We got contacted by them via Email and I made a first meeting via Zoom with them. After getting to know each other we started with a smaller "test" project. After that went well we went well we moved to bigger projects.

First I made a list of bugs that had to be solved and changes I wanted to be done. Then they tarted immediately working on it and solved all within a short amount of time.

I worked together directly with 2 persons, one from sales and the other was the leader of the team working on my issues.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The bugs where solved and the wished changes to the webshop were made within a couple of days. Especially the time critical bugs were solved fast.

We communicated mostly about skype and email, and they always reacted very fast, especially when things were time sensitive.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I liked most was the fast reactions to upcoming issues and that there was always communication, no matter what time, altough there is a big time difference between us. Communication was always clear and direct.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

All was fine.

The developer will have the weekly sprint meeting with our team members. The Magento 2 issues/features were created via JIRA tickets and assigned to the developer. He had discussion during the meeting and cleared all the unclear requirement during that time.

A Magento 2 backend developer were working with us.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Their developer has helped us clear a lot of backlog Magento 2 tasks and pending features during that time. He delivered fast and followed our requirements most of the time. We are happy with the result.

We had weekly sprint meeting over Skype. Project and tasks were managed via JIRA. Most of the communications were done via Slack. If there was any unclear issue, we normally got it resolved via Slack or voice meeting at Skype.

Their management team is having very good communication. If the developer was unable to work for any reason, they let me know right away. And they were very responsive and helpful.

None so far.

Our website was created 5 years ago on Magento:

1. We needed to upgrade to Magento
2. We used the opportunity to revamp many parts of the site, and improve desktop and mobile functionality.

We also needed the e-commerce portion to be fully integrated and seamless. We hired Rock Technolabs to perform these upgrades.

I searched for over a year, and just did not feel confident with the companies I met with. I am not an IT person, so I needed someone who could handle everything, and I have very high standards. I explained to Daya my concerns, and she was very patient in making sure all my (many !) questions were answered.

Also, once she made the sale of the contract, she stayed involved in every step until launch. I should be clear this was not a large project in IT terms, but I was treated as important nonetheless.

We had a detailed plan fully laid out in advance. With every step, the plan was updated. We had a Zoom call to clarify some items as well.

The functionality is much improved, as is the navigation. It is early to know about sales, as we launched last week

They were very timely and had excellent communication about the status and the next steps. Once we started, it was finished in 3 weeks. It only took that long because my e-commerce solution created some difficulties which needed to be overcome. The time zone difference was no problem, because they accommodated me.

Honestly, it was that they actually do everything they say, and work very hard to be helpful and timely. This is unfortunately unique in today's world.

Not that I can think of :)

I was searching for Magento partner agency which is highly skilled in Magento and have team of certified developers who are proactive and know inside out how magento works. After searching in Google in specific country India I came across Rock Technolabs and many other agencies.

There were 3 companies in row to finalize for this project and at end I selected Rock Technolabs because all interviews with their developers, Project managers and CEO was wonderful and I was fully satisfied with their honest answers and skilled.

Main thing I was impressed was their presentation to client, it was fantastic and make your things clear and also they have great Magento portfolio and client references. They respond quickly to all my emails even we have big time different where other companies were not too responsive.

Main project, I hired them is Magento 1 to Magento 2 migration and new design implementation.

First, they asked for staging server and live server detail to start work and they performed full project on staging site first and after my approval they moved to live server with low downtime.

Also, they suggest me with good hosting (Dedicated server), Good theme, Good extensions and many other functionality which helps in making my site more user friendly.

Rock Technolabs has successfully migrated all data, products, customers, orders etc to Magento 2 without any loss, they upgraded all magento 1 extensions to latest magento 2 version and also suggest with new one and configured it, integrated Payment & Shipping methods and done lots of customization as per my need.

Yes, I must say my decision to hiring Rock Technolabs was perfect as they delivered on time, with best quality, performance and without any loss of data.

And after working with them and migrating my store to Magento 2 with new design my sales become 3 x times higher so I they really helps me in our business growth.

They respond to my every email too quickly within same day even we have huge time difference and available anytime for critical issues . They are highly skilled in Magento 2, responsive and honest who never do fake promises, which make them unique.

I think there is always chance for improvement but I didn’t see anything which I can suggest them to Improve. They are perfect and I highly recommend them for all your magento development needs.

it was always the same, i gave the access data, they analyzed the situation and provided a migration time plan. We could use the existing time shift for reducing downtimes for the migration tasks.

i only had one manager to talk who always was available to me mainly via email. when needed to discuss via skype in the background two developer worked on the tasks we had to finish.

We required them to give weekly reports on the project. We followed the same system with all of our outsourced contractors to ensure that we stayed on time and on budget. Our operations manager oversaw this process with each vendor.

Their developers were very good. It was clear that each developer working on our projects was experienced and talented. They got the right training and had the right technical capabilities. I think their recruitment process is very strong.

No, there’s no perfect company, but they were as good as we could’ve wanted.

When you’re working with an outsourced development company, you can’t just assume that the project is going to go well. It’s vital to have good project management, documentation, and clear lines of communication. Make sure everyone is held accountable for hitting their goals.

They met the due date for every request we had. Their work was excellent, I’d give it a five out of five stars. At any given moment, even if it was last minute, they were able to accommodate extended hours. Not once did they shy away from putting in extra hours, even if it was their night time.

They were good. I didn’t have too much of a difficulty understanding them or working with them. Communication worked very well over email and calls.

Unbeknownst to me, we were working together through another agency that went bankrupt.

I was left with only some of the design and development work started. Thankfully, I was contacted by Rock Technolabs, and they said they were the ones who were actually working on the project.

It was an e-commerce store that used Magento. The main scope was to build the website from a design that had already been produced. Without having the original design company there, Rock Technolabs translated that design, while frequently communicating with me. This was my first website build by myself, so their team educated me as well throughout the process.

There was a full team, but I worked with the technical project lead, the owner, and the sales rep. They’ve all remained in contact with me throughout the engagement.

After the mishap with the other agency, they actively contacted me. I knew that their team provided good work from what I had seen before. I was hesitant because they were far away, but in the end, I decided to take the chance.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

With my background in technology, I can see that Rock Technolabs is on par anyone in the software development field. The only thing that was lacking at first was some of the content on the site. Some of their team members didn’t have a lot of command of the English language, so it took a few rounds of editing, but they got it right in the end.

How did Rock Technolabs perform from a project management standpoint?

They were available to answer questions. I never had to wait on emails, and their team was always free through Skype. Even when it was midnight in India, they were still contacting and responding to any questions I posed.

What did you find most impressive about them?

No matter the time of day, the team always communicated directly with me. They’re also very personable.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’ve worked in other parts of the world. One of them being Germany. Sometimes when they say a deadline is at 5, it’s already late at 4:30. Perhaps it had to do with us being apart, but sometimes we went over deadlines. But, in the end, it always got done within the next 24 hours.

Have a good understanding of the design of what you want. Their expertise is in implementation and development. They could still improve on their design knowledge. Take into account the time difference and that both sides need to stretch to meet.
