As a result, Chris Dreyer’s nascent agency found itself operating within a relatively small pool, but against others who were just as hungry to grow as he was. As a result, in 2018, Rankings niched down further and made personal injury SEO their sole focus. Rankings.co was to completely re-code our existing websites (one for personal injury and one for criminal defense) and then proceed with link-buying, content creation, and additional optimization. We signed up for their most expensive option, which includes 800+ domains per year, 20,000 words of content per month, and a dedicated account manager. What's the status of this engagement? We terminated our engagement with Rankings.io in April, 2023, as we were incredibly disappointed in the results provided given the significant price-point. Subsequently, Rankings.io reached out to us and made significant attempts to rectify the issues that we identified in our review.

Rankings.io delivered on the "deliverables," meaning we had more content, more backlinks, and more domains. However, they completely failed in delivering in leads, new clients, or any other measurable which would have been financially advantageous for our law firm. We were told, over and over again, to just wait longer and that before we knew it we would have more work than we could handle.
This, obviously, never came to pass. All that happened is that we kept on paying Rankings' bills and waiting. We're still waiting.

Items were delivered on time and Rankings was generally responsive. Unfortunately, the responses that we continually received were "just wait longer," or "I'm confident that it will work eventually."

How did your relationship with your partner evolve?
My initial review was based on content written by ChatGPT. I received a call from one of the people at Rankings.io wanting to make this right. He personally did SEO on my site and provided non ChatGPT content with no charge. I am now on the first page for the areas I wanted. I have also chosen to continue working with Rankings.io because they made it right.
In what ways can they improve?
I am happy with the new results.
What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?
I suggest whenever you have a problem with a vendor, reach out to them. In my case, it was not until I wrote a review that they reached out.

I’d caution anybody against hiring Rankings.io. If they did it to me, they’re doing it to others. ChatGPT is free; you don’t need to pay a company to do something you can do for free.
Moreover, I’d recommend finding a company that will be genuine, honest, and knowledgeable about your practice area so they can create great content and you can rank higher, not steal from you.
