I'm the CEO of HAL Company based in Argentina and delivering services across Latinamerica and Europe. Our core business is HubSpot products implementation, trainings and consulting.

For what projects/services did your company hire SHIFTA, and what were your goals?

We implement HubSpot for different companies and most of them have challenges sharing data across different platforms and software. The key pain today is the integration of e-commerce and CRM. We hired Shifta to develop a custom integration with the most popular e-commerce platform in Latinamerica, TiendaNube and Hubspot to deliver an all-in-one solution for small and medium businesses.

Among other options Shifta provided us with a deep understanding of our business needs and the proposal was clear, concise and flexible. Their consulting service is beyond the standard. All their staff including PMs, developers and sales people do an extra-mile to get the most, sharing best practices and advises.

Develop a custom integration between TiendaNube and HubSpot. The project started with a deep mapping of both platforms, understanding of existing APIs, use cases and UX. Key deliverables are integration of contact, company and opportunities and the update of each timeline, depending on the customer's behavior.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

SHIFTA has a great company culture. All employees are positive, solution and result oriented, any challenge is welcome to think a work-around always. It's great to deal with this type of customer in complex projects where both parties has to achieve short duedates.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

N/A. Everything they delivered was professional, high-quality service and product. I wish I could learn part of their agile culture.

• PROJECT SCOPE:
  • Replace the monolithic legacy pre-sales, sales, and after-sales system with a centralized digital product accessible online from any device at all branches.
  • Decrease user learning curve.
  • Implement a B2C system where customers can purchase memberships online immediately.
  • Expand payment methods both in-person and virtually.
• DELIVERABLES:
  • MegaCore Pre-sales Module for prospect creation and management, including assigning prospects to salespeople, recording contacts to maintain a comprehensive 360° member view, implementing an alert system for notifying new assignments, expired prospects, and completed payments.
  • MegaCore Sales Module to record sales, apply promotions and discount coupons, covering various payment methods (cash, check, offline and online electronic payments via payment links for asynchronous-virtual payment by members).

  • Scalable data model for analysis of pre-sales data and branch access.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Time to onboard a new Member/Prospect: up to 3 times faster.
• Time to onboard new salespeople: 6 times faster.
• Time to implement a change across all branches: 2 times faster.
• Platform access: from any device, whereas previously it was only accessible from the internal network via desktop computers.
• Data replication time: immediate, whereas previously it was a continuously running process.
• Reuse of Core functionalities: unified payment link across the entire platform.

Following a Discovery process initially led by SHIFTA, we developed a product roadmap aligned with business objectives. 

SHIFTA employs agile methodologies using a dual-track approach to identify needs and test solutions before beginning development, and organizes its workspaces into two-week Sprints, preceded by refinement and prioritization meetings for user stories to be developed.

At the end of each Sprint, SHIFTA holds a review meeting where they provide a live demo of the developments worked on during the Sprint. These developments are implemented in test environments so our QA team can validate proper functionality and plan the delivery to production.
