RadianSys managed the project professionally from the outset and dedicated significant resources to understand our application. Our web app was 7 years into development at the beginning of this project and had a significant amount of history and complexity as a result.
While we didn't quite hit our initial target date in terms of timing, this was not unexpected on our side and we appreciated the commitment from RadianSys in terms of continuing to develop and refine the product until we were all satisfied it was going to deliver a great experience to our end user. They have always been responsive to our communications and provided excellent support in the days and weeks following the app launch to ensure some minor bugs were fixed and new versions rolled out.

Radiansys Inc has redesigned our website from the ground up, including the products in our catalog. They’ve also created a customer form that enables users to upload files, pictures, and support tickets to the website. The team has used WordPress to rebuild the website and React Native to build the mobile app, which is compatible with iOS and Android and is hosted on AWS. The team has also helped with integrations and merged the website with the app. Â
Since completing the development stages, the team has continued supporting us with maintenance and upkeep initiatives. They’ve also built additional features, including an internal message board for our customers and distributors and a custom configurator.

The team build a new mobile app from the ground up, based on designs (in XD) and API specs. My team developed the API and the XD, and thus Radiansys had to coordinate with us. Overall, our success metrics focused on these three things: adaptation, accuracy, and adherence to timelines.Â

Radiansys Inc's integrity sets them apart from their competition. I had some initial problems with the development, so I went to the company's owner to resolve them. I was impressed that they fixed them quickly, and the teammate who had caused the issue was very professional about the entire situation. I loved that the owner took ownership of the problem and resolved it — that's how I knew I would form a long-term relationship with Radiansys Inc. Radiansys Inc doesn't give up on a project and fights to ensure the client is always happy.Â
Are there any areas they could improve?
I think Radiansys Inc would benefit from expanding their technical resource base. I wish they had more expertise in-house to work on projects that I want to complete.Â

We have multiple locations in the US. Our company wanted to cloud based application to manage our contracts, travel and expense. We had a legacy system and wanted to revamp the older system to meet our business requirements. We hired Radiansys to evaluate the current system and work with various business stakeholders. They were the development partners on this project.

We invited several vendors to participate in the RFI process. Radiansys has submitted their tech proposal with the costing. Our team liked their technical solution and the competitive pricing. Further, our team did the reference checks provided by the vendor. We had received outstanding reviews about them and happy that our team engage them on the project.

Radiansys developed a contract, travel and expense management application. We had shared our business requirements and they designed, developed an application using React, NodeJS and Rest APIs.

We had engaged a team of 1 PM manager, 1 Business Analyst, 2 Back end engineers, 1 Front-end engineer, 2 QA Engineers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We were able to cut down contract, expense/reimbursement cycle upto 70-80% which has not only streamlined the process and also able to reduce our overall expenses to a great extent.

Our team added their resource to our JIRA board. We had 3 weeks sprints and their team sized the requirements and met the project deadline. They conducted weekly status report meetings over Zoom. Best part was that all our meeting were conducted in PST time zone.

I’m the founder of a nonprofit organization that provides free computer training to mainly underprivileged elementary and middle school students.

What challenge were you trying to address with Radiansys Inc?
A lot of our processes were still manual. For instance, if someone wanted to participate in our program, we had to manage the registration via email. There wasn’t any software involved and it was proving to be very time-consuming. That is why we turned to Radiansys to develop a portal for us.Â

Radiansys developed a portal for us. Interested students could reach out to us through the platform and the software matches them with the right program coordinators.Â

There were 4–5 people developing the portal. They allocated a project manager, a designer, two software engineers, and a tester.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The portal has helped us cut down on time spent doing manual tasks. It’s streamlined the registration process a lot and has even allowed us to manage some of our back-office workflows. Having previously worked with nonprofit organizations, Radiansys was able to add value to our product. We’re happy with the quality of the work they provided.
How did Radiansys Inc perform from a project management standpoint?
They’ve done a good job of adhering to the timeline and delivering tasks on the dot. We thought that, because we were working with an offshore team, we would need to coordinate with them in the evening. That wasn't necessary, however, since Radiansys made themselves available in our time zone. There was proper coordination throughout, and it was evident that they’re a mature, qualified team.
We added them to our Slack channels and used Jira to manage the project, as per the recommendation.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were very proactive and followed our instructions and requirements really well. There wasn’t a lot of back-and-forth needed. Our communication was great and we were always up to speed on their progress. When we received the final product, all that was left for us to do was validate it, and when we needed some things changed, they openly accommodated our requests free of charge. The whole experience was very smooth and we intend to work with them again.Â
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes to mind. They knew what they were doing.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be clear about what you want their team to do. Radiansys is very willing to help you even if you’re not coming from a technical background. You can leverage their expertise if you need to streamline any technical requirements or identify the best technology for your project.Â

