Innovative English Learning App
Koto English is a mobile app aimed to help users learn and practice English in an entertaining manner.
The fun of Koto English lies in gamification that keeps users motivated and concentrated. We implemented three types of games: Quiz, Time attack, and Battle. Each game offers a variety of exercises to strengthen users' English knowledge. They can track down their achievements in the statistics of their learning curve. For further engagement, we enable users to communicate with each other and share their results.
The clean and eye-catching design is vital when crafting a gamified application. Thus, awesome cat illustrations are the center of UI design solutions.

Corporate Website for Nexte
Nexte is a solar panel manufacturer that produces sustainable energy systems. The clients needed a complex corporate website that would present the company and provide its customers with essential information.
Limeup helped them build information architecture, designed an interface, and helped to launch it. The efficient and productive process made it possible to deliver the website in the short term.

Sports Staking Platform
Sbet is a sports betting company that approached Limeup with the need to upgrade its platform's overall look and feel.
First, we simplified the search to filter the kinds of sports according to their interests. We built a design system to organize the product and created a prototype to test and refine the platform functionality. Implementing customization enabled users to personalize the platform according to their preferences by picking which leagues and types of sports to follow. There is also a possibility to change the general outlook of the platform by customizing the interface.
Our collaboration resulted in an intuitive and fancy interface.

Advanced Trading Platform and CRM
We have participated in creating i88, a secure online trading platform. With its help, investors and traders buy, sell, transfer, and store cryptocurrency and monitor accounts through financial intermediaries. The client reached out to build the trading platform from scratch.
Limeup conducted an in-depth discovery, investigated the domain, and defined the list of features and approaches that would match the target audience's needs. Our goal was to design an interface that would stand out in the market and look familiar to users. Apart from that, we had to build a new CRM to add the features and functionalities that match the needs of i88.
As a result, we delivered a complex platform with intuitive user experience elements and a refined interface.

Trendy Poker Mobile Application
Poker House is an online poker app that brings players from all over the world to poker tournaments. The challenge of this project was to rethink the app from scratch and present a modern, flashy interface design with improved navigation and brand-new features.
As a result, we restructured the overall user experience. First, we implemented gameplay elements and animation to strengthen gamification and increase user engagement. Users now can join several tournament tables at once, complete the levels, unlock rewards, and achieve bonuses with the wheel of fortune.
Limeup successfully upgraded the application while keeping the classic poker patterns.

Innovative Betting Platform
Bingo.bet is an online casino that offers an expansive range of table games. Our role was to redefine the user experience and craft a beautiful and captivating interface.
We started by conducting market research to dig deeper into the domain and distinguish the common features of winning casino solutions.
Bingo.bet offers a variety of exceptionally designed tournaments that need to be highlighted with a memorable user experience. We helped rethink the navigation, let users customize the interface according to their preferences, get bonuses, and check the game's statistics.

Exclusive Private iGaming Platform
Aristocrat is a private sports betting company. The task sounded familiar – to restructure the platform and upgrade its visual identity.
Our main goal was to build additional features while taking the platform to an easier-to-use level. For that reason, we implemented a variety of filters, letting players customize the platform according to their preferences and enabled them with a couple of quick options to place the bet. Now players can place bets via tickets or a Telegram bot that notifies them about the match results. Users can also view live games from minimum screen size and place bets simultaneously.
With a clean and attractive interface, all the new features make an excellent platform.

Advanced iGaming Platform
Limeup collaborated with an online casino Galaxy Bingo to create the platform from scratch. We partnered to overhaul the UX/UI and help the casino grow at a stellar rate.
While the casino offers players a wide range of popular games, our goal was to ensure they could provide the players with a top-notch experience. For that reason, we improved information architecture, navigation, and enhanced usability. Finally, our designers crafted the extraterrestrial interface style that highlights the naming of the casino and lures players into the gaming world.

