This gives us a good overview about what was being done everyday and keep track of time and work.

We are an Australian tech startup called Wevention. Our current product is Yupi (yupi.com.au) - social dating network. I am a co-founder and CEO.

We have selected ProductCrafters our of 10 different candidates because of their skillset, service costs and pricing model. Another benefit - they are flexible in terms of communication, working arrangements and business hours frame.

We had a general manager (Oleg Kalyta), Project Manager, QA analyst and front-end developer (different developers at different development stages)

The product has been developed from scratch within 24 month including pivots and changes. We have got an integration approval from facebook and instagram.

They are quite flexible and offer different models - out-staff & our-source - depends on project capacity and goals.

Very fast adoption, good drive and ownership as well as ideas initiative. They were flexible, and it was easy to work with them on a day-to-day basis.

Better service coverage in the 'end-to-end' format so the business is cared at every point.

My project was designed to help stock buyers choose the best stocks on the market.

I was needed a technical implementation of formulas I have on paper.

How did you select this vendor?

I found them on Product Hunt. The team launched an MVP Challenge where they were looking for non-tech people who wanted to start a startup.

They developed a backend for the project. The goal was to grab all the financial information from APIs, calculate metrics and put them onto the site.

What was the team composition?

The project manager was responsible for all the communication. I also had a few talks with a tech lead to better describe what I need in person.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

They helped me launch the project I can now monetize.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project management was great. We launched within 3 weeks from the first contact. We communicated by Google Hangouts and stored code on Bitbucket.

Their speed was the most valuable thing for me.

I wanted to create a useful tool that I could sell to businesses.

I received a recommendation from an engineer.

Product Crafters handles all development and design tasks. Serving as a turnkey provider, the team also manages the servers.

I work with five people from Product Crafters including the project manager.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

As an offshore vendor, Product Crafters has saved me hundreds of thousands of dollars compared to the cost of domestic firms. Also, their great suggestions have made the software better.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The team provided daily progress reports. I have weekly one-on-one Skype video calls with the project manager.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The team has honest billing practices and creates incredible value for the cost.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

I know they are in high demand already. Over time, I worry they will become too busy to work on my projects.
