What challenge were you trying to address with Konnectryx?
We needed help implementing the new CRM system we had recently purchased.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Konnectryx was responsible for all aspects of implementing Salesforce for our business, getting it up and running, and customizing it for our particular market and product. After the initial agreement with Salesforce, they directed us to Konnectryx, who identified how we made sales, what the nature of our product was, which market segments we were targeting, and what steps were involved in achieving a sale in each specific market.
Then, they took that information and built an initial model of our CRM, customized to our needs. Throughout this process, we engaged with Konnectryx multiple times, where they sought feedback on their progress and provided excellent advice based on their own experience.
Before this implementation, we were using a different CRM, so Konnectryx also assisted us with the migration of the data we had already collected. During this process, they also optimized the data.
Even after completing the implementation, Konnectryx reached out to see if they could do anything else for us. We had been using the tool for a little while and noticed some things that we would have liked to see. Thus, we told them about those things, and they willingly implemented those changes.
Finally, after an iterative process to finetune the CRM according to our needs, they delivered what we needed and set up a meeting with our entire team. In this meeting, we discussed where we were at, as well as some future initiatives we could engage in.

Since our CRM went live, four people on our team have used it daily. It works exceptionally well, as advertised. Recently, we had a business review meeting, and this tool was key for us to provide actionable data to develop our strategic three-year plan moving forward. Thus, what Konnectryx provided us with has been proved to be effective and useful, resulting in a resounding success.
How did Konnectryx perform from a project management standpoint?
Konnectryx performed very well. From the beginning, they laid out a 12-step plan to move the project from discovery to completion, including a post-completion follow-up. Each of those milestones had estimated dates of completion and detailed the person in charge of completing those milestones.
From a project management perspective, their approach made it clear that they had a project course mapped out, and they ensured to complete everything on time following that timeline. Throughout this process, we had a great dialog with them; they were professional, engaging, cooperative, and friendly.
The project’s complexity didn’t require the use of project management tools. Thus, we mainly communicated via Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Additionally, we exchanged emails and had a few phone calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The most impressive asset about Konnectryx was that they worked hard and deliberately to understand my needs as a customer. They strived to understand our requirements, which I found to be a unique and powerful perspective.

We were trying to grow our business from a mid-sized company. All of our systems were detached. Nothing spoke to anything else, so for us to advance, we wanted to have all of our systems meet so we could effectively reach our clients, including our point of sale (POS), lead generator, marketing materials, and so on. Therefore, we needed an expert in the field.

We have several moving projects with Konnectryx. Currently, they’re helping us with our website, getting it active so we can take online orders, which we haven’t done in the past. Then, we’ll upgrade it so it’s more efficient and can better communicate with our Salesforce platform.
Also, we’re updating our POS and inventory control systems to integrate them with Salesforce and engage our customers better by marketing to them on their purchases history. Finally, Konnectryx is helping us set up our Salesforce marketing cloud so we can create journeys to target our clients better.

For what projects/services did your company hire Konnectryx, and what were your goals?
One of our companies was offering third party billing to its customers and we were struggling to provide that same functionality with our website redesign without incurring considerable additional costs for custom work.
The issue was primarily due to the rigidity of our choice of platform, which prevented customization of the cart and checkout functionality without upgrading our subscription and hiring additional experts to then customize the cart and/or checkout code to support what we needed.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We were recommended to Konnectryx by a consulting firm that we work with and after an initial discovery call with the team, we felt that Konnectryx had the right talent and approach to support our needs.

After our kickoff call, in which I detailed our needs for the project, Konnectryx connected us with a shipping and fulfillment expert who was able to quickly understand our challenge and offered up a detailed solution that included using ShipStation automation rules and a fairly simple tagging system in Shopify to allow us to seamlessly tag and identify orders to be fulfilled using third party billing.
The expert also helped us capture custom shipping information from each order that requested third party billing to allow us to set up the automation rules easily. The expert not only recommended solutions and provided instructions for how to Implement them, but also helped us with a considerable amount of testing before implementation to ensure that the solutions suggested would do exactly what we needed.
Throughout the process I felt very comfortable that I was fully supported and that my needs were heard and understood.

We primarily worked with two people. We worked with an account manager and a technical expert. Both were very responsive and professional.

What challenge were you trying to address with Konnectryx?
We were trying to find a way to connect Lightspeed to Salesforce because they couldn’t communicate with each other. Lightspeed is one of the best processing platforms; unfortunately, it doesn’t connect seamlessly with anything else.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Konnectryx is responsible for connecting Lightspeed to Salesforce so that the information that’s processed in the former comes up in the latter, and vice versa. They’ve also integrated RingCentral, which is our phone system, into Salesforce. This allows us to answer and track our calls on the screen.
Since Salesforce And Lightspeed don’t have an option for shipping, they’ve connected ShipStation to both of them. All of the data lives in one place, which is excellent because it was a mess before; things would get lost or deleted.
The project started very small, but we’re now also developing a website.

I work directly with the owner and his business partner. Also, 2–3 people from their team have been key in making sure everything works seamlessly.

I’m the president of a watch retail store located in Naples, Florida.
What challenge were you trying to address with Konnectryx?
I needed to automate and streamline our processes to handle the volume of our business.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Originally, I was trying to get help with integrating a CRM platform that had the ability to incorporate email, SMS, and other forms of communications between customers and our sales staff. We wanted to make our data and communication available through our POS (Point of Sales) and accounting systems, and have them flow smoothly.
We replaced our old CRM and accounting systems with new ones, and basically went through our entire system of computer programs that were either outdated, or didn’t suit our purposes. Everybody had a key role and provided input into the project. It was a process of bouncing off ideas, and getting everybody together to achieve a common goal. In addition, I provided Konnectryx with all the credentials for our existing platforms — they have access to everything.
Previously, we had a bunch of different programs that were simply stacked on top of each other, rather than an integrated system, so Konnectryx helped us integrate Salesforce, RingCentral, and several other programs to make our processes smoother.
Apart from that, I use Konnectryx for Salesforce, marketing cloud, and other parts of Salesforce marketing as we progress and add different components. They’ve been able to incorporate Salesforce’s marketing components from the start. It’s been an evolving process that didn’t necessarily start with marketing and advertising, but it ended up at this point.

They performed very well. In the beginning, we used Slack and other correspondents to communicate. Towards the end, we got a little bit less formal and started communicating via text, email, and phone.

What distinguishes Konnectryx from other providers are their ability to understand my business, the genuine care factor they bring, the clarity, the straightforwardness, and just getting the job done.

Our project is so big and there were definitely issues, but they aren’t necessarily on Konnectryx — there’s just a lot of different components that go on. We encountered an obstacle and we worked around it.
I also don’t think that a lot of companies have done what we’ve been doing — we sort of charted our own path and we’re one of the first to do this way of doing business. There’s a little bit of a learning curve, but there’s perseverance through the whole thing, and it’s as smooth as it could possibly be considering the scope of the project.
