Amazon listing re-design, graphics, copy and also they suggested I buy a number of verified reviews to raise my review rating... VERY EXPENSIVE AND NEGATIVE RESULTS...cancelled after 4 months of bleeding.

They cold called me and sold me their "bill of goods" and showed some results for another dietary supplement company.

Complete listing re-design, including graphics and copy... tried to manage PPC, but put the account into restricted due to marketing copy used... so I cannot do PPC ever again. Also sold verified reviews to us that we have had to follow up on repeatedly due to lack of response and reviews.

What was the team composition?

They hire people from the Philippines that are quite frankly very nice people. They are constantly apologizing for non performance. I think upper management is all about making money and does not care about their smaller business customers. These people who do their day to day work probably make slave level wages. Pitiful...

Cumbersome... I was the one doing all the follow up on things that took forever.

Nothing... They were slow to respond and did not pay attention to my specific instructions. I spent hours defining target market and uploading copy. My personal account rep was very nice and constantly apologizing for being under resourced.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

Yes they should have realized that they could not help me and not tied me into a bunch of cash outlay with no results.

I selected this vendor after a series of calls and zoom meetings where I was sold on the idea that there was no way that they wouldn't be able to deliver amazing results. Their sales team is their strongest part of their business, it was all downhill after that.

They updated my listings, copy and images. Created my A+ content. Updated and ran my PPC campaigns. They ran the daily operations of my Amazon account.

3-4, They outsource their work to Asia and there are different teams that do different areas of the process.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

My metrics and sales went down after they changed my listing copy and images. My adspend went up as well with a very poor return. So I was loosing more money daily. I lost a lot of time and money using Seller Interactive. Don't waste your money on Seller Interactive. Do your research and find a company that has better returns.

They will tell you what you want to hear and then under deliver and apologize. There were some asks that I ended up doing on my own because they never got around to them after days of waiting. At no point did I feel my company was in good hands. There were so many errors and delays that I spent just as much time micro managing Seller Interactive and doing damage control on their errors.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their sales team was very impressive and I thought I found a solution for turnkey Amazon management. If they actually delivered what they promised on the sales call it would be a decent business. But they didn't and it is not.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Everywhere. I wouldn't use Seller Interactives services even if they were free. They don't care about your business they way you do and their attention to detail is very poor.

We are still waiting for the outcome, as sales have not started to increase yet.

The workflow seems to be going very well.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I have been very impressed with the response times to my emails and the professional design work that they provide to my Amazon store. The whole onboarding process was very organized and professional. My account manager Russel has been excellent, as well as all the team I have worked with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They could have assigned an account manager to me sooner (it took over a week). I'd also like to see sales increase at a faster pace.

I’ve been selling on Amazon for about five years and my sales over those five years have been very flat. My hope with Seller Interactive is to grow and accelerate my business, because I feel incompetent in dealing with the specificness of Amazon as a channel.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Seller Interactive provides us with content management, digital marketing, and SEO and PPC campaign strategies.

They also helped me reimburse some of my lost inventory in the Amazon maze. I had almost given up on looking for my lost inventory, and I even communicated with Amazon about it on several occasions — but it went nowhere. I asked Seller Interactive if they knew how to recover lost inventory, and within 20 days, Amazon has repaid me for the inventory I had lost.

What is the team composition?

The thing I like the most about Seller Interactive is when I started, I was assigned an accounts executive with who I communicate directly. That person works within their organization where they have graphic designers, photographers, content writers, and analytics people. I don’t think those people are assigned to me exclusively, but my accounts executive serves as the quarterback for all of Seller Interactive’s activities. Everything that they’re responsible for, she reports it to me, as well as if there are things they need from my end in order for them to do their jobs. 

How did you come to work with Seller Interactive?

I previously worked with three other groups that claim they’re all Amazon geniuses and I would pay them six months or so, but the results would not change year after year. I separated from them, hired a different group to help me, and we still didn’t get any results — at that point, I thought there was no way I can win in this game. 

Then I received a call from Seller Interactive and got the same story about how they can help me change my content, update my imagery, and the titles of my products. It sounded very familiar because it’s the story that I’ve heard before. I took a flier and decided to engage with them and told them I wasn’t interested in impressions, I was interested in sales — if my sales don’t go up, I was going to dump them.

I gave them six months and it only took them 90 days to refresh my content, just as they said, and from then on it’s been nothing but up.

What is the status of this engagement?

I signed the contract in February 2020, and the partnership is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

In broad brush strokes, I would say my business on Amazon is four times greater than it was the previous year, after working with Seller Interactive. It’s quite astounding to me, and it’s validation that I really didn’t know what the hell I was doing — even though I was convinced that I did. It’s so effortless for them to do things the way it gets recognition from Amazon.

I just feel like I got a lot of people helping me from Seller Interactive. It just made a difference and it’s an incredible value for what I pay.

How did Seller Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?

