BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m a freelance filmmaker, photographer, and producer.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire SEO Discovery?

As a sole trader in the media industry, I needed my website and services to stand out in a crowded market. I knew I wasn’t capable of boosting my SEO alone.

What were your goals for this project?

I wanted to find new clients and business as I added photography to my skills and services.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I did research and found SEO Discovery on various lists of trusted and affordable agencies. I approached others, but SEO Discovery was the only one that didn’t bombard me with emails. They simply asked to arrange a call at my convenience. Their team seemed to care about my needs and not just selling their services. SEO Discovery was completely transparent.

Describe the project in detail.

My website, which was created to find new clients, was nowhere to be found on Google. SEO Discovery, realizing my competitive industry, compiled keywords that would boost my website.

What was the team composition?

I speak directly with their senior project manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any statistics or metrics that speak to the quality of their work and impact of the engagement?

My page can now be found on the first few pages of Google when users search for my services. About 35% of my site visits were due to the work SEO Discovery does. I’ve secured paid work and even made new contacts since working with them. I’m beyond impressed with SEO Discovery.

How did SEO Discovery perform from a project management standpoint?

The project manager sends weekly reports. Communication is seamless. Their team is friendly and laid-back. Working with SEO Discovery is a pleasure.

What impresses you about SEO Discovery?

SEO Discovery’s professional team is committed to their projects. I couldn’t ask for better customer service.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I have no complaints working with SEO Discovery.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the sales director for the Builder Merchant Group. We’re a national organization, providing timber and building materials across the U.K.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with SEO Discovery?

We initially approached them to handle our SEO for our website but have expanded their role to include paid search and social media. Our goal was to land on the first page of Google for all of our keywords.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

After auditing our site, they helped us research and identify keywords to target and modified our site to be more SEO compliant. Their current core role is to oversee our organic keywords, but they also handle our AdWords account and manage our social media. We suggest the topics, and they generate the content and post it. Occasionally, we have them push a product, so they capture the images, conduct research, and write the text.

What is the team composition?

We’re typically in contact with our account manager.

How did you come to work with SEO Discovery?

We found them on the internet and tried them out for a month. They did a good job, so we never looked back.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend between $3,000–$3,500 per month.

What is the status of this engagement?

Their work started in 2016 and is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Thanks to their digital marketing strategies, our e-commerce business is booming. We have one of the biggest online presence for building materials in the U.K. Every week, they provide an in-depth report for all of our keywords, AdWords, and social media. They’ve managed to get us to the top ranking for nearly all of our targeted terms, and they’ve maintained a strong cost-per-click ratio for our AdWords spend. In terms of social media, we didn’t have much of a presence before they came along, but now we get a lot of follower engagement.

How did SEO Discovery perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very independent and manage their time well. When they give an estimate of how long it will take for a keyword to reach the top spot, they commit to it. And if they don’t meet that goal, then they work on it without charge until they finish. In terms of communication, we typically interface by phone and email. This year, we were able to see them in person. They came over from India, and we were pleased with the meeting.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Beyond increasing our online presence, I appreciate that they have a good understanding of our products. Even though they’re not in the U.K., they’re able to grasp what we do.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m not an expert in the field, so I can’t really comment. However, we’re happy with their service.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m the operations manager for Healthy Trim, a company that specializes in dietary supplements.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire SEO Discovery - Guaranteed Results?

We needed SEO for our primary website.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to increase our visibility organically.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We searched for vendors online and found SEO Discovery. We chose them based on a price comparison and user reviews.

Describe the project in detail.

We're very limited from a paid search standpoint, so the task for them was to help us boost brand awareness and increase site traffic organically. We consulted with them and came up with a strategy that focuses on the popular keywords within the industry along with branded keywords that help us accomplish this goal.

What was the team composition?

I communicate directly with their project manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any statistics or metrics that speak to the quality of their work and impact of the engagement?

We're focusing on over 20 keywords and are ranking on the first page of results for most of them.

How effective was the project management?

