They worked with Magento team to explore the complete potential of the Magento Enterprise Cloud solution. They built the infrastructure of process automations as per our needs. The objective was to have a blue print demo ready within the defined timeframe and later on based on that increased the involvement periodically, eventually leading up to the required market place. The technologies used were Magento as well as SEO enhancements.

2 backend developers were the initial team which later on by the end of project increased to 4 backend and 2 frontend, along with 1 QA and a Project Manager which was in fact the CEO as well.

In Thriftify we have two main products: our Retail platform which is being used by charities and non-profits to establish their online presence including listing products, managing their inventory as well as their fulfilment.
The second product is our consumer marketplace, which consumers can go on to browse and purchase sustainable products directly from charities. Our main goals were to establish Product-Market Fit in Ireland, get at least 80% of the Irish charity retailers on to our platform as well as close our seed round. All 3 of these goals were achieved with RLTSquare's help.

Our CTO is from Pakistan and we knew from the start that Pakistan is home to some of the best Magento developers. So this was the starting point. From the 3 Magento agencies that we interviewed at the time, RLTSquare was clearly the more experienced in terms of the type and size of projects that they've worked on previously, as well as the size of their team and how quickly they can help us scale if required.

What started as a simple ecommerce site, evolved into a supplement telemedicine platform for healthcare professionals. During the entire process, RLTSquare was our trusted development partner on this project for more than 2+ years, from start to finish. They helped us create a custom web application that integrated with Magento in advanced and sophisticated ways. Patients and doctors would access the patient/doctor portal by visiting my.nutrivivo.com. The portal reflected what inventory was available using Magento's multi-site feature. Doctors would login to Nutrivivo and create supplement recommendations for Patients. Patients would then automatically get email and SMS notifications until they completed their order.

Nutrivivo at it's high point had more than 100+ healthcare professioanls on the platform and thousands of patients. Doctors used the platform to make better, faster supplement recommendations to their patients. From the healthcare professional perspective, the key deliverables included allowing doctors to quickly make recommendations and to track the success of their patients through the platform. Doctors also paid a 30% platform fee. Doctors would connect their own independent payment processor to Nutrivivo and then they would automatically pay Nutrivivo a platform fee each time a Patient of theirs ordered.
From the Patient perspective, people would get email and SMS text notifications when their doctor made a recommendation for them. Patients would then login and quickly and easily go through checkout. Some of these supplements work best when they are taken month after month, so some of these patients also signed up for recurring orders. RLTSquare did all of this beautiful incorporating complex custom technology, all on top of Magento. We integrated Klaviyo, multiple payment processors, recurring orders, complex automations.

I had engaged a dedicated team of 4 people including a part-time PM and 3 full-time Magento developers. A project manager was our main point of contact throughout the process.

Overall, the custom platform application RLT helped us create, all of which was beautifully integrated with Magento, functioned great and looked amazing. From RLT's perspective, it was a success. The tech was amazing. Nutrivivo failed because of the same reason 99% of startups fail - we didn't find product market fit. Doctors make a lot of money and I think they weren't financially motivated to use our product. While looking for product-market fit though, RLT helped us pivot the product several times and helped us roll-out new updates regularly.

We had daily stand-ups with our project manager. He was an excellent communicator and I always trusted the product in his hands. We used a combination of Slack, Trello, Github and other tools to coordinate the project. We also used Hubstaff to track time.

What I found most impressive about RLT is their ability to solve complex problems and their excellent communication. I never got the response back "we can't"; it was basically, if I can dream it, RLT can figure out a way to do it with Magento. I also want to stress how great their communication is. I've worked with countless teams from overseas and communication is typically a big issue, so much so that it's almost not worth it. I always felt like it was worth it with RLT. It never felt like I was outsourcing. RLT felt like part of the team.

We shortlisted 3 vendors. After detailed meetings with all, RLT Square managed to outshine others by sheer amount of engagement at every stage. Although rest of 2 vendors were based in same city as ours, but the way RLT Square handled everything, distance or different city did not matter at all.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Like every project, after sign off, we had a project kickoff meeting where we decided detailed timelines and minor and major deliverables. We also decided project boundaries to avoid any scope creep. Our platform was Magento 2 Enterprise and for project management we used Trello. For hosting we used AWS.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
A project manager/tech lead was our main point of contact. There were 2 other backend developers and 1 frontend developer. However, RLT Square CEO was always in touch and made sure that his team is delivering as per agreed timelines.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We, at Naheed.pk, consider this project a great success. This project started from scratch and involved various complex custom addons. All of this was required to be ready by soft go live date of 31st Dec 2018. This project was ready 15 days before this soft go live date.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
We had weekly formal online meetings with the Project Manager to review overall progress. During these meetings we discussed overall project progress and roadblocks, if any. We used Trello for project management, as both our and RLT Sqaure's teams were comfortable with it.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They were approachable, responsive, knowledgeable, and brave enough to face complex tasks. The CEO made sure that we, as a client, are satisfied
Are there any areas for improvement?
When we worked with RLT Square, at that time they were providing technical/custom development solutions for Magento only. I think they should also look into other well-know platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce. Furthermore, If they can provide digital management and other ecommerce related solutions, it will really help.
RLTSquare has been able to upgrade the site to the latest Magento version, resulting in an improvement in its mobile responsiveness. The team's solid understanding of the client's problems and goals allows them to implement effective solutions that help the client optimize their business processes.
