Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a co-founder of Airhead - a brand that is helping people to get active in cities by protecting them from air pollution, with a unique mask.
For what projects/services did your company hire Make Us Care, and what were your goals?
We required a professional overhaul of our brand design and messaging. We also hired Make Us Care for other projects including social media and packaging design. Our goal was to uplift our brand to be as engaging as possible for both new and existing customers.
How did you select this vendor?
We compared a number of different brand agencies and decided that Make Us Care would be able to provide the level of service that we required at a price that suited our budget.
Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.
The team interview us as co-founders to truly understand our vision, our strategy and what we cared about in the running of the business. They conducted in depth research with target customers to also find out what our customers cared about in the context of our market. Make Us Care then consolidated this and iteratively created visual designs and a number of different ways in which we could tell our story in a compelling way, to different types of stakeholder.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked directly with the directors, as well as their team of specialists in their given fields (e.g. graphic design, copywriting, brand strategy).
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Customers consistently provide excellent feedback on the brand design, messaging and packaging.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Highly effective. Very regular phone calls and messages, to manage timeline expectations and provide updates whenever required.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Creativity was truly remarkable! Their ability to come up with a range of concepts based on information provided to them was outstanding. Also, their openness to iterations based on our own feedback was really helpful as a client. Excellent communication and organisation. An absolute pleasure to work with!
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Nothing major to add. We might only have improved further had we been able to do more face-to-face meetings for the early brand strategy, but this wasn't possible due to the pandemic.

Seraphim
How we created Generation Space for the world's leading SpaceTech fund.
Seraphim empowers and inspires great thinkers, champions and pioneers to rally together and shape the next chapter of humanity's existence. Seraphim are the world's leading SpaceTech investment fund, and they needed a brand to reflect that.
A key part of the branding project was to develop an identity framework that could work across all of Seraphim's brands. Using a refined selection of colours from the main brand's pallet we were able to make each sub-brand related yet unique.

We developed a visual language, taking inspiration from space telescope imagery, and using abstract gradients. We wanted to move away from a dependence on renders of satellites and rockets, toward visually representing the infinite opportunities in space.

Soldo’s mission is to make it easier for companies to manage and control their spending with prepaid company cards and automated expenses.
Founders don’t talk much about raising and spending company money. We created Dough Stories to open up these conversations and give founders everywhere and insight into the good, the bad and the ugly.
We used pizza as the creative vehicle for the campaign to visually connect with the actions companies need to make with their dough (see what we did there?)
We continued to bring Dough Stories to life through a series of events across the UK and through direct mail.

Nimble
How we helped parents celebrate their little one's messy moments.

Our challenge was to take the brand on a huge leap forward with new visual branding and brand stories that elevate Nimble beyond the competition and speaks directly to their customer.

Landing Pages Optimization for Online Streaming Club
''They were very approachable, listened to what we needed.''
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m an executive at an online streaming club.
What challenge were you trying to address with Make Us Care?
We were struggling to get people to sign up for our streaming services platform, so we needed someone to assist us with optimizing our landing pages.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Make Us Care helped us onboard people to our platform by optimizing landing pages and also assisted us in reducing our costs per acquisition. Their work included ad targeting setup, paid ad strategies, and professional advice to improve our conversion rates.
We started by having initial discussions to define the project’s scope, where we gave them a brief of what we wanted and decided to use Unbounce for the landing page’s design. They also helped us roll out some of the ad assets we had in combination with their suggestions to attract more people to our platform.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Callum (Founder), and he delegated work to his team behind the scenes.
How did you come to work with Make Us Care?
Someone referred them to me.
How much money have you invested in this partnership?
We spent around £15,000 (approximately $16,800 USD) with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from November 2021–March 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Thanks to their work, we reduced our costs per acquisition by 40%, so our signup process was cheaper, which enabled more people to use the app. Moreover, their team was very helpful and proactive in providing their insight for better results rather than just sticking to what we asked them.
How did Make Us Care perform from a project management standpoint?
Everything was on time and within budget. In addition, communication was great; we had weekly catch-up calls to review the process and were able to create actionable points from each call to review our strategy and areas for improvement.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were very approachable, listened to what we needed and what we were looking for, and were more than happy to provide additional assistance, which enabled us to develop more ideas and move things forward.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I didn’t think there was anything they could’ve done better because we weren’t dissatisfied with anything about their performance.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Speak to them and ensure that they’re aligned with your needs. Overall, I truly recommend them.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the MD and Owner of Cotton Comfort. Cotton Comfort’s purpose is to help people who suffer from eczema or other itchy skin conditions by providing super comfortable organic cotton clothing and a supportive helpful online community.
For what projects/services did your company hire Make Us Care, and what were your goals?
Our goal was to update our brand and create a brand story book to support this for us to use across our business.
How did you select this vendor?
We looked at several brand agencies and had presentations from a few of them. We loved the idea of building stories and found MUC to be refreshingly open, enthusiastic and well priced.
Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.
We held a couple of brainstorming sessions to inform them about our company and what we are all about. They did some really useful customer interviews which provided fantastic input to the project. They came up with a range of suggestions on logo and created 5 stories to support the brand / business. All of these then were presented to us and became part of a brand story book which outlines how we use the brand. They have also helped us develop collateral for events and templates for documents & emails etc.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We had several people working on the project - Callum led it, with support from Alexandria and Joey on the technical and logo stuff. Amanda developed the 5 stories.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Had great feedback from customers and suppliers and our website has improved its conversion rate and traffic. Feel much more confident now about investing in advertising / marketing with our new branding.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Good communication and generally very helpful. Slight delays at times but mainly due to Callum getting married!
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They were really committed and learnt a lot about the company. They were flexible and accommodating when we made lots of changes to the logo. Overall a great result within our quite tight budget.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Provide assets that were really easy to use - we still find that the font we use doesn't work on a lot of printers so we have to save docs as pdf before printing.