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the president of a company that sells auto insurance. Our products are sold through insurance agents working in retail outlets in Florida and Arizona.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Radiansys Inc?
We wanted to offer our auto insurance online. With the COVID-19 pandemic, we saw a trend where people initiated and completed the whole insurance purchase process online through their computers or mobile phones. As a result, we hired Radiansys to develop software and its user flow; this would help our customers get a quote and purchase insurance online easily.Â
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
When we first called Radiansys, they asked us to put together a requirements document. They asked us to tell them what to do page by page and be as detailed as possible. After putting together the requirements, we went over the document and listened to their team’s inputs. Then, they gave me an estimate of the project’s cost and timeline. When we agreed to their estimates, Radiansys started working on the project.Â
Radiansys handled some design work and the entire development process. We were already interested in doing online sales, so we already had an idea for the platform’s design. Our team also knew what customer questions to address first. We had a rough screen-by-screen design, and the Radiansys team contributed to the look and feel of the page where the questions would appear. The team also had input in terms of the dropdown menus and buttons; they helped us make it easier for our clients to respond to our questions through the layout of the web page. The team also did testing and bug fixes.Â
What is the team composition?
I worked with at least five people from their team. A project manager ensured that resources did things according to our timelines and requirements. Meanwhile, three coders did the heavy lifting in terms of the skillsets they brought from a software development perspective. A UI designer also worked on the project. Moreover, since our software needed to be integrated with third-party apps and our policy management system, we also collaborated with app integration experts.
How did you come to work with Radiansys Inc?
I searched for a number of providers and shortlisted three of them, including Radiansys. Our team worked with each of them as part of the vetting process. We collaborated on specific projects, and at the end of the day, Radiansys stood out on top because Neeraj (CEO & Founder) was personally involved in our project. He had a good understanding of our project so we could talk to him in terms of resolving unforeseen issues. Overall, they gave their full attention to the sample project.Â
Apart from that, Radiansys was willing to charge a fixed price instead of doing billable hours, which could keep going on and on. As a company in the insurance industry, we wanted to get the lowest price without compromising quality. Given that, Radiansys gave us a fixed price estimate, but we agreed to figure out a fair compensation if the scope of work became significantly different from what we originally discussed. In other words, we had trust for each other, and Neeraj was willing to put himself on the line to develop that trust.
Finally, during the sample project, Radiansys’ resources were nice to work with, and my team enjoyed working with them. They were on time so no meetings were canceled. Their members provided good ideas and had a can-do attitude. I could brainstorm ideas with them to know whether they could think of cheaper but better ways to execute my ideas. Overall, we trusted Radiansys and knew that they were flexible and solutions-oriented; they made sure everything was done correctly and at the best possible cost, so we hired them for this project.Â

The overall sales of our insurance policies went up by 20% as a result of adding our online sales component. Moreover, because of this online sales platform, our team could think of more innovative software technology that we could offer. It could help us build on additional ways to capture online sales and customer segments.Â
On top of that, we could offer our products in 10 other states. Previously, we only sold to two states even though we were licensed to do business in 12 states. Because of the online platform that Radiansys developed, we could sell directly to customers in more states rather than appointing agents in those locations.Â
How did Radiansys Inc perform from a project management standpoint?
Radiansys prioritized this project for us and worked hard to deliver according to schedule. The scope of the project changed a bit as we found new things to fix, but they resolved all issues we found. Overall, they delivered and met our expectations.Â
Moreover, most of our communication was through Zoom conference calls. We shared screens at our weekly meetings. Then, we used emails to summarize things; it was our second most frequent means of communication. Finally, when I needed to discuss things with Neeraj, we talked over the phone.Â
What did you find most impressive about them?
Radiansys could develop software at a reasonable cost. Apart from that, their resources had a can-do attitude focused on solving problems; they didn’t get frustrated or perturbed by new challenges or unforeseen issues that emerged along the way. Overall, Radiansys was highly flexible in terms of working through solutions, timelines, and changes in scope.Â
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there weren’t any.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Talk to Radiansys’ clients to get a feel of who they are, and give them a small project. If you’re considering another company, you might want to let a test project determine who to choose. In other words, give them an opportunity to prove themselves. You can always go for a larger company with plenty of management layers, too. However, if you truly focus on results that are done in the most cost-effective way without compromising quality, consider working with Radiansys.Â
