What challenge were you trying to address with RichestSoft?

We needed someone to develop our e-commerce platform. The website is a buy/sell platform where individuals can list their ad and people can browse and make a purchase. They can interact with the seller and do the trade-in or the sale.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They built the website and the applications for Android and iOS. They worked on the frontend and the backend from scratch. They did the logo, created login options, leads, and ability for users to create their account. They planned out the whole user flow. They developed wireframes, and actually handled almost everything. Right now, people can go to Google Play and download the application.

I work with 2–3 people, including a project manager.

One told me that the project I’m handling isn’t what they do. They referred me to Clutch because they have people I can trust. I found RichestSoft on Clutch; I read their reviews and they were impressive.

We started working together in November 2017 and the work is ongoing. The app is launched but I still have more projects to do with them.

They came out as the better choice when I was looking for someone. Once I present a task to them, they don’t hesitate to do it. The quality of the work is good.

At C4 Belts, we manufacture belts and buckles made of a thermoplastic material. They come in different colors and designs that you can mix and match. I’m the founder.

What challenge were you trying to address with RichestSoft?

We had many bugs and problems with our website. Our original developer and webmaster had abandoned us, and we needed a lot of help.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They sorted through the coding, found out what was causing the glitches, and fixed them. It was everything from shopping cart problems to products loading to restoring the layout and design of the site. There are multiple issues going on that they’ve been able to help with. It’s all frontend and backend development.

What is the team dynamic?

I’ve spoken with at least two different people. My main contact is Gary [Project Manager, RichestSoft], the liaison between the client and the developers.

How did you come to work with them?

We were looking for a cheaper alternative to American developers. We started looking for overseas services, and we ended up with RichestSoft.

We started working together in June 2017, and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

When our customers have problems checking out, it tremendously impacts our ability to generate revenue. As they've helped us fix those issues, it's obviously been making a huge difference on our business.

How did they perform from a project management standpoint?

Their service is great, and they’re very accessible. By email, they usually respond within minutes. We call them frantic with emergencies all the time, and they handle it professionally and usually fix it within 12 to 24 hours, if not quicker. We check in with them at least every other week, sometimes weekly. When there’s problems in communicating or there’s any chance of a misunderstanding, they insist on doing a video chat where we can screen share and fully understand each other, what the problem is, and how to resolve it. I’m very happy with their services in that respect.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their affordability compared to others and the quality of their work is better than other options we looked at. You get better service at a more affordable rate.

No, they’re very thorough.

We wanted to implement a third party API into our websites. There are lots of issues with coding and design, which need to be fixed. Site performance was not good and having issues with databases. We needed to build some custom modules for our existing site and wanted to build a couple of sites from scratch. We are running different groups under our parent company. We want to make different brands for different services so multiple sites become our first choice. We wanted to work with a company that could provide quick changes and customization.

RichestSoft took the challenge of working with a third party API and worked on our site issues and custom modules for the site. We were happy with the first site work and then they built our new site. RichestSoft designed and developed it from scratch. They implemented the features according to our requirements and made my website user-friendly. I like the design, as it has responsive aspects that help to reach visitors easily. Their services include the complete package of web services. The prices are better compared to others.

I posted my job requirements on a portal, called Upwork where I found RichestSoft. They were a leading agency that was ready to complete my job requirements on time. Their excellent ratings and positive client feedback convinced me to hire them for their services.

I started working with RichestSoft in July of 2016 and they continue to provide assistance on updates to the website.

They made the site user and mobile friendly, which increased our visitors. Our sites were looking old and outdated, and now they have a modern feel. 

We trusted them and we are fully satisfied with their service. I like the work and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good web development company.

Their project management is outstanding. They give complete updates after completing every development step and make changes per our requirements. They manage development tasks and deliver it on time.

The right use of technologies to make my online project unique is the most impressive thing about RichestSoft. I received an outstanding experience while working with RichestSoft. The team is friendly and communicates well. They clear all of my queries on time and make the changes I ask for.