Website for Gaming Industry
Tycoon Syndicate is a team of betting professionals who deliver the most accurate sports predictions. The client asked us to help them redesign their existing site and create an updated look for their company.
We wanted to keep the website smooth without losing the edgy feel of the visual design. Keeping that in mind, we simplified the user experience and delivered a vivid visual interface.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m a project coordinator for Medline. Our co-founder is good friends with another business owner from the real estate industry and proposed to help them with the digitization project, of which I was put in charge as they had no in-house experts familiar with such projects.
This project was for a property management firm based in Germany. Their business was doing great and their biggest challenge was scalability, which, in theory, is a nice problem to have, but, in practice, is really hard to deal with.
A large percentage of their data was stored on physical data mediums, which needed to be handled by employees, scanned and copied, not even mentioning only being accessible at a certain location, so after some forums and peer consultations they decided it was time to embark upon the digitalization journey
For what projects/services did your company hire Limeup?
I’ve hired Limeup to do UX research into how to design a platform that has the required functionality in a way that will be intuitive and extremely easy to use. After this stage, I was confident in their competence and requested a UI/UX design of a platform they researched as well.
The decision had also some practical basis, as by this time they were well acquainted both with the platform vision and the business operations, so there were none who would’ve done the job cheaper or faster.
How did you select this vendor?
They were recommended to me, and after testing them with the initial research questions, I had no doubts about their capability to deliver.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Right from the get-go, Limeup experts set out to understand the business processes, operations, business goals, key procedures, external communication points, and a number of other factors. They investigated what had the largest effects on the bottom line, what were the biggest time drains, and how exactly all our processes are conducted, step-by-step.
They communicated directly with employees and asked questions that should have been asked long ago, such as where they feel those processes can be improved, what their biggest time wasters are, what frustrates them, and how do they imagine possible solutions. They went on to create a document informational architecture for the platform.
After that, the user flows for all the platform functionalities were laid out. We discussed them at length and iterated upon them to achieve the desired outcome. Limeup professionals proved vital in singling out optimization points and creative ways of implementing various processes. When all the user flows were in a good state, the UX project ended.
After a brief delay, I ordered the UI design of the platform, which was straightforward and required minimal feedback, as all the user flows and platform specifications were already well established.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
UX Researcher, Business Analyst, and Lead Product Designer for the UX part. UI/UX Designer and Lead Product Designer for the UI part.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I’ve successfully developed this platform with a software outsourcing company, and Limeup implementation guidance proved vital in developing the platform on-time.
My point of contact during the project also remained available after its end and was able to resolve any questions that occured during development promptly. System is now operational and achieves its intended goals.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It was effortless and by the end of it they felt like an autonomous department of our company which had vested interest in delivering the best results they can.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They delivered exactly what they promised. It was promised that a proper UX research could speed up the development process and reduce the development cost, and it proved to be so.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I was satisfied by the outcome entirely, and can single out no particular area for improvement.

I’m a Project Coordinator at Cash.cf. We mainly invest in blockchain tech startups with global ambitions. For each of the projects we back, we provide management support as well as access to a vast network of business contacts we possess, and over time this grew into a separate consulting branch.
For this project, we’ve been helping an owner of a series of private clinics take their customer service to next level and digitalize the business.
For what projects/services did your company hire Limeup?
We’ve hired them to do UX research and come up with user flows, and eventually, interface design for an app we were developing.
Its main task was to cut queues by optimizing patient flows thus allowing hospitals to serve more patients, increasing hospital revenue. It also needed to have several user types ( patients, receptionists, doctors, administrators) with various access levels and interfaces.
How did you select Limeup?
They were recommended to us as an agency that wouldn’t shy away from a complex project with substantial UX research required.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
I’ve sent over a list of requirements for the application and the database architecture we were expecting. Together with a Lead Product Designer, we discussed all user flows for all the user types over a series of calls.
These user flows were documented and mockups were designed for the entire application going user by user. As the mockups took their final form, we discussed the interface style we wanted, and Limeup UI designers proceeded to create the interface of the application.
How many resources from the Limeup team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Lead Product Designer, UX Researcher, 2 UX/UI Designers.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We’ve successfully developed an application with some implementation guidance from Limeup designers.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
They were proactive in understanding our product and its intended goal. I’ve received regular progress updates and was impressed by their transparency and accountability.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their approach was methodical and consecutive. Each step was built upon the previous one and they were all fit together logically to take us to the end goal with a minimum amount of edits.
They managed to make the interfaces for users and doctors look and feel extremely simple and intuitive. The app requires no guidance for them to use which translates into impressive ease of implementation in the real world.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Project cost could’ve been cheaper. Other than that, the engagement went practically flawlessly.

How did you select this vendor?
My colleague from another investment company recommended them.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
My role was more of an overseeing one rather than a direct involvement one. After conducting initial talks and negotiating the price, timeline, and other relevant details, I passed the agency to the team we were investing in. After that, I was present only on the most important calls and kept track of project progress and updates Limeup was providing. Initially, we’ve discussed the concept with a Limeup product manager. After I got the team on board, they communicated with Product Designers, a UI Designer, and an illustrator till the project end. The entire project from start to finish took about 3 months.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

For what projects/services did your company hire Limeup?
We’ve hired Limeup as experts in the design of gambling software to develop one of the prospective projects we had. The app we had in mind was intended as a feature-rich sports betting platform. We needed an experienced team to design it in a way that would preserve all functionality even on smaller screen sizes while ensuring that UX is smooth across the board.

