Augmented reality app "My Yeti" for ice cream packaging. The frequency of purchases increased 2.5 times, and the marketing solution changed the motivation of consumers to buy the product. The product was awarded with the golden award at the International Advertising Festival in the nomination "Best Innovations in Advertising".

An augmented reality app "ATB Wonderland" that brings to life illustrations from "Alice in Wonderland". Also, a loyalty program was developed to encourage book purchases in Ukrainian ATB retail chain. The first circulation of the book in the amount of 275 000 copies was sold out in 2 weeks; the total number of app downloads exceeded 258 000; the average check and the number of new visitors increased significantly. The application was featured in the top of App Store and Google Play.

"TIMI" - an app with augmented reality for a series of confectionery products by Konti company. We have developed an entire universe (including a mascot for the brand and a storyline) using the technology of AR.

The app helps a child to explore the universe and assist TIMI in protecting charming inhabitants of this world of candies from the villains. We developed and animated AR-cartoons, mini-games, puzzles, and more in TIMI.

This breakthrough app links confectionery, latest AR technologies, and children’s thirst for exploration. Every new package holds a new AR-powered surprise for children!

"Hippo Magic" - an augmented reality app for a series of children's books with AR: "Little Red Riding Hood", "Three Little Pigs", "Velvet Rabbit", "Goldilocks and the Three Bears".

The app brings to live characters from the books and offers children an interactive reading experience, where they can play mini-games, puzzles, and color books' pages in real time.

The app was awarded with prestigious Parents Choice Award in the United States and helped the publisher to enter Walmart with this series of books.

New Year's packaging

During the Christmas season, we created a series of New Year themed designs for gifts and packaging for the holding company Gotek - the largest packaging enterprise in Eastern Europe. We added a series of New Year themed AR designs to the collection of "Live Photo" app developed by us.

Our designs helped Gotek to qualify for and win the international contest Worldstar 2017.

Alice through the Looking Glass

An augmented reality app for the second book from the Alice series - Alice through the Looking Glass. Also, a loyalty program was developed for a Ukrainian retail chain ATB to stimulate purchases of the book. Unlike the first book from the series, we have developed twice as many illustrations in AR – 11 live images including the cover.

The app and the book instantly became a stunning success. There were 350,000 copies of the book published and sold by ATB, leading to the emergence of a secondary market where books were re-sold and traded.

First in the wotrld, we have developed an application that combines augmented reality and learning. We brought the author's application from AR to the world market. 

We have developed a creative concept for a series of coloring books, animated all the characters and integrated the Augmented Reality technology into illustrations.

 The result: manufacturers from 51 countries have bought a license for the "Live Coloring" application.

Lacalut Coloring App

We developed an AR app for Lacalut brand, where children could use their coloring books as a gateway to an interactive learning experience. Rabbit Lucky comes to life from the pages of the branded coloring book and, through the AR technology, teaches children how brush their teeth properly.

This case shows our skills of applying AR both for marketing and educational purposes, with maximum benefit for the brand and its target audience.

A series of AR designs for coloring books and other stationery products for Indonesian market. With these designs, children are able to bring the characters they just colored to life! This case is a great example of how to make learning and art into a fun and interactive experience for children.

Most importantly, our innovative solution helped to double products' sales in just three months!

AR Style Beautiful Girl

We developed this series of augmented reality designs for girls of school age and made our characters appealing to this specific target audience. We added more fun and interactivity with running mini-games and rewarding points.

These fun and stylish designs were licensed for use on school products by our partners in 54 countries. These were the first ever school products AR designs with mini-games and interactive experience, which paved the way for our further complex AR solutions for school products.

AR Rush Cars

Targeted specifically for boys of school age, this series of AR designs brings to life the best sportscars in the world and puts a child in the driving seat!

We created this series of fun AR-designs for our licensees in 54 countries. The special treats for little drivers are fast and furious minigames, where a child takes control of a sportscar and avoids obstacles on a high-speed track. AR Rush Cars boasts with lifelike quality of sportscars' models and addictive gameplay.

We developed a Valentine's Day AR solution for a special series of chocolate sweets for a large manufacturer and brough angels of love to life! The packaging featured cute characters created by a famous artist Yevgenia Gapchinska and we made them come alive with our AR magic.

The solution created an unprecedented buzz around the series during 2017 Valentine's Day period and offered an opportunity to gift not only a box of sweets, but a romantic personalized postcard with angels that come alive.

We created an augmented reality app for Sharmuziks - a colorful children book by a young author Tim Brick with cute characters that just cannot stay out of adventure.

The author wanted to make his first book different from other children books. He also wanted to gain more readers and increase sales of the book. So we applied some AR-magic to achive that.

We empowered the book with the AR technology, bringing the characters to life, adding mini-games and quests, and creating a really interactive reading experience. We incorporated the gyroscope functionality and added exciting puzzles. It has become even easier to fall in love with those little cuties and help them through many challenges!

Live Photo App

Live Photo is an application in which we are the first in the world to combine augmented reality and learning. we have developed a creative concept for a series of stationery products, animated all the characters and integrated the Augmented Reality technology into illustrations. The products make the educational process interesting and entertaining, offering users to consider stationery with a new, modern look.

I am the director of business development at an AR children's book company.


What challenge were you trying to address with Live Animations?

We contracted with Live Animations to help us create AR animations for a collection of children’s books.


What was the scope of their involvement?

Using the Unity platform, they developed our mobile application for Android and iOS. Users can scan the cover of each book in the collection, and it downloads the book on to the user’s phone. On pages that feature our company logo, users scan the page, and the character comes to life. Live Animations built AR components that allow users to play with the character. There are also coloring pages and interactive hidden object pages.

What is the team composition?

We work closely with 3–4 people.

How did you come to work with Live Animations?

We met them at a toy trade show in New York. We did a lot of prior research, but we had never seen their kind of quality before. They were clearly the best option we could have selected.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our initial engagement spanned May 2017–February 2018. We plan to continue working with them, however, and we have about eight more books in the pipeline.


What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our books are now sold in stores, but we wouldn’t have gotten into the stores without the AR component. Retailers have been blown away by the quality of their work.

How did Live Animations perform from a project management standpoint?

The project management systems they have in place are truly impressive. We never had any issues, and most of the time they finished faster than we expected. We had no trouble communicating despite the time zone differences.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality of their work is the best we’ve ever seen. They are truly leaders in their field. The managed the project very well. We’re fortunate to have found them, and we look forward to working with them more in the future.
