The beta version of the configurator has been delivered on time and helped the client secure new leads and partners. Program-Ace is dedicated to the project, meets deadlines, communicates clearly via Teams, and understands the project very well. Ultimately, the team's work on the project stands out.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Tailor Tech is modernizing the custom textile industry by building a digital ecosystem (ERP, CRM, 3D) that connects all stakeholders, streamlines communication, and reduces the impact of errors.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Program-Ace?
We hired Program-Ace to build our 3D configurator, which is one of the key solutions for our ecosystem.
SOLUTION

What is the team composition?
We work with 6–8 teammates from Program-Ace.
How did you come to work with Program-Ace?
We found Program-Ace through an online search. We chose them because they had more than 30 years in the industry, multiple certifications, and a vast portfolio of clients. Additionally, our first contact with them was great.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in January 2025, and the engagement is ongoing. The team will deliver the V1 in September 2025, but we will continue working with them for the next versions.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The beta version that Program-Ace delivered was a great tool for Vivatech 2025. We got great leads by being able to demonstrate our product. For instance, we got at least two big factories in Europe, a contact with the government of Morocco, and multiple partners. Overall, this has been a really big leap for us.
For context, we’ll be able to begin implementing in Morocco, we’re in discussions with one of the biggest factories in Europe to sell our ecosystem, and we’re working to add partners to our offer.
How did Program-Ace perform from a project management standpoint?
Program-Ace’s project management is more than necessary. They literally worked around the clock to deliver the beta version on time because it was a tight schedule. Moreover, their communication is as clear as it can get. We communicate via Teams.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’ve co-developed the solution with Program-Ace, and we’re well integrated. Most importantly, they love working on our project, and they understand it very well.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The only problems we’ve had have been on our side because we’ve been lacking time.

Program-Ace has developed a 3D drill simulation for a retail company. The simulation has been built from scratch and can be integrated with the client's internal LMS, providing actionable data.
The client has seen success through UX surveys, UAT outcomes, and behavior-based changes. Users have reported ease of navigation, relevance and impact of the simulation, and positive feedback. Program-Ace has identified obstacles and learned with the client throughout the project.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm a senior manager of communications, programs, and platforms at a retail company. Our brands inspire authentic self-expression through our products and experiences, moving people, communities, and fashion forward.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Program-Ace?
We needed help developing a 3D drill simulation to reinforce key response actions for active threat scenarios in retail, distribution, and office environments.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of work done?
Program-Ace has developed a 3D drill simulation to reinforce key response actions for active threat scenarios in retail, distribution, and office environments. The simulation was built from scratch and was capable of integration with our internal LMS and providing actionable data based on user results. The team sourced and developed all assets, environments, project plans, cost structure, implementation and integration, and localization. Program-Ace also presented options, structure, framework, and guidance.
What is the team composition?
We have 5–6 teammates from Program-Ace, including an incredible project manager and analyst.
How did you come to work with Program-Ace?
We found Program-Ace through an online search for 3D and VR content creators. Their website addressed their capabilities and skillsets while highlighting the potential to explore industry-leading opportunities. We met with several vendors, and very few of them met our expectations. The team at Program-Ace confirmed our decision.
What is the status of this engagement?
Initial interactions began in 2023 to scope the project and work through sourcing, legal, infosec, and tech partners. The build began in 2024, and implementation occurred at the beginning of the year. The project is ongoing as we make enhancements and localize the experience for global accessibility.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We've seen success through user experience surveys, UAT outcomes, and behavioral-based changes. Users have reported ease of navigation, relevance and impact of the simulation, and confidence to respond to critical incidents based on the simulation (before/after).
Users were surprised and delighted by this industry-leading simulation. They asked for improved accessibility through translations and additional scenarios to be added and expand the simulation. Users who infrequently play mobile or desktop games took additional time to navigate the simulation. Overall sentiment was incredibly positive.
