For what projects/services did your company hire Loud Mouth Media?
We hire Loud Mouth Media to help with PPC and Social Media advertising throughout an annual promotion period. The entire campaign was around seven weeks long, including a warm-up period in October before the start of the promo, through Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the end of the sale. We are in the stages of migrating to a new website, which wouldn't be finished before the promotion. This presented some unique challenges, such as only selling digital products, issues with incomplete data and an inability to utilise Google Merchant Centre.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We were slightly sceptical about using a third-party agency as we've previously had much more success managing our PPC and SMM than with agencies. However, with a lack of internal capacity, we decided to look for some best-in-class agencies, one of which was Loud Mouth Media. Loud Mouth Media immediately stood out as the best partner of all the agencies we contacted. Other agencies weren't interested in short-term contracts or relatively low ad-spend compared to some of their top-end clients. Loud Mouth, however, really took the time to get to know us and our products, understand our requirements and present a thoroughly researched and comprehensive pitch.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Loud Mouth Media designed multi-level Google PPC and SMM campaigns to drive customers from the top of the funnel, creating awareness and increasing reach through YouTube and Facebook ads before nurturing those customers through the middle of the funnel and accurately targeting high-intent customers at the bottom of the funnel. Loud Mouth Media were completely open about everything throughout the process and worked collaboratively with us at each stage to ensure the messaging and creatives remained on-brand with accurate product information whilst also optimising for high click-through and conversion rates.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We primarily worked with three people from Loud Mouth, though we also had some contact with other staff, all of which were extremely friendly, helpful and quick to respond. Our initial contact was Kevin Doran, their Business Development Manager, who took the time early in the project to fully understand our needs and ensure that they would be a good fit for us and that budgets and expectations were aligned. Throughout the project, we worked closely with Marc Shields, the Head of Social eCommerce and Cameron Wilson, a PPC Account Manager. Marc and Cameron were accommodating and friendly, always making time for us and constantly identifying opportunities to increase revenue up to the end of the contract.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Loud Mouth Media were able to reach potential customers that we had previously struggled to do so, enabling us to reach a broader market. At least 20% of all profit during the promotion could be directly attributed to their efforts, which is around twice what we had previously achieved. It wouldn't be appropriate to share exact figures, but the return on investment, including the Ad spend and their fees, was well over 500%
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow between Loud Mouth Media and ourselves felt natural, like an extension of our team. Marc and Cameron were regularly available for calls, very quick to reply to emails and very personable. They also considered our time and capacity when asking for creatives or approvals and understood when we could not deliver everything they would have liked.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The most unique and refreshing thing about Loud Mouth is their can-do attitude, their dedication to delivering the same excellent results for clients who don't have as large budgets as their top-end accounts, and what felt like a genuine passion for their jobs and delivering excellent results.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Given the challenges and limitations we presented to Loud Mouth, I don't feel like there was any more they could have done. The results were excellent, the relationship was great, and their fees were very reasonable. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

We asked her to evaluate our current standings and content and make suggestions that our dev team could implement.

They helped us hit our target CPA within 2 months and we've been scaling the campaigns ever since. We've now increased our Google Ads campaign budget by 500% since starting with him whilst maintaining our target CPA.
We have been working with Alina and Gary-Eoghan since May 2022 (4 months) and we have fixed all the technical SEO issues holding us back and optimised a few pages so far. Next up we'll be focusing on optimising all the other pages of the site and coming up with a content strategy for our future blog posts.

They offer weekly, monthly or quarterly meetings. Since I wanted this to be as hands off as possible I have been doing them quarterly. On the SEO side they have been working directly with my dev team which saved me being the middleman.

They get stuff done. It feels more like they are in our team and are always thinking of the company's best interests rather than they are an external agency.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
They use spreadsheets and email for tracking the SEO work which is fine but we use Trello and Slack internally so it would be nice to bring them into those where we already work. However I haven't asked them to do that so maybe they would 🤣

Loud Mouth Media has planned and executed our digital marketing and paid advertising on Facebook and Google. They work with us to identify opportunities and audiences on both platforms. Also, they manage our budgets.
Our strategy is to target, reach, and engage closed and new traffic to our brand and website. They have a clear strategy for each part of the funnel, and their approach to each part is tailored to our markets. Additionally, they’re responsible for creating the ads. We generate the content and graphics, and they work on the copy and match the correct graphics and copy to the right audiences. We discuss ways to address our strategy, and they look at fresh creative ideas to target new audiences or change the metrics for Facebook and Google ads.

We’ve worked with Mark (Managing Director) and Adam (PPC Account Manager).
How did you come to work with Loud Mouth Media?
We found them through one of my colleagues. Our marketing manager worked with them in previous companies, so she recommended them. We chose Loud Mouth Media over their competitors due to their experience. Also, they were proactive, communicative, and willing to improve the company.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent £25,000 (approximately $29,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in June 2020 and stopped our collaboration in May 2021 to go to another agency, but we got poor results. We resumed our work with them in September 2021, and our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We measure our return on ad spend as a key metric, and it’s always where we need it to be. They keep it on track and work to improve it continuously. Also, we measure revenue per channel, conversion rate, cost per transaction, cost per landing page view, cost per purchase, and purchase value. When we started again in September 2021, our metrics were probably half what they are now. Loud Mouth Media has double the enrollment from the previous agency.
How did Loud Mouth Media perform from a project management standpoint?
Their communication is second to none. We have a monthly meeting to plan the next month and quarter. In between those meetings, we communicate with them every week, and the team is incredibly responsive. Also, they’re very proactive in coming up with new ideas to improve our results.
What did you find most impressive about them?
First of all, their project management skills are one aspect where they stand out from competitors. Secondly, their most impressive traits are their communication and ability to achieve the results we require. They’re very open; they don’t pretend to know about things they don’t know about. The team keeps an honest, hands-on, and proactive approach, working with us to think of new ideas and ways of engaging the audience and growing the business. All in all, they’re flexible and easy to work with.

We have two campaigns with Loud Mouth Media, being Google Ad's and Google Shopping, both of these have been optimised and monitored constantly which is what we expected from a reputable company such as this one.

Since implementing the Google Ad's & shopping strategy we are hitting the first page for most products and even organically we have increased ranking. This is key as we want to promote these and prioritise certain products over others.
