The key thing for us is ensuring we have a professional website suitable for the stage we’re at as a startup. There are areas where we don't know what we need, and Percepto has guided us through social media in addition to the website.

Project management has been excellent. They’ve delivered ahead of time.

I like their personal side. The project is a partnership instead of a transaction.

They should raise their profile. Percepto does a fantastic job, so it’d be helpful for other companies to understand the job they do. I’m not sure they advertise themselves, and the more people know about Percepto, the better.

Be upfront. If you’re a startup, make it known that you’re a startup. Some companies try to come across as larger than what they are. You'll get better feedback if you’re honest about what you are.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Mini tender, after briefing companies I met with them and from the very first meeting I could tell Percepto proved the best listening and understanding challenges of my company.

Since Exclusive Worldwide wanted to get in the Israeli market, the first thing Percepto did is go over the Hebrew version we had on our main website, edit it add new texts and fixing it from design perspective. Then we decided to create a website that is mainly for the Israeli market, with specific case studies and well targeted texts. Percepto created the texts in Hebrew and English and then implemented the Hebrew version in the new website.

Percepto also created a brochure which I can send to my potential clients and partners. The process with the brochure and the mini site was the same – first, they heard in details about our needs, then they came out with content and design strategy, and after we approved it, they implemented it. The results were brilliant!

After this phase started the phase of writing press releases and articles about Exclusive, in order to raise awareness about our company. They are thinking of ideas for this articles, brainstorm internally and with our team and also they think about the right websites and ways to promote them.

Revised content on the company's website, created new digital content, published articles - all to bring us closer to the target audience. In addition, Paul acting as the company's spokesperson.

We hired Percepto to increase our online presence on different websites. Many of our investors like what we do but often ask that we communicate more about ourselves. In collaboration with Percepto, Invescap now publishes frequent articles on blogs and professional social networks.

After explaining the goal our we wished to achieve, Percepto developed a strategy to increase online marketing. First, they suggested how content should be structured and presented online. They did an analysis of the websites where content should be made available to optimize visibility to our target audience. Percepto then created content based in information provided by our company. On an ongoing basis, Percepto monitored how the articles were performing online and compiled statistics. They provided us frequently with a summary of how the marketing strategy is doing.

We have been in touch with the Percepto's CEO as well as other members of the executive management. They are our point of contact at Percepto.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The ongoing work is proving to be effective. Our online presence has grown considerably and potential investors have now a better understanding of what we do and why we do it.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have frequent contact with Percepto. In some instances, our company receives a list of questions from which an article or post will be created. Otherwise, they contact us either to know which topic should be covered by their content or provide us a list of themes to choose from. Once an article is ready to be published they send us the draft for approval.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The quality of Percepto's work is outstanding. The articles they publish on our behalf are always relevant to what we do. Percepto has a very well understood our business activity and are able to create content independently. Moreover, the outlets for the content are well curated. Hence, articles or blog posts are usually seen by our target public. In addition, new solutions based on their review of the marketing strategy are constantly brought up and prove to be relevant.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

None whatsoever. Up to now, Percepto has suggested us improvements which we would not have thought up. Since Invescap focuses on providing best-in-class investment solutions to investors, marketing knowledge is pretty basic. With Percepto, we not only have excellent work but also an expert in digital marketing who can advise us.

We are an Israeli startup company which revolutionises the tax-free shopping process for non-EU tourists visiting the EU. In a market which is worth over 20B Euro yearly, and is dominated by a single giant monopoly, and is characterised by a high and hidden commission structure, our company set out to bring the power of choice to the travellers, fighting the dominant monopoly, and lowering commissions by as much as 90%. Our company was founded in June 2017, and I have been its COO as of June of 2018 and until the present.

For what projects/services did your company hire Percepto, and what were your goals?

As our market is highly regulated, being a financial-related industry, we need to engage each EU government separately, as tax-free shopping is managed on the country level and not dictated from Brussels.

With our first post-COVID launch being Greece, we turned to Percepto to assist us with making our brand known to the relevant stakeholders and decision makers in the Greek market, with the aim of being known within the Greek political circles and establishing ourselves as the experts on digital tax-free shopping, and establishing our reputation with other relevant stakeholders.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We were referred to Percepto through connections we have in the industry a few years ago, and were impressed by the experience they bring, but that didn't materialise as the project we were involved in didn't happen due to COVID, so when we needed a company with their abilities mid-2021, we approached them.

Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.

As the project went on for almost a year, as well as for commercial reasons, I cannot describe in detail the entire project and deliverables, but as an overall they both handled our direct PR activity, creating objectives, media strategy, reaching various tier 1 & 2 media outlets etc. As well as the above, they were responsible for our indirect stakeholder outreach through various tools and services.

