Our company is DENTMASTERS, INC., we are a paintless dent removal company and we remove dents from cars. I’m the owner of the company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Maxim Liberty, Inc.?
We needed a company that would handle our bookkeeping and accounts. Our accounts are not up to speed and we struggled to keep track of our accounts.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Maxim Liberty, Inc. handles our accounting needs with QuickBooks online. Their team keeps records of our bills and takes care of our general accounting needs.
We’ve contracted their services to maintain our balance sheets and keep our profits up to speed. Their team enters the data for us to help us in reconciliations for the seven bank accounts that we have.
What is the team composition?
We’re not sure how many people are on the team but we have a direct contact person from their end. Every inquiry and concerns go through one person.
How did you come to work with Maxim Liberty, Inc.?
We did our research and found the owner of the company. The owner was willing to meet with me face to face to discuss the matters. After that, we felt confident in their services and its benefits for our company so we went with them. Also, the pricing is very reasonable.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve already invested roughly $6,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The ongoing engagement started in January 2020. We love working with them and we're not going anytime soon.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We base their success on the looks of our QuickBooks online. Since we’ve been in business for almost 30 years now, we know how those would work and with them, it has been going extremely well. Also, we don’t have a metrics system to measure success but we base it on how clean and fast their work is.
How did Maxim Liberty, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
We collaborate with them through email and they’re always available whenever we need them. We regularly talk to them and it has become a routine part of our collaboration. Maxim Liberty, Inc. has been stellar in terms of communication and project management.
As a matter of fact, it even felt that we were the ones holding them back. When they politely ask us for more details, the team is very specific when asking about concerns. Overall, their communication skills are excellent.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They are very polite, accommodating, and responsive. Maxim Liberty, Inc. is always available for us whenever we need them. They also get the job done immediately which is nice.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There are no complaints that we could think of. They are a perfect fit for our business.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Just communicate with them. That was one of our main concerns before we started because of the time zone differences since they were in another country. Fortunately, we didn’t have any issues with that even with language barriers because it’s important to communicate with them clearly.

They've been great at bookkeeping services, did our year end auditing and income tax filings but can handle pretty much everything else remotely or virtually.

I’m the founding principal of a medium-sized landscape architecture practice.
What challenge were you trying to address with Maxim Liberty?
We had mixed experiences with other remote bookkeeping services that were spotty and too expensive. We were looking for a new bookkeeping partner.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They do our standard QuickBooks bookkeeping. The team takes care of our invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
What is the team composition?
I work with one bookkeeper and one bookkeeper supervisor.
How did you come to work with Maxim Liberty?
I was looking for an offshore partner online and came across them online. Their rates are quite reasonable and we decided to give them a try.

We spend around $1,000 per month.

We started working together in May 2019, and our work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The service has been great. Everyone assumes that any competent bookkeeper you hire will have accurate work, but that’s not always the case. Maxim Liberty is always very accurate. With our past bookkeeping companies, we had some invoices that weren’t getting sent out. That never happens now. They’re extremely responsive.
How did Maxim Liberty perform from a project management standpoint?
They always find time to be available for us. We’ve established a workflow and they understand it well. We haven’t had any issues yet.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’re very pleased and lucky to have found them. They do the work and they don’t make any errors.
Are there any areas they could improve?
In the past, we had issues with communication since our contact had a heavy accent and I couldn’t understand them. Since then, they’ve assigned another account manager to us that doesn’t have as much of a heavy accent. That being said, their actual English communication is great.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to make sure you’re comfortable with the bookkeeper manager that you’re assigned.

I'm the owner and founder of Morris and Company. We do bookkeeping and financial management services for nonprofit organizations.
What challenge were you trying to address with Maxim Liberty, Inc.?
I needed additional bookkeeping support as my company grew.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Maxim Liberty, Inc. provides full-service bookkeeping. The specific tasks vary from client to client in terms of the different companies that we serve. They handle payables, receivables, and bank reconciliations. They track submission of credit card receipts and expense reports. I do the payroll myself but I suspect they would be equally competent.
What is the team composition?
I have a project manager who oversees all the work they do for my clients. They provide two-and-a-half FTEs for my account.
How did you come to work with Maxim Liberty, Inc.?
I’d hired someone else, and it went badly, so I was looking to hire someone local. I was searching through job listings from other bookkeeping firms to see how they were recruiting. I came upon Maxim Liberty, Inc.’s website. I thought I would try it out because their pricing was excellent.

Right now I spend $2,000 a month. I’ve been at that level for some time, so altogether the cost comes to about $30,000.

I don't remember exactly but I think we've been working together between three and three-and-a-half years. The engagement is ongoing.

Their team is fantastic. I work daily with my program manager. He does a great job of keeping track of every loose end. He follows up with clients every couple of days to remind them and he's on top of things. We primarily communicate via email and Skype calls when necessary.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I most appreciate the quality of the work, the timeliness of the work, and especially the price, which can't be beaten.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don't think so. They handle everything I've sent their way.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Give some thought and consideration into how tasks are managed. We've designed a good system to manage the regularly recurring tasks every week or month. It allows us to be clear about who needs to do what on which tasks. That’s something we did proactively and it’s served us well.