Partners in Performance is a global organization with a primary focus on assisting larger companies with identifying gaps in their business, and finding opportunities to reduce cost or increase production. I am an IT systems architect, and have worked with the company since 2006.

We have a joint venture with a partner in South Africa for developing an internal piece of software. We had a plain, generic page in place, but needed to create a new public website for it, and needed a development team that could help us.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

RichestSoft was responsible for taking our templates, upgrading them to the new version of our CMS, and deploying them to a staging environment, with updated designs for all the subsections in the site.

The site is generic overall, with static pages. We have links from the homepage to product descriptions, some case studies, and so on. Our team can log onto the CMS and add new information for the case studies, in a simple fashion which doesn’t require a web developer.

We were mainly concerned with the conversion process from our old templates, but RichestSoft handled this without issues, and came up with ideas like making a multilingual site. In our case, we only needed English, so this wasn’t a concern.

How did you come to work with RichestSoft?

We found them on Upwork, made a comparison with other companies, and looked at RichestSoft’s past projects. They were a clear winner, and assigned a very responsive developer to us.

The cost of their work has been between $5,500 and $6,000.

We started working with RichestSoft in early May 2017. They have continued to maintain our website, and we’ve also engaged them to take over the primary company page.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

I have no complaints. We had minor issues with our templates, but they were to be expected, and were fixed easily. The result was fantastic, exactly what we asked for.

How did RichestSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

They worked on every task we provided, either on a daily or weekly basis. We received daily updates on our progress for each task. We communicated via Upwork’s instant messaging and email.

What did you find most impressive about RichestSoft?

The project management was included in the overall development package. I also appreciated that RichestSoft is knowledgeable across a multitude of languages.

I’m the founder of Fellow Gent, which is an online platform and community for men to share everything they love including style, design, travel and adventure, fashion, business, and fitness tips. We’re an open community and people can submit their stories and photos.

What challenge were you trying to address with RichestSoft?

I wanted to create a platform and backend that would allow people to submit their stories, articles, and publications. We don’t have any in-house developers and wanted to hire a technical designer to design the backend and make sure it’s fully functional. This acted as an enhancement to our website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

RichestSoft was tasked to fully automate the contributor section on our website. We get 25–50 submissions a day and instead of them going to an email, we automated the whole process so that the stories go to the right editor. We have a really open communication log with the contributors for when they go live.

When an article goes live, the contributor gets a note asking them to push back and announce to their audience that the work is published. We wanted to elevate the user experience and the whole frontend of it. We wanted to make it simpler than sending an email. The automation of the site was our idea and RichestSoft helped with the tech side of things to implement it and integrate it into our website. We communicated back and forth to make sure that they were delivering to our specs.

We found them on Upwork. We reached out to 10 different people and RichestSoft wasn’t the cheapest; they were actually on the upper end, but their communication and reassurance from the start were encouraging. We looked at their past projects, talked with them, and really clicked, even on a personal level.

You get what you pay for, and they were definitely worth the extra money. They were more professional and super timely in their responses.

We started working with them in November 2016, and the project launched on January 1st, 2017.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

There’s nothing else like our system. Most sites have journalists and editors but for our site, it’s contributors writing and publishing the stories themselves. Having open communication with these people that are business owners, creatives, photographers, and entrepreneurs gives them a voice and freedom to post their daily life and what inspires them.

RichestSoft has been with us from the beginning of our company, so it’s been a great partnership. People feel more confident when they’re submitting their work. The whole process has been streamlined.

How did RichestSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

They were amazing. Instant communication is critical for us and I was surprised with how fast they respond. We’re in different time zones, but they respond in 1–2 hours. We started communicating on Skype and email; now, we use WhatsApp and have instant access to text with them. They were always available and would let us know any new idea or progress they made.

What did you find most impressive about RichestSoft?

Their communication was the most impressive thing about them. Their technical expertise and the fact that they delivered on time were also great. They were very passionate about our project; it wasn’t just another job for them. They took the time to understand our needs.

Are there any areas RichestSoft could improve?

Being from India, their English was great compared to others. I thought that going on to Upwork and hiring a freelancer from another country would result in some issues with language, but we were surprised and happy with how they understood us and that we were able to understand them.