How did Program-Ace perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management is a strength for the team at Program-Ace. Most delays were due to our team not having the capabilities or skillsets required to hurdle technology integration. Program-Ace identified obstacles while also learning with us. We primarily communicate via email and Zoom.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Program-Ace's capabilities across a broad range of development and design tools and cost-effective solutions for complex issues are impressive. The team took the time to understand our goals in a space that was unknown to them previously.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The only recommendation would be to advise on "better-if" solutions. This was our first time engaging with a vendor to complete this type of work, and creative direction would have been helpful. However, our budget was limited, and I believe the team was respectful of our financial limitations and did not recommend solutions that were outside of our budget at the time.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
We required an app that was easy to use and relaxing, especially for older people, allowing the user to rotate a globe and choose from a large variety of tours in various areas. The globe needed to look visually pleasing. The tours needed to be easy to select, and once selected, there needed to be an easy way to select individual parts of the Tour. For parts of the globe with a large concentration of tours, there needed to be a way to zoom in to see a large number of tours within a small area. Also, it needed to incorporate a specific Unity video plug-in allowing for the Tours to be rendered with high resolution video. Finally, we needed to incorporate 3D videos of actual people talking to act as guides, make people feel welcome, and create a feeling of authenticity. The game engine used was Unity, and we needed to upgrade to the latest version. All the tour content needed to be on the cloud, and easily downloadable onto each customer's headset so that, once loaded, it could be accessed again and again until the user decided to delete it. Also, once downloaded, it needed to work even if the customer temporarily had no internet connection. We also needed to incorporate a basic navigation system for each scene within a Tour, allowing people to move around.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Once completed, the App was really solid and reliable. It worked really well with content on the Cloud. The interface was nice and simple, and pleasing to people we tested it with. A huge plus was the quality of the globe, which looked absolutely sublime, especially when zoomed in. They did a great job balancing quality with a small App size. The panels for the Tour were easy to use an intuitive. They created a lovely vertical slideshow to easily select individual scenes for each Tour. And everything was upgraded to the latest version of Unity. They delivered on time, in fact, ahead of schedule. I was super impressed with the Team who were a pleasure to work with.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
As I already mentioned, they delivered ahead of schedule. If I had specific questions, Vlad would always get back to me within the next day (and there was quite a time difference between Boston and Ukraine). I felt that they actually deeply cared about this project - and that meant a huge amount.
What was your primary form of communication with Program-Ace?
Virtual Meeting
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The people are young, love technology, totally professional, and know their stuff 100%. Initially they were quite reserved but become more outgoing and friendly as I got to know them more. I loved the fact that they asked us for the minimal information to get started, and then just got on with it, delivering results regularly and on time. We could breathe a sign of relief, knowing they were doing the job really well. In addition, working from Ukraine could not have been easy, considering the current situation there. I admired the way they just buckled down and got on with it.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Program-Ace could have done differently?
Not much, really. They did an amazing job. However, I found it sometimes quite hard to understand them. I would encourage all the people in the Team to keep speaking and improving their communication skills as much as possible.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CTO and head of innovation at Spinview. We have a SaaS platform focused on volumetric data capture and display for industries. Our company has offices in several territories, including the US, the UK, Sweden, Serbia, and India.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Program-Ace?
We needed to create a high-performance volumetric data visualization engine.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Program-Ace is helping us build a volumetric visualization app from scratch using Unreal Engine. We use Git for code storage, C++ as the programing language, and Cesium’s plug-in for Unreal Engine, which is for geographical information system mapping. On the delivery side, we use Pixel Streaming architecture and binding between an existing web platform and this new specialized application.Â
We provided a brief with very specific features and functionalities we needed the app to have. Since we’re working with existing infrastructure and architecture, we needed the app to plug into our existing platform. The existing web application provides many of the same features, so Program-Ace is working on feature parity with this existing app and continuity of look and feel. However, the new app will be more high-powered and performative.
