I’m the VP of marketing and business development at a manufacturing company. We manufacture high-accuracy, match-grade projectiles for long-range shooting.

At the highest level, we wanted to grow our DTC business. More specifically, we wanted new websites with vastly improved UI and UX. We also wanted to automate some internal processes with our ERP system.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mira Commerce built our new websites from scratch. They onboarded us with BigCommerce multi-storefronts. We now have new websites, custom filtering, improved layout, automated transactional emails, and custom layouts for PLPs and PDPs.

What is the team composition?

We have around five people supporting the new website building under me.

How did you come to work with Mira Commerce?

We found Mira Commerce through a referral. We had a report with Sergei (CEO), and we liked their portfolio. We liked every site they built and thought they understood what we were interested in the best.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in September 2024, and the project is still ongoing. We’re moving forward in multiple phases and are currently in phase two.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Mira Commerce has helped us lay out all of our data in a manner that not only helps us with our website development but also with our overall product portfolio. It was easily one of the best experiences with an outside service provider I've ever been a part of.

How did Mira Commerce perform from a project management standpoint?

We had very little internal motivation or data in a consolidated manner. Mira Commerce held us to task with an amazing project manager, Ash (Senior Project Manager), with dedicated timelines and action items. Communication is primarily through phone and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Mira Commerce knew nothing about our business but threw themselves into it to learn. They did this to help us identify what would be most important and impactful to our consumers.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing I can come up with.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Every challenge we ran into was fixed and addressed by the Mira Commerce team. We had a few technical challenges with our products and some website framework issues. The team identified where the challenges started and put together a plan to fix the issues. They also made some adjustments themselves.

We tracked all project-based metrics weekly on Jira. Each new objective was listed as a sprint, and the results were tracked in each sprint. The objectives included the initial site transfer, PDP page setup, product information transfer, analytics setup, PLP page implementation, and more. These objectives were integral to our business continuing to run smoothly and efficiently.

There was no downtime on our website, and we continued to use the website as expected. Our customers loved the new look and feel of the website. They specifically liked the ease of use and the overall look of the new website.

How did Mira Commerce perform from a project management standpoint?

The project management was fantastic. Mira Commerce delivered on time and responded well to our needs. We had the best communication we’ve experienced working with a collaborator. We used Slack, email, and Jira for communication.

After designing our e-commerce website, we desired further customization to our programs and print category pages. We also needed an upsell pop-up on specific PDPs. FInally, we needed to add a zoom feature on the product images on the PDP.
