As the Founder of a new product, we were looking to kickstart outbound sales through an expert agency to analyze market response to our product. We also wanted to partner with someone who will assist us with new customer acquisition in a constant and consistent manner. Hence we partnered with Leadle to target the India market.

Once we finalized the contract, the handover to their Customer Success team and appointment setting unit was seamless. The formal onboarding call helped increase understanding of the product, process flow for the campaign, team that will be working closely with us, requirements from both teams to kickstart the campaign and timeline for the same. 

Leadle conducted outreach to potential clients through all three channels of engagement email, LinkedIn, and phone calls, and scheduled appointments with them. We also had weekly meetings headed by Process Lead and Customer Success team members to review the performance of the campaign, strategies that will be tried out for the upcoming week and feedback of the meetings set by Leadle. 

The team involved was constantly invested in refining the target mix, analyzing our sales cycle. They also presented a dashboard during review calls through which they monitored the campaign progress and we were given 100% visibility to the campaign progress through the same. Further they also updated all the leads generated through the campaign to our internal CRM - Hubspot to provide visibility and tracking of leads post appointment setting stage. 

Their workflow was very effective and productive. From the onboarding call, there was good communication established between the teams. We were also setup a dedicated WhatsApp channel for communication and also had a few face to face meetings to improve synergy between teams.

Promptness and process adherence, they created robust systems to ensure work output was documented., how much ever that was. Very clear in communication and on top of asks.

I think something for us to have been more clear on was to play with a larger budget and commit to spends such as these. At Leadle's end, my only ask would have been to have a better grasp on understanding the nuance of our offerings and thereby generate more effective content. I felt that, that was a little sub-par relative to the overall experience.

Based on this Leadle came up with the content strategy - messaging/email sequence - for the target customers. Parallely, Leadle also built the list, set-up our accounts on LinkedIn and got in place the necessary systems for tracking. They also wrote the content and worked with us to refine the messaging. Post this, the campaign got started. We had a daily update via group messaging and a weekly connect call to track and monitor progress. It was very effective. We had a group to track progress and everything was available in a centrally located tracker for all of us to review.

They had a robust process for outbound reach outs, and they consistently met their lead goals. Their team is well trained and are quickly able to get to speed and understand the domain. They have a good tracking and review mechanism, which ensures success.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Outbound reach outs work best for high-value deals (>$1000 per month). Post the initial 3-month period, they could have prodded us to be more focused on customers that fall in this bucket. While they were excellent with their process, reach-outs and meetings, this is one area where they could provide consulting advice based on their experience, to ensure even better outcomes and ROI for their clients.

Leadle helped us with market validation by providing a comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) module. They are currently assisting us with lead generation through a multi-step process. Initially, they gave us a presentation to introduce their services and then guided us through an onboarding process where they explained the various roles of the team members who would be working with us. We collaborated to develop an ideal customer profile, also known as a buyer persona. Based on this information, Leadle created content for the prospective leads and reviewed it with us after their internal reviews.

Following this, Leadle conducted outreach to potential clients through email, LinkedIn, and phone calls, and scheduled appointments with them. During the process, we had regular review calls with their team leads to stay updated on the pipeline, and a dashboard was made available to us for monitoring the campaign progress at any given time. Their consultative approach, combined with their ability to identify challenges, analyze data, and draw on industry experience, was instrumental in accelerating our vision for ECL.

The team was led by a campaign manager, and we were also assigned a senior customer success manager to ensure consistent communication. Additionally, if needed, we could escalate issues to higher management.

What is the status of this engagement?

Leadle's market research and lead generation efforts helped us to identify potential SaaS companies in the India-US corridor. The success of the project was evaluated based on the number of meetings arranged by Leadle and they were able to generate 50+ meetings. Additionally, we assessed the quality of the meetings generated and overall interest in our service within the relevant industry.

We also monitored other performance metrics such as email open rates, clicks on our website, LinkedIn connections and call pick up rates with the right audience. As a result of this collaboration, we witnessed a significant increase in relevant meetings. This success prompted us to renew our contract with Leadle for two consecutive terms.
