We first wanted Pragmatic to review an existing contract and code base that a previous development firm had delivered. The goal was to review code quality and areas we could reduce technical debt before proceeding with new components. We then moved on with an updated contract and new pieces to our web3 game that was linked to the attributes of the NFTs minted. They developed the minting mechanism and other on-chain functionality to successfully round out the MVP of our project.

Pragmatic is very professional in communication and project management. They respond quickly to questions and communicate clear timelines. Software is full of surprises and they do a good job of managing expectations and communicating unexpected things promptly (and finding resolutions).

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We're impressed with their excellent communication and deep subject matter expertise. Even working with very novel technologies - when they weren't immediately sure of something they were transparent about that and quickly investigated to find the needed answers.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Pragmatic DLT could have done differently?

As the project progressed we did stray a bit from clear deliverable planning and timelines. This is as much our responsibility as it was theirs as we shifted to small, ongoing pieces of work that were more fluidly communicated and delivered - but, I will be looking to get into more consistent project rhythms with them as our work together scales back up (which they have demonstrated they are able to do).

Y-Productive is a productivity tracking application for Mac and Windows. I'm the CEO and co-founder.

They consulted on our blockchain technology. 

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to evaluate how blockchain could help us store user data securely.

How did you select this vendor?

We had a recommendation. After few calls and sessions, we liked their expertise and pragmatic approach.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

The scope wasn't broad, we turned with exact question. Pragmatic DLT facilitated a solution discovery session and proof of concept development with designed technical architecture.

What was the team composition?

We mainly communicated with the COO. Their team included three people. During the solution discovery session, we worked with the COO and CTO. During the proof of concept phase, we communicated with the СTO and a Solidity developer.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The biggest risk my customers face is data security. Blockchain solves this issue.

We used Agile methodology and reviewed progress weekly. It was incredibly transparent and effective.

I appreciated their pragmatic approach. They clearly explained why we don't need blockchain in every case.
