What was the scope of their involvement?

We were looking for both full-stack and backend developers who are familiar with PHP, Node.JS, React, MongoDB, and MySQL to build our software platform and native apps. Lasting Dynamics takes care of all this.

We worked with four people from their team including two full-stack developers, a QA person, and a project manager. The owner of Lasting Dynamics is acting as an intermediate CTO for our company who handles all CTO duties from our end.

Lasting Dynamics is really good. Their founder is extremely bright and very proactive, always coming up with new and better suggestions. I find the entire team to be very efficient and they carry out a highly transparent process.

How did Lasting Dynamics SRL perform from a project management standpoint?

We have weekly deadlines that they meet, and if they don’t meet them, there’s always a reasonable explanation. I’m tremendously pleased with how they work. Lasting Dynamics is based in Italy and I’m in Copenhagen, so we primarily work through Skype and Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Lasting Dynamics’ CEO is outstanding. He always makes sure that our agreement is lined up.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t think there is a lot that could be done differently.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be well prepared, and that goes for all IT development. Clients have to know exactly what they want or else they will get something unexpected. Products must be described down to the smallest detail.

I represent a premium Merino wool technical-sportswear and urban outdoor clothing brand.

We sell our products worldwide through our e-commerce and with a small retail network in Europe. Our brand is part of a big group that is a world leader in producing and selling merino wool fabric to major brands such as Zegna, Hugo Boss etc.

I'm the Digital Marketing Manager so I'm responsible of all digital activities for the e-commerce in order to bring valuable lead and transactions. I report directly to the CEO.

For what projects/services did your company hire Lasting Dynamics SRL?

Our e-commerce was too slow, especially from mobile. We asked for advice from Lasting Dynamics to improve the performances of our web site and resolve the various bugs found during navigation.

After that we asked Lasting Dynamics to refresh and restyle an internal app we use for retailers.

What were your goals for this project?

Reducing loading time of each page of our website in order to make the customer journey a great experience. Moreover we wanted someone who tell us the potential of our CMS and what we can do from now to the next five years so we can decide if migrate to a new platform or ask for building one.

How did you select this vendor?

We asked for different quotes and had a call with several agencies. What we have found in Lasting Dynamics was exactly what we were looking for: not a big agency where your need are not their but a boutique, a young company that gives importance to every single request.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

They took access to our server and domain so they had the possibility to make an audit in the first week. After that they made a list of all the to does and put them in a gantt of one month duration.

It was extremely accurate, with all changes needed both in the back-end and front-end in order to make the website faster. We had access to their agile platform so we could follow all the daily work and it was amazing how they have finished the project in time.

After that we asked to refresh and restyle an old internal app that we use with our retailers. They have build a solid crm and a sort of e-commerce for retailers where they can add products in the cart simply by shooting the QR code shown on each product in the catalogue. This makes easier the entire management of the order BtoB.

What was the team composition?

The team was composed by 3 developers and 1 quality assurant but on each work there was always the supervision of the CEO Michele Cimmino. With him we had several calls for different questions.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our website is now faster than ever and every bug have been solved. The project gantt has been followed as scheduled and the job has been done in time.

Reducing loading time from mobile has reduced our bounce rate from 70% to 45%/50% and this means that we are intercepting a lot of valuable visit that we were missing before.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

As already told before, after an audit they sent us a gantt with all details and the job has been done as scheduled. I even had access to their agile platform so I was always up to date.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The work was done perfectly and on schedule even though there have been many other requests during the development phase.

Lasting Dynamics has proved to be only up to the job but capable of going much further, translating every request into a business opportunity. They are serious, dynamic, and full of ideas. They have the desire to do things right.

I’m the CEO of a marketing platform. We offer a software solution that allows companies to turn customers, followers, and fans into brand ambassadors.

Our platform was experiencing a lot of regressions. Every time we launched and released a new version, we experienced not only new bugs but also existing ones that came back up. We brought in Lasting Dynamics SRL to fix this.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lasting Dynamics SRL created unit tests and automated that allow us to prevent regressions whenever we deploy a new version of our platform.

Since then, Michele (CEO, Lasting Dynamics SRL) has taken over our workflow process for our dev team. He’s passionate about process management. He leads our weekly sprint planning meetings and creates different ways for our developers to work so that they stay fresh and engaged. He’s good at translating what I want into a more technical language that my dev team can understand.

Since Lasting Dynamics SRL implemented the tests, we see fewer regressions in new versions of our platform than before. Michele has also transformed the way we work, raising our professionalism and improving how we manage our tech team. He has the unique ability to understand both the technical side and the business side of things.