I’m an independent consultant who’s responsible for developing websites for medical clinics.

They acted as my development house for both desktop and mobile.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped me with 2 sites that were based on WordPress. It wasn’t a standard development arrangement because there were lots of ecosystems, add-ons, and plugins. The project included UI [user interface] and service development. They customized and coded different WordPress add-ons for the needs of those clinics, including add-ons for appointment settings. A lot of logic was involved in adding to the different plugins on the UI side and the server side. We already had the design, and RichestSoft interpreted it.

How did you come to work with RichestSoft?

I wanted to find a good development house with a great return on investment. I searched on different platforms like Upwork, and that’s where I found them. I hired RichestSoft based on their experience, rate, and my interviews with them. We started with simple tasks; then, when I was satisfied with their work, I decided to continue the project with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

I’ve been working with them for 18 months. The project wasn’t ongoing all the time.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

I’m coming from the IT world as a product executive. I manage product development, release management, etc. I use those same methods with RichestSoft, even though they’re a third-party provider. There is no perfect delivery, but theirs was high-standard. If we had any bugs, QA [quality assurance] delivered on that. My clients have been very satisfied with the results. The product is working well, and the monetization is great.

How did RichestSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

I was the project manager. They delivered on time and were responsive when I needed them. We communicated via email and Skype. If there was a session scheduled for going over specifications and release notes, we did that on Skype. If it’s an ongoing communication around staff, we communicated via email.

What did you find most impressive about RichestSoft?

My standards are very high in terms of the development. We got great value for what we paid. They were responsive and delivered on time. The overall experience was very positive.

Are there any areas RichestSoft could improve?

Their QA could be improved. At times, the delivery needed some bug fixing and QA, and not everything was fixed on the first round. The delivery was fast, though, and everything was eventually fixed.

Label Express manufactures pressure-sensitive sheets for offset printing. I’m the owner.

What challenge were you trying to address with RichestSoft?

We were implementing a new e-commerce website and we needed approximately 400 configurable products added.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Each product had different attributes that we needed implemented into the website including permanent removal, adhesives, liner configurations and different sheet sizes. RichestSoft found a way to implement it all into one radio box so users could select different options. Once all the selections were made, it would pull up the correct SKU.

How did you come to work with RichestSoft?

We found them on Upwork and looked at past work they had done, some of the companies they had worked for. We checked all the websites they created with the products they uploaded, and they were similar to the attributes of our products. We figured they already knew what they were doing and hired them. They figured it out pretty quick.

We started working with them in April 2017, and the work was completed in May 2017.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

We’ve been testing the site for the past week. They’ve made quick changes if we found anything we disliked or wasn’t functioning to our liking. Everything seems to be functioning as they said it would be.

How did RichestSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

They got a little ahead of themselves in the first few days. We asked them to focus on just a couple of products so we could make sure one product was functioning correctly. But they uploaded a whole category and had to go back and redo that whole category. Other than that, everything got uploaded and set up correctly and quickly. The time difference was a little bit of a problem but I stayed up late enough that it worked out. I had one point of contact and we communicated through email and Upwork messaging.

What did you find most impressive about RichestSoft?

They have the ability to understand what you’re looking for more quickly. Sometimes over email and messaging, it’s hard to get a point across, but they ask questions to make sure what they’re doing is what you want them to be doing.

Are there any areas RichestSoft could improve?

In the beginning, they moved forward without getting the first product the way we wanted it. I think if they would’ve focused on that, it would’ve saved some time.

What challenge were you trying to address with RichestSoft?

We wanted our website redesigned and managed.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They did all the coding for the new site on Shopify. I came up with most of the layout and they did the coding. As there were problems, they would give me feedback and suggestions on how to address those and how the site could be improved. One feature they coded for was accessing different applications including outside packages and parties that work within Shopify. For instance, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc. They created a new Shopify template for us so that every page we had had the same look and feel. They worked on frontend navigation which allowed us to simplify and leverage the navigation of the pre-bought template we had. They didn’t work on the design; they were used for the coding and implementation.

