed. This came from their experience delivering on several similar projects in the past.
2. The business acumen, thinking the startup way.

We were an organization that was not formed as a legal entity - yet Jai trusted us and offered to put his skin in the game, which is extremely rare in this world.

Jai is a joy to work with. It's very rare to find a product/UX professional with so much depth and immense business acumen. Being a business/outcome focussed professional, you get way more in delivery than your initial specs.

Very responsive. Extremely professional - delivers right, delivers on time. Would really like to work with him again for our future projects.

Through reference and based on their previous work. Also conducted some discussion sessions and asked them to create some designs which they did and we liked them, hence they came onboard.

Wanted to build Chemical community website and application in b2b segment with stellar design and user interface. There were lot of other features involved in it which made the entire project very challenging and also difficult to give users the same user experience on all the features.

CEO, CTO Marketing Head, 2 Product Heads, User Interface and User Experience Designer, Sales Head were the main management team and others from various dept, consisted a team of 20+ members

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

On launch, we could see an increase in traffic by 37% and customers also liked the design and overall content of the website. Another win was our subscription also increased and within 3 months more than 500 customers were onboarded.

Silverscoop was involved at every step in the entire project and also their CEO used to be actively involved in all phases of the project. They always came with new designs which were innovative ans also user friendly.

Options of Design, user friendly designs and the User Interface was also very good.

Marketsmojo is a financial website and mobile application that operates in the fintech space, it is a multi-algorithm-based financial investment analysis platform which offers full coverage every listed stock and is unbiased.At Marketsmojo.com I was part of the core, founding start-up team that conceptualised and built a radical approach to stock market investing. I was also the Chief Product Officer of marketsmojo.com.

We hired Silverscoop to architect the user experience on both desktop and the mobile application with a card-based approach to cut the clutter of the vast stock market data and present relevant and simplified information to the investor.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to build a seamless and clutter free experience for users to sift the vast financial data. We also want to bring about a radical approach by presenting only relevant data in bite size cards. as opposed to listing pages

How did you select this vendor?

We have a strict selection policy of interviewing vendors who we have worked with in the past and finding if their design sensibilities aligned to our product goals. We wanted a team that clearly understood user nagivation and behaviour as opposed just a design partner. We zeroed in on this vendor based on the design mockups they presented after our brief.

Once the vendor was selected we had a series of meetings brainstorming on the approach we wanted to take. Once several mockups we decided the design and then a brief was given based on the unique designs to be created. After every page/design was submitted there was a ideation and iteration process if required. The style guide was provide once the designs were fully handed over

They created a website for us. That involved them mapping past successful projects that were built and executed. There was a feedback option that is open for customers to use. All of the basic coordination for the features was handled on their end. They were also responsible for the design elements of the solution.

We had one main point of contact who was fronting the vast majority of the job for us.

We had plenty of vendor options within the real estate industry. But, because we were trying to move into more of a consulting role, those who were serving us in the past couldn’t understand everything we wanted to offer. So, we started our discussion with their team. They were very openminded about our model, showing confidence in their ability to create a solution that matched our needs.

The collaboration took place in 2018. It lasted for about three months.

Our internal team was very satisfied with the work. We haven’t needed to track any hard metrics for their work.
