Our process is built on two things: developer autonomy and constant contact with you. We give our developers room to make the technical calls and explore the product, because the people closest to the code usually know best how to build it. On your side, we talk to you every single day, so you always know what's being built and nothing turns into a surprise. We start by planning what we're going to build and walk you through it feature by feature. Nothing gets made until you've looked at that piece and said "go." Once you do, we build it through to the finish, then move to the next part the same way. You stay in the loop the whole time, and the developers stay free to do their best work.

Communication is daily and direct. We text you every day with what's being built and where things stand, so you're never left guessing between updates. Once a week we get on a call to step back and look at the bigger picture: what shipped, what's next, and any decisions that need your input. The daily texts keep the work transparent in real time. The weekly call is where we talk through progress and direction together. Same idea as the rest of how we work, we tell you the truth about the project at every step, so there are no surprises when you look at what's done.

Onboarding starts with a conversation. The first call is where you tell us about the project and we dig into your needs and goals. It's also where we check fit, both ways. We're open about that, if we're not the right team for what you're building, we'll say so, because the work goes better when the match is real. If it's a fit, we go away and build you a proposal at no cost. We bring it to a second meeting and walk you through exactly what we'll build, how we'll approach it, and what it costs, with room to adjust until it's right. Once you give the go-ahead, we sign an agreement and take an upfront deposit, and from there the Build Process begins, with the daily updates and weekly calls that carry through the rest of the project.