Program-Ace has specified the application and is now building it; the aim is to complete the app’s features and connect it with our infrastructure using Pixel Streaming. The application will run on GPU-equipped virtual machines. The output from the app will stream into the browser, and user input will be streamed into the application, allowing for the delivery of workstation-levels of visuals and performance on any thin client.Â
We work with volumetric data types in a few key vertical areas: railroad and building. The app is designed to display these data types on a larger scale than we can accomplish on the web, showing bigger data sets with an improved visual rendering output. The app also has more advanced functionality, such as clipping planes or subdividing a point cloud to save a subset of data.Â
Currently, Program-Ace is building the app’s advanced features and refining its UI/UX. One of the challenges is the size of the data sets, which can be hard to move around. Program-Ace is helping us find a solution to optimize the data storage. Together, we’re building an automated pipeline to put the data through an interim process, converting it into the format we need and putting it in long-term storage.
What is the team composition?
We work with two senior engineers from Program-Ace, plus a project manager.Â
How did you come to work with Program-Ace?
They reached out to us. I had had some previous interactions with Program-Ace outside my role, so I was aware of them. When their contact came in, the timing was good regarding the work we needed to do. I saw they were highly rated from reading reviews, so I contacted them and asked for some candidates to vet. The candidates they provided were top-notch and had the specific skills we needed — Unreal Engine developers, C++ expertise, and volumetric data knowledge.Â
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in May 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?Â
We’re very happy with the results we’ve gotten from Program-Ace; they’ve provided us with a couple of rockstar engineers. For example, we had a design discussion, and I threw out some ideas of things it would be nice to do. They looked at the ideas, and although I assumed it would take 1–2 weeks, they had the feature running the next day.Â
The entire experience has been highly collaborative. Program-Ace takes marching orders in terms of what we need to accomplish; they fit very well into the planning hierarchy of our organization. At the same time, they don’t hesitate to throw out ideas and offer solutions. Still, they acknowledge that we’re the decision-makers and agree with any choice we make.Â
How did Program-Ace perform from a project management standpoint?
We provide project management, and their resources are integrated into our development team, participating in our stand-up meetings and sprint planning. Since they work as part of our team, there aren’t overages in the way that there could be if we were hands-off or had closed-box development. Overall, the team has been very productive and responsive.Â
We use Jira for sprint planning and ticketing and Slack to communicate with the engineers. Additionally, we use Confluence. More broadly, we communicate with Program-Ace through email and Google Meet or Skype meetings for occasional calls with people other than the engineers.Â
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m impressed with Program-Ace’s knowledge of the Unreal Engine environment and what it’s capable of, which we’ve been able to leverage effectively the advanced functionality that we’re looking for. These skills are one of the reasons why we chose them for this project, and they’ve delivered on that.Â
Are there any areas they could improve?
Early in the process, I felt we needed a teammate with a better command of English in the mix because I can sometimes speak quickly, especially if I’m excited. I wanted the Program-Ace team to be comfortable and sensed that one of the engineers wasn’t participating as much. However, it turned out that it was part of getting to know each other. Therefore, I wouldn’t flag that as an issue. Overall, we’re satisfied with Program-Ace.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Get clarity about what kind of infrastructure Program-Ace will provide upfront. Infrastructure needs have come up for our specific team, such as a more perforce tool to manage their binaries and a password management account.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Chief Product Officer at Passage, a platform for interconnected metaverse games and experiences.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Program-Ace?
We hired Program-Ace to help us execute a client project that involved game development, as well as integration with some of our own internal systems to provide a seamless experience for users in-game and on our platform.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We sought a number of bids from full-service teams that could take direction from our team and our client, but ultimately guide us in making smart decisions to reach the best end-product. This is where Program-Ace shined, as we realized early on that they fully understood the important points of the project and quickly identified opportunities to optimize our workflow and the end product to be cost/time efficient and a lot of fun!