How did Lasting Dynamics SRL perform from a project management standpoint?

Lasting Dynamics SRL is extremely good at project management. In fact, they’re building their own project management tool. Michele, in particular, has a lot of ideas of what works and doesn’t work when it comes to processes and motivating our teams. I’d describe him as a huge nerd about workflows and project oversight.

We use Jira for task management, Confluence for documentation, and Slack for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Lasting Dynamics SRL’s passion is the main thing. When I gave our dev team a new mandate to focus on bugs for the next weeks without Michele’s input, he later asked me why I didn’t tell him about it because he had lots of ideas about how to get it done. He then sent me a list of suggestions by an agreed-upon date. If Lasting Dynamics SRL thinks they can provide value to our company, they won’t hesitate to share their ideas. I appreciate their willingness to share opinions and that they value our company like their own.

I engaged Lasting Dynamics to respond to a part of an RFP of a Telco client who was requesting a particular user experience based on edge frontend and mobile technologies. Given the particular technologies, different options were requested as part of the investigation and it was hard to find internal resources with the specific skills. The activity was as piece of a bigger IT system integration project

What were your goals for this project?

The part related to the involvement of Lasting Dynamics was about creating a proposal and a prototype on React Js to show a dynamic user interface for mobile and desktop users, shaping the UI based on their mobile contract, the active options on their SIM card and the recommendation for additional services

The research was done first through the network of my previous company affiliated suppliers and then through recommendation of an associated architect. Lasting Dynamics was a valid option for this specific investigation, since their skills were matching the request. My team had a technical interview with the CEO and a programmer and we found a matching profile. It was not a simple decision given the young age of the team and the short history of the company, but the competences shown and perfect match of skills made the difference.

Lasting Dynamics team was feed by my team with the customer requirements related to the part of their interest and through a series of workshops, it was involved in delivering a proposal of redesign of the UX in a Rect.js style and a prototype as attachment to the RFP response, as well as general consultancy on React.js

Despite the young age of the company, I found a serious team, able to commit to deadlines and in providing deliverables. Their methodology in design and delivery is able to adapt to different team environments. Their point of strength is their ability to innovate by exploring new solutions and cutting-edge technologies. Often, it is the perfect complement in traditional system integrators expert teams.

There are always rooms for improvements in such responses with low budget and short time, but about Lasting Dynamics, the services required were delivered on time and on budget. The communication and team spirt has been very good.

ENPACL is an Italian institution that provides assistance and social insurance for labor consultants. I'm a member of the full-stack developers' team and the project coordinator on our side.

We already have a web application where labor consultants can log in to see their status, make payments, and do all paperwork needed. What we missed was a mobile application with some essential services that users could easily use on the go and with a feature that allows us to send them push notifications about their practices. We take care of our users and we wanted to provide them more value.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched online for app development companies and found 4 candidates that could have been a good choice for us. Going deep into the analysis, we discovered that Lasting Dynamics was full of positive reviews on several websites but in any case, we contacted all 4 candidates to have a first meeting and a proposal. After the video call with Lasting Dynamics, all the team was very excited, because it was clear that their approach to the development was fully oriented toward the quality, and this is what we were looking for.

We had several meetings at the beginning to properly define all the requirements of the mobile application and after that, the project started from the UI/UX side. After only two weeks, we were able to see the first mockups of our application and that was amazing. We loved it from the first time. All the requirements have been broken down into smaller milestones and then into tasks and it has been a very good experience to follow the development in this way.

The mobile application developed has the following features:

After 3.5 months, as planned and agreed, our mobile app has been released in production and now our users are already using it. It has been very appreciated by our customers but in general, the result obtained was over our expectations.

Lasting Dynamics follows a strict workflow based on agile methodologies, so after we approved the first mockups, they invited us on their proprietary workflow management system, Roundrush, where we were able to check the kanban board daily. All the requirements have been broken down into smaller milestones and then into tasks and it has been a very good experience to follow the development in this way. Moreover, the Slack channels in which we talked every day and the weekly retrospective meetings made everything clear in any phase of the development.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The first thing we liked about this collaboration is the overall project management the communication. Having a slack channel, the kanban board, and the weekly retrospective meetings helped us to have always a clear idea about the progress of the development. We loved the attention to detail and the quality approach that made the app solid since its first deployment.  Last but not the least, they finished the job as planned and agreed and this is very important for us because we had to present the app to the institution's board on a defined date.

No, and I can say that there are still a lot of things to add to our application and for sure we will call again Lasting Dynamics in the upcoming months.