It's essentially just their project manager and I that discuss the project, which streamlines the work and expedites any revisions that need to be made. The process is simple yet extremely effective.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We’ve been using their services for almost two years and couldn’t be happier. Our organic reach increases on a continual basis and web traffic remains steady. Our industry is highly scrutinized, which limits us in many ways from a paid online advertising perspective, so seeing results like this helps us tremendously. SEO Discovery is highly recommended to anyone in the market for an SEO professional.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We simply can't ask for more for the price we pay each month.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the owner of Shan Photography, which is a wedding photography company based in Chicago.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with SEO Discovery?

We wanted to revamp our website and strengthen its keyword optimization to move higher up within Google rankings in our competitive market.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They redesigned our Wordpress website, making it more visually pleasing and cohesive for our customers. For search engine optimization, we focused on two key phrases: “Wedding photographer Chicago” and “Indian wedding photographer Chicago.” They optimized our content around those key phrases to move it up within Google search.

What is the team dynamic?

I work primarily with one of their SEO specialists.

How did you come to work with SEO Discovery?

We worked with SEO specialists before, but we were unhappy with the results and the price. I then did an online search, and found SEO Discovery. Their work appeared to be of high-quality and their prices were reasonable, so I decided to partner with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested approximately $500 per month.

What is the status of this engagement?

We partnered with them in March 2017 and continue to work with them.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

For “Indian wedding photographer Chicago,” we’re the third result on Google search. For “wedding photographer Chicago,” we place on the 2nd Google search results page, when we previously placed on the 12th or 13th page.

How did SEO Discovery perform from a project management standpoint?

Despite them being on offshore company with a large time difference, they responded quickly to any issue I had. At my request, we communicated mostly via email, but when needed, we spoke on the phone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re very professional, and they problem-solve quickly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their customer service could be improved.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a strategic consultant for a medical marketing group. Previously, I was the vice president of marketing. We have a lot of medical clients.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with SEO Discovery?

The main objective was to have someone help us deal with the search engine optimization campaigns that we have going on for our clients. Backlinks are one of the most important parts of an SEO campaign. Without it, it would be difficult to succeed online, especially with the competition.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We work in collaboration with the SEO Discovery team to achieve the results our clients want. We handle most of the SEO process, but SEO Discovery executes a lot of the backlink generation. They also give us ideas for optimizing our website and other matters related to SEO. They’re like a white-label partner so they don’t have any contact with our clients. They only deal with the SEO department in our company. It’s more of a third-party type of relationship.

For a certain client of ours, we would start the campaign and do the main optimization on the website. As we’re going through that process, we get in contact with SEO Discovery to get their thoughts. At that point, we create the second part of the campaign, which is when they come into play and start to generate links to the websites.

How did you come to work with SEO Discovery?

I was looking for a partner I could outsource part of the campaigns to, and I found SEO Discovery online. I got in contact with a few other companies to see what kind of work they do and what kind of results they could give us. I had a list of 15 companies that I narrowed down to 3. In the end, we decided to use SEO Discovery.

How much have you invested with them?

It varies depending on the project. We spend $24,000 per year.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in 2013, and the relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Mandeep [CEO, SEO Discovery] and his team are capable of doing much more than they do for us. They have helped us immensely to achieve good results online, reaching a few spots on page 1 for our clients.

How did SEO Discovery perform from a project management standpoint?

It’s a very seamless and hands-off process. We put a lot of thought into it, but we don’t need to go through a lot of paperwork. They get the job done as needed. They’re always there for us.

They’re in India, so we can’t expect them to be native speakers. Fortunately, we are able to communicate easily with anyone on their team, and they understand what we ask them to do. We primarily use Slack, and we also use Skype when we need video conferencing. We also use Facebook Messenger periodically.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It would be awesome if they could be our in-house team. They are always available for questions, and we can expect to get a response within the day. Their problem-solving and follow-up skills are on point. They get the job done and create what we need in a timely manner. Their work is pretty straightforward, and they do an outstanding job. I appreciate having them on my team.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t know of anything.
