For what projects/services did your company hire RCCO?

We hired RCCO for slide design services. We had a few last minute slides came in that were incredibly important to the story we are trying to tell, and RCCO helped us re-design these slides so they create the most impact.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

This is one of our pre-approved design vendors. They are my preferred vendor as they can do quick turn around on the slides and are able to match my design tastes exquisitely.

We sent them draft slides with text and a template that had some style elements that we wanted them to match on Monday afternoon. By Tuesday we had first revision and final slides came in Wednesday morning.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The client was impressed with the messaging and we managed to keep their attention for 5+ hours. The slides were the cornerstone of our value delivery.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very fluent and fast. I knew this was a last minute request and it was going to be challenging as I am in California and they are in the UK. But they rose to the occasion. Their project manager called my cell and got additional details that I missed and we kept going. They delivered excellent work far beyond expectations with few hours to go.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I love the designs they create. They are modern, feel light, original yet on point.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nope. This was really well done.

I am the marketing manager of a Dutch software company, providing our customers with a software solution for supply chain management and S&OP.

For what projects/services did your company hire RCCO?

RCCO was hired to refresh our website with updated branding and featuring a self-service automated platform that could support the launch of a cloud-based version of our software application. They designed the new website from scratch, providing us with a sleek new look and plenty of branding assets for use in our application, website, and beyond.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

They were energetic, creative, and deeply knowledgeable.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We wanted an updated website that would transform our business into a cloud-based and self-service technology model. The design of the site should drive visitors to sign up and help generate leads for our sales team, as well as implementing deeper conversion tracking on the new site. RCCO analyzed and evaluated our website, showing us what needed to be updated and why. Over the course of the project we met, discussed, and reviewed with RCCO to ensure satisfaction on all sides. Our new website went live in April 2021.

Over the course of the initial project and subsequent requests, we have worked with a variety of RCCO employees. Jordan, the CEO, Josh, the CTO, and Poppy, Client Success Lead.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The branding design and assets that RCCO provided continue to drive our marketing outputs to this day.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They listened to our requests, made sure that we were kept up to speed with video tutorials and meetings, and were ready to assist in emergencies.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

RCCO created a unique and great-looking website that stands out, deviating from the usual template-based sites you come across. Their artistic talents and vision provided us with a great look and branding material that captured us as a company.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Some quotes for minor website adjustments have been expensive in comparison to prices elsewhere.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am a marketing coordinator for a software organization called Ad-Lib.io. We are a marketing software organization focused exclusively on the digital creative component of advertising.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with RCCO?

We packaged questions into a survey related to major potential pain points that CMOs and higher-ranking executives in the top 50 brands in Europe with ad spend of $25 million or more experienced. We compiled all the feedback and wrote up PR-related comms, but we needed help creating an e-book that had oversight of everything we disclosed. We needed it to look presentable and to have graphs that helped underscore our value add, but we didn’t have anyone internally that could do that. 

We outsourced our efforts to RCCO, to help us generate the e-book. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We met with them and explained what we wanted to do, and what we needed from them. They had done something similar for our company before, and we wanted them to take the formatted PDF version they had already done, scrap it clean, and then put the new information from our survey into it. 

They took all the information we had, like graphics we had created in Microsoft Word and Google Slides, and transferred that into an e-book PDF format. 

What is the team composition?

Our main point of contact was Jane (Senior Account Manager). We know there was a team behind the scenes, but we never met with them. 

How did you come to work with RCCO?

We’ve done projects with them in the past. The founder of our company has a connection to RCCO. 

How much have you invested with them?

We invested £3,200 (approximately $3,500 USD).  

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them from October 7–16, 2022.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We haven’t launched anything yet, but we’ve had a lot of success with them in the past on projects similar to this. The formatting of the project blew us away, and it was especially impressive given the accelerated time period that they were working in. Everything turned out the way we imagined it, and we were very happy with the finished product. 

How did RCCO perform from a project management standpoint?

They were incredible. We initially gave them one timetable, then had to bump that up, and they had it to us even sooner than we asked for. They were very transparent about timelines and things they needed from us. There was never any negative pushback, even when we asked to move up the timetable. They didn’t drag their feet at all; they just got the work done.

We communicated through email, and had one initial video call at the beginning of the project. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They went above and beyond from an effort and capability perspective and were always responsive. If we had a question or needed to clarify something, they made time to connect with us, despite the time difference we were working with. Things don’t always go this smoothly when working with vendors, and they were able to meet us and exceed our expectations which we found truly remarkable. 

They were incredible regarding expectations, communication, and execution of the deliverables. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We can’t think of anything we could critique them on. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be forthright, and upfront about everything. If you have a tight timeline, let them know, and take all the materials you think they might need to hit the ground running. Let them know the copy, branding, and color scheme you want to use because it’s amazing how quickly they can turn things around. 

Even if you have a deadline that you think is near impossible, let them know because they still might be able to do it.