On a daily basis we worked directly with their customer success manager, who was our account manager, as well as with their CEO on the one hand, and their PR expert on the other.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since working with them, we managed to up our presence in the relevant markets, to appear in tier 1 media outlets, and to create better marketing and PR tools which we continue to use today. Due to the early stage our startup is in, we didn't look for quantitative KPIs, and were very pleased with the qualitative KPIs, which we mostly based on how familiar the governments we wanted to work with are with our solution.

From our side they were spot-on. Most of the communication was by email, but when things called for an immediate reaction, we had a WhatsApp group with them which made things seamless and easy. They were very approachable.

Their willingness to succeed and to think outside the box to achieve that. Everyone was impressed with their "can do" attitude and their ability to work flexible hours and to bring great results.

From our side they performed exactly as expected.

We gave the team the background of our field and then after their own research, they showed us the strategy they believed will work. They created the online assets, wrote the content and we approved it. They would also join us on our team meetings once a month to update on the progress and to give their ideas about the ongoing activity we had.

There was a client manager that was in touch with us all the time. head of content, content editor and content writer who helped us with all the complicated content aspects of the activity (it's a specific niche). A web designer who built and designed the websites we had.

The blog they created for us got a lot of quality traffic and ranked well on some important search results. There were also 3rd party articles that were promoted and ranked on several of our important search results.

They were very professionals, giving us updates on an ongoing basis, and in the beginning of each month we got a written report. We were working mainly with our client manager that managed all the other team work.

Needed to build a much wider online presence, which would overcome some negative news that was planned to come up regarding our company. We met Percepto 6 or 7 months before the results of a court case were to be decided and we had time to plan ahead.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I found them online. I also saw a few companies in the USA, but i reached out to Percepto because we are in the same country. They were very professional in their initial discussion with me.

The project entailed a plan and required us to come up with the subject matter of what content or subjects they would fill the internet with.

There was 1 guy in charge of my project. I believe all in all there were 3 people working, some external. A customer liaison - who oversaw the infrastructure build and planning of how to target A external writer that wrote the articles I think someone else also, not sure, I met different people, but don't remember other than the CEO and the customer liaison.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was 100% SUCCESS. We lost the court case, the negative news came out and was published in multiple newspapers internationally. As much google ranking as the major global newspapers achieve - such as the Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, Percepto's planning, creation of mulitple online assets, with much content worked. The result was the negative news was initially filled up the entire google search on the first and second pages.

In about 2 weeks, the good web sites that Percepto launched started to get back to the first page on google (when searching for our company name) After a month , almost all the negative news was on page 2, and after about 3 months everthing was on page 3 and further down the pages. We kept the program with Percepto going for more than 2 years after the one negative court case news came out.

Very good. In the planning phase we had maybe two , one hour meetings. After that we met once every 3 months for an update and presentation on the new assets and the ranking and planning ahead

Everything they said they would do they did.

Since I understand a little how google and seo works, i understood what they were doing. But otherwise, it would be nice to get more of an explanation, first it's interesting and second you like to know

Our clients are satisfied with the deliverables, and they’ve given us positive feedback. My colleagues have noticed their work and are interested in hiring them as well. We’ve seen an increase in engagements for our clients on social media thanks to their quick and clever delivery.

Project management is perfect, professional, and creative. We communicate through WhatsApp and have meetings at the beginning and end of each week. Throughout the engagement, they’ve been available and responsive.

They’re pricey but worth it. In our current project, they could engage with the client more.

Listen to them. You may think their ideas are too clever or creative to work, but if you let them do what they know, you’ll see that it works.

What challenge were you trying to address with Percepto?

There were a few points —mainly in the digital area— that we wanted to address to better position ourselves on social media.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, we provided context and technical documentation about our products so that they could understand them better. Percepto put together a strategic plan about our digital awareness and position. This included market analysis and recommendations. We then had the implementation phase, during which they worked on a few topics. For our website, they rewrote the content and redesigned it — they dealt with the logo, messages, and the whole design.

They’ve also crafted our message to deliver it in a more effective way on our social media platforms, whether it’s LinkedIn, Facebook, or MySpace. From time to time, we put together articles; they help us to write and publish them.

Our company and product awareness have increased. We’ve had a few good articles in technical and technological newspapers, as well as on social media. Before, not many people knew about us. Now, when we speak to clients, they already know about us.

Their project management is really professional. They follow up on a weekly basis, and we have biweekly conference calls when they bring up ideas on how to improve things. We mostly talk over the phone, but we also use Zoom and emails.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve really helped us to put out a better message for our product and communicate it in a much better way. It isn’t a simple process since we’re in a very competitive market, so they’ve done a good job at creating the message and the strategy around it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

If they were stronger on the economic press side and could push more articles in economic newspapers, that would serve us more.

Any advice for potential customers?

I would really emphasize the importance of preparation work. Put time and effort into it — mention whatever you can about the company, its market, its competitors, and anything relevant to the business. That way, they will come to you with the best plan.