I think it was perfect. They were very understanding, asked the right questions, and I felt confident in their ability throughout the engagement
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I’m a Digitalization Consultant for alphabet capital, an investment company that also provides digitization projects consulting & support for our clients.
For what projects/services did your company hire Limeup?
One of our clients operates a poker establishment, and, like many lately, wanted to transition to an online business, or at least add this option for their regulars. They did not have much experience with app development, so they asked us for help. We have some developers we can rely on but needed a company to design the application for us.
How did you select this vendor?
We wished to get an application design that would be easy to implement for our development team and that would be intuitive and easy to use for people that may not have any experience with online poker. I was talking about my current work challenges with a colleague and he mentioned that he might just know the right guys for the job. At first, I was skeptical that the solution to my problem may be so easily found, but later I was pleased that I trusted in Limeup.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We described all our requirements in detail with a product designer they provided, then received an estimate with project details. After we agreed to it, they discussed with us some poker application design examples, the things we liked and the things we didn’t. Together we defined the main user flows, which mostly coincided with other poker apps, and they proceeded to create UX mockups. Overall they were good and we had to request only some minor changes, after which they did the UI design of the poker application.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
1 Design Director, 1 Product Designer, 1 UI/UX Designer.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Their design was indeed easy to implement and their designers remained available to provide guidance to our developers even after the project end.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
I think it was effective. We had no communication difficulties.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I got an impression that they did this dozens of times. At every moment we were sure what comes next and didn’t have to wonder about the status of our project.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I think that the project cost could’ve been a bit lower, though I have to admit that we had no questions about the quality of their work.

I’m a Head of Marketing of a payday loan service responsible for all digitalization projects and overall user journey within the organization. Our company helps consumers get cheap credits.
For what projects/services did your company hire Limeup?
We hired Limeup to conduct UX Research and create the concept of web and mobile applications with required functionality.
How did you select this vendor?
I personally knew the founders from their other projects and was confident in their competency.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
At the time of project start we had already rolled out the functionality of getting a loan online, but our customers still had to go to our physical locations to pay it out. It created a huge inconvenience since it both reduced the rate at which our customers were returning to us and reduced the target audience size (besides forcing us to maintain a large number of physical locations in cities of interest)
We wanted to develop an application which would be convenient and understandable even for the least sophisticated of users and came to limeup to creat the product concept of an app with required functionality and then to design it.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
In the beginning, we’ve worked with:
- a UX Researcher
- Product Design Consultant
Once we had a solid documented product concept that mapped all user flows, we coordinated with UX and UI designers.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Prior to the project it was impossible for our users to return their loans online, so it adds a huge convenience factor and was quite important for us.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It was quite effective. We had a dedicated person to contact who responded to our queries promptly and were able to give feedback and discuss the project with designers directly which ensured we were on the same page.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their design process is very thought out and “by the book”. All research that they do has a concrete purpose that Limeup does a good job of communicating said purpose, so we never had any questions as to why something was done or even necessary at all. It all fit together logically.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The coordination was smooth and the results match our expectations 100%.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Impltech is a German company that provides software development and IT outsourcing services, mainly for clients based in Europe. I am responsible for the marketing strategy of the company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Limeup?
We were expanding our services quite rapidly. Though we design and develop products internally, our designers had their hands full with client-oriented projects. We had a choice to either wait or seek outside help for the development of our company’s new service pages. We opted for the latter and approached Limeup.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We were launching a number of new services, such as product consulting, product discovery, and hiring of developers for specific technology like Python. Limeup helped us design the web pages dedicated to each these services.
We worked on a page-by-page basis, finalizing one page first before moving on to the next. For the first few pages, we went through several rounds of edits until we got exactly what we wanted in terms of the design. Limeup had to align with the overall style of the website, and they were eventually able to adapt it. After those first few tries, there were no longer any edits required on their output.
The pages were created from scratch. Although Limeup didn’t write the text for us, they did give us suggestions on how to optimize the content that we already had. This wasn’t necessarily a part of their scope, but they wanted us to be able to achieve the best results in terms of our conversion rate.
What is the team composition?
We communicated directly with the designers for any edits and feedback. For general questions and progress updates, we asked our dedicated account manager.
How did you come to work with Limeup?
They were recommended to us by an acquaintance, so we decided to approach them. They showed us examples of their work and pages that they had developed for similar companies. We had asked several other companies as well, but some of them gave us smaller estimates in terms of cost. The time estimate from Limeup was one of the best that we received, so we moved forward with them.
How much have you invested with them?
It was around $30,000 overall.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project started in August 2021, and the overall duration of the project was five months.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The conversion that we got from the pages that Limeup designed was on par and, in many cases, above the conversion rate of other pages that we had developed ourselves.
How did Limeup perform from a project management standpoint?
It really helped that we were able to speak directly with the designers. They were quick to respond and implement any edits that were needed.
They used Figma for design, and we initially spoke through email and video conferences. When we figured that the engagement will be more long-term, we decided to use Slack since it was a more convenient way of connecting.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have a really straightforward and logical process. As a client, we understood why each step was done and why it was needed. They left no room for uncertainty or unnecessary extra steps.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, the end results were exactly what we asked for. They conducted themselves professionally, and everything went normally.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
In business, time is money. You really have to look into the previous works of a certain company and asses what they are offering in terms of cost and time.