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We started with a pre-production phase with Program-Ace that output a GDD. From there we got a couple bids based on the GDD, but knew that Program-Ace had the best understanding of the work needed to accomplish the scope we had settled on. I wouldn't say they were the cheapest option in the bidding phase, but we were confident that the bid was appropriate for the scope and was not bloated with unnecessary team members. After that we started Production and received multiple updates daily from the art and development teams, early builds for feedback and clear communication around billing.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
3 Unreal developers
Unreal tech lead
Blockchain developer
3 3D artists
3D animator
UI/UX designer
QA engineer
DevOps
Game designer
Project Manager
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Program-Ace executed on-time and on-budget throughout the project. There were a few pivots we needed to make on the tech side, but we felt we were properly informed about any cost impact that those changes would have before decisions were made. The art for the project was really well beyond what we had expected for the project. We had given some aspirational references, but their team came back with something that really blew us away. Our client was thrilled also! When you go to a full-service team there is sometimes an expectations you'll need to make compromises on things like art quality and that was NOT the case here. We couldn't be happier with the visuals.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The team at Program-Ace speaks/writes very good English, which made working with them smooth and easy. They were very good about following up when they had unanswered questions or needed something from our side, but it always felt like progress was being made. The only thing that we could've done better was keeping to our weekly meeting schedule. The reality is that they often weren't needed because progress was so consistent, but that was one area where we often had meetings scheduled that were cancelled last second or not attended.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The way they executed our project was truly impressive and beyond our expectations. The proficiency in programming is exactly why we selected them, but their ability to execute a very unique, consistent art style will make us a repeat customer for years to come.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
As mentioned, I think the only area for improvement would be around weekly meetings and getting clearer goals/standards around those meetings. Something worth noting is that this project took place in the midst of the conflict with Russia and Ukraine, which impacted some of our meetings. Overall we experienced almost no delays in our project despite team members being directly impacted by the conflict. They took their responsibility to us incredibly seriously, even in the midst of those awful events.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the COO of a non-profit game application. We’ve developed a game platform for people to play on and for non-profits to receive donations. Players can donate money through the games to these organizations.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Program-Ace?
We needed software development services.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had all the ideas and specifications at the start, and Program-Ace has helped us to program all the functions through frontend development, backend development, a bit of business analysis, DevOps, and project management. The deliverable is the code and the program.
The work is done in Vue.js and JavaScript, and they also interact with Firebase database technology. We have our own internal designer butthey’ve contributed to that aspect of the platform as well.
We have a live working website with a catalog of games that we have licensing for; we don’t’ develop games, but we have the rights to games. There is also a fundraising mission capability that allows users to raise money for their chosen non-profit across games. When a user signs up, they choose an organization to support; they can also share the organization and invite their friends to join the mission, forming a team and a team goal.
What is the team composition?
It’s differed over time and according to need, but we normally have between 5–8 people including a frontend developer, a backend developer, a team lead, a designer, a DevOps resource, a business analyst, and a project manager.
How did you come to work with Program-Ace?
The founder of our company received a recommendation from a friend. We exchanged thoughts and decided that Program-Ace would be the best solution because of their offerings, their professional ability, and their cost.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $65,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since May 2021.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?Â
We’re holding the first MVP with all the main functionalities and we’re about to go live. When feedback comes in from users and nonprofit organizations, we’ll pass that on to Program-Ace.
How did Program-Ace perform from a project management standpoint?
There were a few communication problems with the developers initially due to a language barrier but Program-Ace did everything in their power to resolve them. We’ve reached a good communication flow.
We use Trello and Slack to communicate, as well as video calls. An agile working method has helped us speak to whoever we need in the group. If I have a question that applies to multiple teams, I speak to the project manager.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Program-Ace has been keen to help us and for the project to succeed, doing what they can to accommodate our customers.
Are there any areas they could improve?
If you’re working on an international project, be prepared to cross a bit of a language barrier.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be clear with your direction and delivery dates. Ask for regular updates directly from the developers.