There aren’t enough gold stars to give to our accounts executive — she has been an excellent communicator, and they’re very prompt and proactive. I feel like they’re way ahead of where I am and they’re dragging me along a little bit, which is what I want. I really feel like they’ve taken ownership and control of this project, and it’s just been a worry-free situation for me. The account management piece is just off the charts. 

We speak by phone, we do Zoom calls, and we also communicate through emails.

What did you find most impressive about them?

In simple terms, it’s the results. I don’t really care who I work with, I just want somebody to do my Amazon business and make it grow. I had no expectation that anything was going to happen with Seller Interactive — I was just throwing a dart. They took the reins on the whole deal and made everything better. My only measuring stick of whether they had value to me or not, was can they drive sales? The answer is they do, and they overachieve on that.

They blew past our expectations and it’s just been easy breezy to work with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

This is a long-distance transactional kind of thing and when you sign up with somebody long distance, you hear what they’re supposed to be, and then you get what you get. I got more than I could ever imagine and I’m just delighted working with these guys.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I have recommended Seller Interactive to other people already, and I think a lot of small businesses have gone through exactly what I’ve gone through. I would just say to give them a go. There is no reason I can think of to have somebody pause on hiring Seller Interactive if they want to amplify their Amazon business.

These guys came in, did what they said they were going to do and the results have been ridiculous. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Seller Interactive, if someone called me out of the blue to ask about them.

Measurable outcomes demonstrating progress or success seem to be overshadowed by their errors and lack of delivery. However, if we evaluate what was achieved before the issues arose, here are a few potential outcomes you could consider:

Initial Drafts and Revisions Completed

• Seller Interactive did deliver initial drafts and revisions of the Amazon listing content, including attempts to incorporate compatibility terms.
  The process involved multiple rounds of feedback and corrections, showing some progress in refining the content to meet your requirements (albeit ultimately undone by their negligence).
  Product Listing Published
• At one point, a listing was uploaded and active on Amazon. This demonstrates that some work had been completed and implemented (even though it led to an IP complaint due to their mistake).
  Advertising Campaigns Initiated
• Paid advertising campaigns were launched in April and May. Although unrelated to the content issues, the fact that ads were running during this time shows some level of operational progress on the project.
  
  Unfortunately, due to Seller Interactive's mistakes and lack of adherence to your instructions, these "successes" were ultimately rendered meaningless, as the core goal of maintaining an Amazon-compliant listing and avoiding IP issues was not achieved. If you're compiling a case or report, these points might serve as evidence of partial progress—while emphasizing that their negligence erased any tangible benefits.

Project Management Evaluation

1. Timeliness of Deliverables

Initial Deliverables: The initial drafts of the Amazon listing content were provided on time. However, subsequent revisions and key deliverables were delayed, especially after their team reassigned members to your project in May.

Post-Issue Deliverables: After the intellectual property violation in August, their promises to create a new listing and fix the damage were not met. Despite multiple follow-ups from your side, they failed to deliver the new listing or provide a timeline for resolution.
Responsiveness to Needs

Early Stages: In the beginning, they were somewhat responsive, taking feedback on the drafts and making revisions based on your instructions. However, their adherence to your critical guidelines, like avoiding trademarked terms, was poor.

Post-Issue: After admitting fault for the intellectual property complaint, they failed to effectively communicate or take meaningful action. They repeatedly made promises to fix the issue but consistently delayed or ignored your messages.
Communication and Internal Coordination

There were clear lapses in internal communication, as one team member replaced another without a smooth handover process. This led to a repeated mistake (the inclusion of trademarked terms) that had already been addressed earlier in the project.
Their lack of follow-through after acknowledging their fault demonstrates a failure in both client communication and internal accountability.

Seller Interactive’s project management was inefficient and unprofessional. While they started with some level of responsiveness, their delays, poor communication, and inability to follow through after their mistake caused significant harm to your business. Their promises of resolution appeared to be stalling tactics, leaving you without the services or results you paid for.

What Went Wrong: Despite your clear instructions to avoid using trademarked terms without compatibility phrases, they ignored this and included them in the final listing, leading to an Amazon IP complaint.

Improvement Needed: They should have strictly followed client instructions, especially regarding compliance with platform rules and intellectual property laws.

2. Internal Communication and Coordination

What Went Wrong: A change in team members led to mistakes that had already been addressed, indicating poor handoff procedures and lack of internal oversight.

After 9 months, my sales are down 20% YoY.

It was pretty terrible. Requests I made were unanswered, only to find out I had another rep assigned. I think they take the $1000/mo from me and hire someone in the Philippines for half that.

Their ability to not retain staff and their ability to ignore my requests.

You pay in advance for their service, and when I cancelled with 30 day notice, they ceased all service immediately even after they charged me their monthly fee for the upcoming month. Then they spent 2 weeks telling me I would get a refund, only to finally get ghosted. Dishonorable theives.
