We hired Pace Wisdom Solutions as our DevOps consultant to improve the reliability, speed, and security of our engineering operations. Their goal is to stabilize our infrastructure and deployments, strengthen our CI/CD pipelines, set up better monitoring and incident response, standardize our environment and release processes through documentation and infrastructure-as-code, and optimize cloud performance and costs so our team can ship changes faster with fewer failures and less operational firefighting.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Pace Wisdom Solutions has conducted a DevOps audit and created a roadmap. They have reviewed our existing infrastructure, CI/CD, and release practices and delivered a prioritized improvement plan. The team has also worked on CI/CD and deployment hardening by building and optimizing pipelines, standardizing environments, and improving release and rollback processes to reduce failures and speed up shipping. Additionally, they have implemented monitoring, logging, and alerting and provided runbooks and knowledge transfer for incident handling and day-to-day operations.
