    How did you select this vendor?

    we received numerous of offers and even lower offers but we had the opportunity to see one of the previous projects developed by Shaligram Infotech where we could see the integration with PowerBI running and also we spoke directly to the Developer Team Leader who quickly understood our requirements. That was key to select Shaligram Infotech as our Developer provider.

    They designed and developed the Multitenant Platform, which we use as our ADMIN platform for all the applications services we will be providing to our channels and customers. Shaligram Infotech also developed the Customer application Printer BI, which is the integration between customer information and power BI.

    On their End, Shaligram Infotech provided us the Developer TEAM Leader, The developer what was actually working most of the time in our project, the Project Manager who took care of our requirements and the Sales Manager who always was there to help us with any additional requirement. On Our side, there was the Business developer Manager and the Developer Lead.

    Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

    Yes, we started with an initial idea/scope which was completed by Shaligram. the impact was so good that we are already doing "big" modifications to cover not only Latin America Market but a global market.

    How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

    from the beginning, the SOW was clearly defined with all the task/milestones and dates for delivery. Project runs always smoothly. There were delays because some issues on our side. Also, there were some changes to the initial scope but everything was handled without any issue.

    Development is their passion. Customer satisfaction is very high.

    Communication is always an improvement because of the time zone difference which makes communication difficult.

    Each state in the US has varying legal processes for splitting couples. A law firm provided us with the legal framework and requirements. We used that to develop a prenuptial platform for a customer.

    Shaligram Infotech implemented the legal framework and requirements into the platform. They built the whole platform from scratch, including wireframes and most of the design process. The platform is based on AngularJS with a SQL database. It’s a highly advanced website.

    Shaligram Infotech assigned five people to our project, who worked independently. We had a team lead, and Akash (Senior Business Development Exec, Shaligram Infotech) was in charge of customer communication. They distributed the work.

    How did you come to work with Shaligram Infotech?

    They reached out to us after we posted our requirements on Guru.com. We reviewed 10 providers and decided that Shaligram Infotech was the best fit for our company, given their professionalism, reliability, knowledge, and previous work. We liked working with Shaligram Infotech because they are an established company in India.

    It cost around $20,000.

    What is the status of this engagement?

    We started working with Shaligram Infotech in April 2018 and finished in April 2019. The platform is under customer testing. Now, it’s up to them to bring it to production.

    What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

    We needed accountability for our customers when it comes to the source code that they delivered because it could lead to financial troubles as well as legal battles for us. Shaligram Infotech did a great job. We’re happy with them, and so is the client. We’d work with them again.

    How did Shaligram Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?

    They were excellent. Their project manager served as the single point of communication with the end customer. We mainly used a single stream of email communication for all of our work. We used Jira initially, but the customer wasn’t familiar with Kanban dashboards and updates, so I asked Shaligram Infotech to scrap it and stick to an Excel sheet for tracking. 

    What did you find most impressive about them?

    Reliability is the number-one factor, along with good communication. Then, it’s all about the quality and timeliness of the delivery. Shaligram Infotech represents our company, and people are happy with us because of our pricing model and the people we have working with the customers. They provided good communication, delivery, and project management.

    What challenge were you trying to address with Shaligram Infotech?

    I created an app for musicians, and I contracted with Shaligram Infotech to code it and develop it for me.

    What was the scope of their involvement?

    We released a skeletal version of what my app would eventually do. I wanted to get something to the market and receive feedback. The app, which is available on Android and iOS, is a tool for musicians to track their merchandise inventory and sales, organize tour information, set personal goals, and watch videos of multi-platinum record producers with advice for what to do and not do to succeed in the music industry. The app provides certain analytics about money earned from show venues and merchandise.

    What is the team composition?

    I worked with one project manager and one developer each for Android and iOS.

    How did you come to work with Shaligram Infotech?

    I posted the job on a freelance website and received 40 different quotes from around the world. I reviewed all the profiles and found Shaligram was reasonably priced. I saw their previous work and felt comfortable with them. We went over the details of my project, and they signed a non-disclosure agreement and copyright release form.

    I’ve spent about $8,000.

    What is the status of this engagement?

    We started working together in December 2017, and the skeletal version of the app was released in April 2018. We’re planning several updates based on the feedback I have received. I anticipate working with Shaligram for a few more years until the app is perfected.

    I’ve received positive feedback and plenty of opinions on how to make improvements, which is exactly what I wanted at this stage.

    How did Shaligram Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?

    We communicated through Skype twice a week between 5–8 a.m. my time to go over questions and progress. They’re about 12 hours ahead, but they were flexible and stayed late for those meetings if necessary. We worked with Trello a bit as well. I thought there would be a language barrier, but they communicated very well and understood everything I wanted.

    What did you find most impressive about them?

    This was my first time making an app. I was nervous and skeptical about working with a team across the world, but they made me feel comfortable right away. They reassured me throughout the process and helped get my app into the Google Play store and the App Store.

    Are there any areas they could improve?

    No, all around it was a positive experience.

    Any advice for potential customers?

    It’s natural for there to be small changes late in the process, but it’s best to still plan as much as possible before the project begins.
