Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

Distintos estudios muestran que el consumo diario de vegetales disminuye el riesgo de padecer distintos tipos de enfermedades.
Esta solución fue pensada para ayudar a comer mejor, a volver a conectar con lo primigenio y a potenciar la creatividad en la cocina.

Toda esta información y tips fueron desarrollados junto a Narda Lepes, una famosa cocinera de Argentina.
La metodología utilizada para la construcción de la solución fue ejecutando una actividad de discovery y luego sprints de diseño y construcción sobre agile scrum, obteniendo incrementos parciales del producto y realizando testeo con usuarios.
En paralelo, se entrenó el modelo de clasificación de Machine Learning para el reconocimiento distintos tipos de vegetales a través de fotografías.

Trading Assistant
Eagle Eye is a New York based company specializing in Wealth Management
Its daily operation required condensing the data scattered on different platforms from which the risk of exposure had to be calculated and proposing different scenarios according to the strategy to finally decide and operate, which meant a dependency on the manager, who had to carry out all the analysis in a traditional way.
To solve this, we came with a solution that:
- - Integrates with Black Diamod and Yahoo Finance APIs
- - Create a dashboard that allows the visualization of the market, client portfolio, risk exposure calculations, association of assets to different strategies
- - Simulate scenarios with options, always considering the maximum measures for data security.
This solution made it possible to streamline daily operations in a context where speed is key and freed the manager from the cognitive overload that was implied by having to carry out all the calculations and analyzes without a base platform.

University Campus Mobile App
The Technological Institute of Buenos Aires (ITBA) is a university with a focus on technology, engineering and management. It currently has 3 locations and thousands of students who use the application developed for managing their student life on a daily basis. This application allows: - Manage career advancement - See subjects and course schedules - Record of exams, dates and notes. - Information that makes university life easier for the student. Update: On the occasion of the inauguration of a new headquarters building, we have developed an interactive augmented reality functionality, in which, through different markers arranged in the building, students can find their way around and interact in an innovative and fun way.

Reporting of Corporate Expenses - Mobile App
Mastellone, a leading dairy company, has more than 200 commercial agents and corporate credit card users.
Before, they had to record their consumption on a platform and then physically bring the paper receipts to the administrative area, with the following pain points:
- - Geographically dispersed agents to send tickets.
- - Manual upload - prone to error information
- - Need for space to file tickets that erase over time.

After a design sprint, we build a solution that:

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder and CEO of Qurable.
What challenge were you trying to address witH SHIFTA?
As a small startup, we needed to strengthen our development capabilities. We decided to focus on frontend development while outsourcing the backend. SHIFTA helped us with that.
What was the scope of their involvement?
SHIFTA helped us develop web modules integrated with our technologies. They used React and Bionic frameworks, focusing only on the frontend and connecting it to our backend using APIs.
What is the team composition?
We worked with 3–5 developers. One of them was a UX expert, and one was a product manager that served as our main point of contact. The manager worked directly with our CTO.
How did you come to work with SHIFTA?
SHIFTA was referred to us by another CTO. Apart from that, our co-founders were based in Argentina, where SHIFTA had a great reputation for working on agile development. Additionally, we selected them because they had a distributed team. This worked well for us because they were close to us but had the ability to work with our remote teams.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested between $30,000–$35,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The engagement lasted from May–September 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our user base grew steadily, reaching around 7,000 users per month. SHIFTA’s work quality was great. There were no delays in the project, and the team met all of our requests.
How did SHIFTA perform from a project management standpoint?
SHIFTA’s project management was great. If we had a similar project, we’d choose to work with them again. The sprints were delivered on time; the project’s setup took some time, but it was a complex process. Their resources adjusted to our pace of work, and after the first two weeks of engagement, everything moved forward smoothly. We used Git for sharing code and Discord and emails for communication.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We were impressed by their flexibility and technical skills.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could have helped us more with the onboarding process. The onboarding time took longer than expected, and both our teams could’ve done something to make that part more efficient.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I suggest you listen to their recommendations. For context, SHIFTA’s product manager played a key role in the engagement, and he made interesting proposals.

I was very effective. I would highlight the regular and clear communication and processes that helped streamline the workflow and minimize misunderstandings or delays. And finally, the Team dynamics: They were a positive and supportive team during the whole project.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
One of the things that impressed me was their diverse and inclusive team with a wide range of skills and expertise, also their innovative approach to software development. Another important thing for this project was the time zone. The entire team works in four different time zones without friction.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Probably the last mile of delivery, every demo day we have had setup problems, this improved in the last sprint. Probably all of us as a team in the next project should be more in sync.

I am the founder of a GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) startup. We have developed a delivery framework and applications to help customers address the complexity of implementing programs in the GRC space.

We hired SIFTA to develop the application, having a clear vision but no implementation capabilities. The application is simple in scope, but is implemented using graph databases, for which we could not find any developers with experience. Our goal was to generate o proof of concept that would demonstrate that the applications could support our delivery framework.

Our goal was to have implementation support with a partner that could understand the problem and then find a way to implement our vision without previous experience in the technology.

The proof of concept was a risk management web app that included simple governance and reporting functionalities. It was built in C#, .Net and a Neo4j Database. The app was deployed as a docker container.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We were able to finish on-time, with SHIFTA not only solving technical issues but also providing insights on the best way to implement what we needed.
Their implementation has worked flawlessly since then (7 months). We just started developing the MVP version of the App with SHIFTA, with the feedback gathered from customer implementations.

Very predictable development practices in terms of backlog management, source code management and the necessary formalities, all done while maintaining the focus on the project goals.

We started working with Shifta in 2021 when we launched the Exponential BA program, an open innovation process that aims to map and prototype disruptive ideas that apply new technologies to different GCBA challenges.
