A client from Dortmund approached Netrocket to develop an online store in the German language for the sale of fabrics. Promotion of narrowly focused, regional sites is always a challenge for the SEO and intense competition for each keyword in the TOP.
Therefore, when a company providing flat renovation services contacted me, I carefully analyzed the existing traffic and saw that more than 50% of users browse the site from mobile devices.
Our actions
I’ve decided to implement AMP pages, which was done in April 2020. I made sure that the download speed is at a very high level.
Results
At the moment, traffic to AMP pages accounts for 16% of the total traffic to the site and 42% of free mobile traffic.
Conclusions

We launched a YouTube ad. We identified the most effective audiences. Received 296 applications in 10 months.
Task
In May 2020, a Ukrainian company servicing industrial electronics contacted Netrocket. We've customized ads for all relevant keywords. And we faced limitations in scaling ads in search:
Firstly, in the niche of industrial electronics repair, the main commercial keys have a low frequency of requests - 30-50 per month.
Secondly, the competition is high and the cost of a click at the top for some keywords can be 30 UAH.
Solution
After analyzing the situation, we decided to launch an advertisement on YouTube. This was due to several factors:
The company already had its own YouTube channel, where the client posted the video.
A professional commercial was shot and published on the channel, but before that it was not used in advertising.
The client offers a complex and specific service, which is much easier to tell about in a video than to demonstrate it on an advertising banner.
An added bonus of running YouTube ads is increasing brand awareness.
Results
In total, during the work on the project, we received 296 applications from YouTube ads, and the cost of conversion was 186.77 UAH. The most effective audiences for advertising were Business Technologies and Industrial Products. These audiences brought in the most conversions. When we got enough data, we launched YouTube remarketing audiences to multiple audiences (watched YouTube videos and visited the site) with the new video.

Setting up contextual advertising in the field of legal services aimed at passenger rights — the Myflyright project
In 2017, on the recommendation of our foreign clients, the Myflyright company turned to our agency.
Before our cooperation, the main source of clients was the traditional offline marketing — the advertisement in airports. As for online marketing, in June 2017 Myflyright used a single-page website (Landing Page), and a Google Express account.
It was necessary to perform a professional setup of contextual advertising in Google search.

All the experiments and hypotheses proposed by us always received the positive feedback from the client. Besides, it is the client who helps us find the best solutions in many work processes, starting from phrasing the search queries and to defining the optimal budgets.

Targeted advertising on Facebook and Instagram for the event in the field of plastic surgery
Our client, Svitlana Rabotenko, is a plastic surgeon with 15-year work experience, a practicing author of unique techniques of performing breast enlargement operations in “Vidnova” clinic. Our task was to attract potential clients to the event while launching the advertisement in a very short time, and gather the necessary number of visitors for the meeting.
Immediately after we had launched the advertising campaign on Facebook / Instagram and Google, we faced the advertising blocking issue.
What was the problem? The difficulty consisted in the peculiarity of the topic. Plastic surgery advertising is not banned, but there are Facebook’s rules and requirements. We started testing our assumptions: changed the text on the landing page and in the advertisement, tested various creative concepts, removed all words connected with surgery, operations and anaesthesia. As a result, this improved the coverage and the correct work of the advertising campaign.
In order to improve the advertising effectiveness, we advised to make a video invitation from the first-person perspective and launch the advertisement on Youtube. Such method raised the trust of the TA.
We had analyzed the effectiveness of the advertising campaigns and decided to disable the lead generating advertising, and redirect the budget to the campaign for conversions on Facebook/Instagram, as it showed the best result.

What was done
1. Google Ads
First of all, we conducted an audit of advertising accounts. As a result, it was decided to disable all current campaigns and launch new ones. Then PPC specialists collected all available semantics for the main commercial queries and competitors, and excluded keywords that historically did not bring conversions.
In search ad campaigns, we used exact match keywords.
2. Facebook/Instagram
- We left the most effective placements: Facebook and Instagram feeds.
- Made several look-alike audiences with different settings.
- Set up remarketing on a separate landing page.

The website optimization strategy included: redesigning, simplifying the structure, reducing the number of pages, working on the blog and internal linking. Priority pages were supported by referral links.
What was done
- The template the site ran on in 2021 looked outdated. Refused to buy a new template and relocation. Decided to refresh the colors, styles and buttons, give the site a more modern look.
- The site structure looked too bloated. Many individual services were no longer provided by the client. The main focus is on integrated turnkey works. Therefore, we decided to shorten the site structure, completely abandon dozens of pages and set up redirects. The expected traffic decline is clearly visible on the chart in December 2021. Some pages have been redesigned and moved to the blog in order to maintain weight and targeted traffic.

What challenge were you trying to address with Netrocket?
We wanted to expand our website since we only had 1–2 landing pages. That’s when we looked for someone to design our website and make it more SEO-friendly.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Netrocket designed and developed our website from scratch. We wanted it to be on WordPress, but found that it wasn’t optimal for speed so instead, our developers recommended using OpenCart — an e-commerce site. This platform enables visitors to purchase our products directly from our site. Apart from the development of our website, they also provided researched appropriate keywords and our competitors, while we took care of proofreading.
Moreover, they provide us with link building and other technical tasks to make the website more SEO-friendly. They made the SEO structure for our website with categories, sub-categories, and product pages there must be, and how it was going to be displayed on the website.
They currently prepare our content plans while working on the final version of the website. However, this version is not open for indexing at the moment, because we’re in process of writing new content together for the website — they’re preparing the text according to the SEO requirements.