How did you come to work with RichestSoft?

I vetted several companies that I found on Upwork. I hired them because of clarity of communication and understanding, the ability to get the task done, and working within the budget. I was able to determine that from several conversations we had.

We started working together in January 2016 and the work was completed in March 2016. They were retained for maintenance and updates for six months after that.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

They were very responsive to bugs that we found. The bugs were not technical; they were more nuanced or cultural. We were able to address those very quickly. Our sales increased by 25%, but I don’t know if I can attribute that to the new site or the products we’ve added.

How did RichestSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

They were fabulous. I had great access to the developer himself, and he and I took care of everything. Every once in a while, we would check in with the lead project manager to make sure there was coordination with other parts of the system that needed to be completed. The time difference was never a problem. We communicated through Skype and email.

What did you find most impressive about RichestSoft?

What impressed me was the ease of communication and their ability to complete the action at hand with limited communication.

Not really. They were fabulous.

I’m in charge of operations and our sales team. Our business is a performance online marketing company. We find prospective students for colleges or universities from web forms or a call center service in education verticals.

What challenge were you trying to address with RichestSoft?

We inherited RichestSoft through a supervisor we hired. She was already working with them, so I don’t know how they were brought on as a development team. We currently use them for more basic, day-to-day functions like handling our web pages and other simple tasks. They supplement our in-house resources. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Over the last few months, it’s been almost like a maintenance from scripts that were designed. I don’t speak the technical language, but RichestSoft makes sure that the scripts in place are executed properly on a daily basis. We handle WP3 or WAV files through an FTP [file transfer protocol] to multiple clients, and RichestSoft makes sure that all the name extensions are done properly. They also do all the HTML updates that are necessary on our web pages.

We have a main server, and they essentially build all our landing pages that go off it. I think they’re built on Drupal. For the most part, they work on the backend. Once in a while, I’ll ask them for some light design work. We supply them with the templates.

How did you come to work with RichestSoft?

We took on a supervisor who had worked with them previously. When she left the company, I took over the relationship.

What is the status of this engagement?

As a company, we started working with them in September of 2015, and I actively started working with them directly in September or October of 2016. Our relationship is ongoing.

The quality is adequate. I don’t work closely with them, so I don’t have any details to share.

How did RichestSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

They are accommodating within our hours, as they’re in a different time zone. There is a language barrier at times. The work gets done, but sometimes it’s not fully understood. I don’t always have a timeframe of when projects will finish, and I don’t really have a way to explain that in English. At the end of the day, the work does get done. We use Slack mostly for communication and sometimes Skype. I deal with a single person on their team.

What did you find most impressive about RichestSoft?

The work gets done. If there’s a question, we’ll go through a few rounds of trying to understand each other until we get to an answer. They’re reliable and always available.

Are there any areas RichestSoft could improve?

They could work to reduce the language barrier and improve their understanding of the business.

I’m the CEO of a company named Grace. We run a directory for hospices and home health agencies.

What challenge were you trying to address with RichestSoft?

We needed a firm to handle our online marketing, website creation, and organic search.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We needed them to improve organic search across specific cities for specific key terms. They were in charge of maintaining a weekly report of all the terms for which we were trying to rank and keeping us notified of those reports. We came up with the keywords together. Our target market is national, focusing on certain locations. They did backlinks, advised us on organic search strategy, and created different WordPress sites. We created templates for the WordPress sites and visual design files, and they would turn those into actual sites.

We found them on Upwork. They were incredibly responsive and seemed like they had a lot of experience that matched our needs.

Their work is very high quality. We have a consistent uptick week over week across all geos. There’s also been a very significant change in the rankings for all 140 key terms. Whenever we had a concern or criticism, it’s immediately addressed and fixed. They’ve been the best team we’ve worked with to date.

They’ve been very communicative and very understanding of our needs. We have two points of contact, and we use Slack, Skype, and email for communication. They’re always responsive and timely.

They have an incredible, deep understanding of business needs. They understand why something needs to be done, rather than just doing what we tell them. They often provide us with additional support for things we didn’t think we needed.
