Retail and online pharmacy and telemedicine provider. We are a cash only self pay pharmacy. Which means we do not take insurance and don’t contract with any middlemen saving our customers a significant amount of money.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Media Contour to accomplish?

• As a new start up, our first goal was to establish an online presence where people could learn more about our new business model, and get contact information to reach out to us.
• Once we started to grow, our aim was to expand our footprint by offering an e-commerce solution to new customers to find us on line, see a physician via telemedicine, obtain prescriptions on line, and have them shipped to their homes. All of this can now be done on our website.

The project started as a new website built to help NextRX establish an online presence. Media Contour helped us refine, test and optimize our messaging to help us get set up to launch our WOO COMMERCE store and telemedicine services. They we able to help us get accredited through NABP and acquire our .pharmacy URL, which allowed us to move forward with our e-commerce store. 

While working on the accreditation, they built out our e-commerce store and created a unique conversion funnel and UX that helps visitors easily up understand the journey and intuitively know how to convert without giving it any thought. They now continue to optimize and improve the conversion funnel and UX though there conversation optimization services.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

There were a lot of roadblocks and complexities throughout the entire project. Media Contour continued to find ways around and through them to help our business launch its new business model that would disrupt the healthcare industry. 

This included navigating uncharted technologies, processes, and more. They were able to put it all together and launch our telemedicine and e-commerce website. Now that we have a website that conveys the value we offer to our patients along with a UX that allows patients to easily navigate a complex process. We expect significant increases in our business.

Media contour was always just a phone call or email away. We were able to sink up and communicate with them frequently. And they provided clear feed back to our team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The Media Contour team has a great deal of adaptability to the project's changing needs. Due to hippa and other constraints with our internal software, we had to pivot several times and figure our unique solutions to unexpected problems. Media contour handled this in stride and helped us resolve the issues and accomplish our original goals.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Media Contour could have done differently?

No, this was a unique project and we will continue to work with them as our business evolves. This is a complex and challenging project with new uncharted situations.

I am the founder of Dandurand Drug Company, a chain of independent retail, long-term care, and compounding pharmacies that include unique boutique gift stores established in 1976.

We were using a pharmacy-specific out-of-box website solution that made our brand look very cookie-cutter. We are well known in the area for our quality of service and, in particular, our unique high-end gift boutique. We're not your average independent pharmacy.

Not only did we need a website that matched our brand, but we also needed an online eCommerce presence so that we could begin to sell online locally, grow, and eventually sell nationally.

We selected Media Contour because of their proven track record of success, ability to identify exact needs and areas of focus, creative problem-solving, and tailored solutions to exact problems. More specifically, they knew eCommerce and how to facilitate awareness and convert that into sales.

Their strict timeline and dedication to high-quality work products were also deciding factors. We felt they would be the perfect partner to help our company reach its goals.

We met with Media Contour to discuss our project, our concerns, and both our short-term and long-term goals. During initial consultation meetings, they asked question that really drilled down into what makes us different from other pharmacies. They listed to our answers and created a website tailored to our needs. We went through a content creation process. Met with videographers to craft our story and how we fit into and support our community.

We wanted to convey our values and highlight what makes us different not only from traditional pharmacies but from other independent pharmacies. We met with photographers, to discuss product shots, in-store shots, staff photos and external photos, there was so much that went into this project. We sat down with the content writers for web copy and the web designers for the website. At the end of it all we were left with a stunning website that perfectly blended modern design and usability with the needs of an independent pharmacy and unique store.

On top of that, we had a spectacular video that we used on the website and for local TV spots. We had assets for the site as well as social media, and a roadmap for images and content going forward. Since launching the new site, we've seen increased customer engagement, faster loading times, and a more cohesive brand presence online. We're proud of our work with Media Contour and believe it has set us up for success in the future.

We worked with various team members all the way from the CEO and VP of Operations to our Project Manager, and various web designers, developers, and videographers who would then turn our vision into reality.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Media Contour was able to significantly improve our Google Search rankings for all of our focus keywords. Additionally, we are now selling in 20 states nationally and continue to expand. We have been working with them for over a decade.

Media Contour has a very "hands on" management style with frequent communications and updates at least on a weekly basis.

The Media Contour team continues to provide value by evolving our strategy to get better. They do a fantastic job of understanding our needs and are passionate about getting us the results we wanted.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, they were very professional, thorough and very understanding of our unique needs and industry. We've been very pleased with the results achieved.

Media Contour was hired to (1) improve the existing website, create content, implement an SEO strategy, analyze competition, identify geographical markets, teach and instruct the client regarding the use of SEO to increase website traffic as well as converting clicks to client inquiries and business. The goal was to achieve the #1 ranking for certain keyword searches.

I selected this vendor based on a prior relationship going back approximately twenty years. The deciding factor was their prior performance.

Work details include but are not limited to: website creation, color schemes, logos, photos, art, infographics, overall website design, a lot of education about the process, SEO and optimization work, "back end" and link work, blogging, content and graphic design.

Three people worked on the project including the CEO and VP of Operations.

The goals and objectives of the assignment have been achieved including #1 ranking on Google and other search engines. The website is fantastic and it has resulted in new business. The amount of business generated has exceeded the fees paid to the service provider.