Program-Ace provides AR/VR and 360 video development services for a digital solutions company. Their work includes the creation of 3D assets for AR/VR environments as well as developing mobile and web apps.
The company has been happy with Program-Ace’s work. End customers are pleased with the realism of the AR/VR environments that the team has created. They can also jump into a project with flexibility while coming up with alternative ideas for the business. Overall, the engagement has been a success.Â

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of product development at Lampada Digital Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hull University. Much of our work involves digital projects for the commercialization of the intellectual property (IP) coming out of the university. We also undertake projects directly with customers.Â
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Program-Ace?
Our company provides AR/VR and 360 videos, including their content, to our customers. However, when we get an influx of work while our team is busy on other projects, we engage Program-Ace to help us with those extra projects. We also give them full projects, so they don’t only work alongside us on existing tasks.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
The Program-Ace handles anything from 3D assets to the rigging of scenes in animations. For instance, one of our projects involves recreating environments to help end users familiarize themselves with a specific environment. Due to the confidential nature of our projects, it’s quite tricky to discuss any specific details. In any case, their team develops the animations and assets we need using Unity, and many of their tasks include 3D modeling.
At present, we’re engaging them on two opportunities where we need their developers for our own projects. We’re currently in conversations with them about the tasks. However, these projects aren’t for the VR space. Instead, they involve mobile and web apps.Â
What is the team composition?
We work with a couple of project managers, while their development team consists of 5–6 people.Â
How did you come to work with Program-Ace?
We found them on LinkedIn, and we talked to them about the work we did around the IP commercialization space. Our team also looked at their work; they had some interesting products in the mixed reality space. We then had a chat with them to understand their work.Â
Meanwhile, we found ourselves in a position where there was an overflow of projects and we couldn’t handle them by ourselves. As a result, we reached out to them and explained our situation, asking them if they could help us. They said yes. On top of that, they were competitively priced and had high-quality work. Overall, we felt that we had a good relationship, so we started working with them.Â
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $60,000.Â
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Program-Ace in November 2020, and the partnership is ongoing.Â
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?Â
Since our projects involve 360 videos and the recreation of environments, our success metrics focus on the quality of realism within the digital environments that Program-Ace creates. So far, our customers are truly pleased with the quality of the team’s work. The Program-Ace team also delivers on time even when we have tight timeframes. Overall, we’ve had highly successful projects with them.Â
How did Program-Ace perform from a project management standpoint?
Program-Ace’s project management has been great. We use the agile methodology in our work, and that doesn’t lend itself well to the timelines and milestones we have. Fortunately, Program-Ace works well and keeps us up to date with their progress. As soon as they finish a particular section of a project, they send it for review. Simply put, we have a fast-paced feedback loop, and they finish the videos we need within our required timescales. Their process of delivering the project is also great.Â
We don’t use any project management tools because we don’t have a lot of time for preparation. Rather, we jump into the project; we have to do that if we want to have a chance at hitting our timelines. That way, we can send a prototype to the client within a few days, and we go from there. Program-Ace works well with this process.Â
What did you find most impressive about them?
Program-Ace is happy to take our project brief, but they also have enough creativity to come up with alternatives using different ideas. As a result, we have a collaborative partnership where our teams both come up with ideas. Then, we chat about those ideas to know what’s best for the project. Simply put, they use a collaborative approach and have highly creative people.Â
Moreover, working with them is easy. Other partners take things literally, and we don’t get what we ask for if we’re not specific. By contrast, Program-Ace resources are flexible and willing to propose better solutions if they don’t see such solutions in the project brief. In other words, they always work to improve the deliverable. Overall, the team truly works hard to deliver high-quality products.Â
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any. We’ve had a challenging project before, but it was because of the customer and not Program-Ace. Simply put, that project was not achievable or realistic. We tried many ways to achieve it, but it simply wasn’t achievable partly because of the customer’s budget.Â