Branding Services for Plant-Based Baby Product Company

Please describe your company and your position there.
Nimble is an exciting brand of plant-based baby household cleaning products sold in 900 UK supermarkets and various online channels. I'm the founder and CEO.
For what projects/services did your company hire Make Us Care, and what were your goals?
We hired MUC to help us overcome our branding challenges. We have a distinctive look, feel, and tone of voice, but we had 2 shortfalls:
1. Creative assets are limited as we don't have enough devices that can translate from pack to other marketing collaterals.
2. We know who we are and what we represent but didn't have the right words articulated.
How did you select this vendor?
We spoke to a few branding agencies but I felt a good connection with MUC. At a personal level, I felt they understood me as the founder and I liked their energy, enthusiasm, and youthful energy. At a business level, I thought their previous work for a nanny-share business was excellent.
Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.
I was mainly involved in the first stage of the work, which is to interview us in the business so we can share our brand ethos and my personal mission/vision when I founded Nimble. In the succeeding stages, they worked with our Marketing Manager to finetune various concepts and execution they put together.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Mainly the 2 co-founders, plus the brand strategist.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
1. We now have a brand book with a clear articulation of our mission, vision, tone of voice, assets, etc.
2. We now have refreshed packaging artworks that have devices that we can use across all our marketing collaterals.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
They're very relaxed and easy to work with. Extremely organised and timely with their commitments.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I felt they went the extra mile to know me and my vision, getting under the skin of my brand. I didn't feel that they were rushing me to get to the bottom of things as it felt that they understood that a branding exercise is a long process.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
If I were to nitpick, I'd say maybe a better understanding of our product category cues, which could have helped shorten the artwork devt process. But then again, I could see the advantages of their 'freshness' in the category, otherwise, we could have landed in the same old devices that a lot of our competitors use.

I'm the CEO of Adapt To Perform the world's largest resource of adapted fitness providing on-demand fitness sessions for disabled people
For what projects/services did your company hire Make Us Care?
We needed to turn ATP from a YouTube channel into a fully fledged buisness that could provide a higher quality product and start to turn a profit.
How did you select Make Us Care and what were the deciding factors?
We looked for a company that care about us and not just the bottom line. Our mission is to change lives through our work and need them to understand that which they do.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
After a lengthy discussion we planned together the appropriate approach to turn the company into one making a profit straight away. They handled everything from design to the inner workings of the site. This was a fun process as they allowed myself to do what I do best and streamline my workflow allowing for a higher quality and quantity output.
How many resources from the Make Us Care team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I have worked with just one member of the team who was a great point of contact to express my vision
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The outcome is a very adaptable user friendly experience that allows my clients to have a easy experience which boosts retention
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The way MUC work means that I have the space to talk about what my vision is and how it can be implemented within the site. I have felt guided and involved through the process.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I was surprised how versitile they were adapting the the unique challenges i needed.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
At first I was worried that a small team would take longer to produce the content than expected but as they have been growing whilst I've worked with them the output has been quicker with no drop in quality.
