Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
Project One involved an 8-week training program for our BDS team. We met 2x week in which the team was required to do homework such as drafting emails, creating sequences, writing snippets, call script outlines. We refined our ICP and by doing so, they began to truly think from the customer's POV. Just as importantly, the team found their own voices so that they felt confident and authentic.
Project 2 involved creating a new brand and Project 3 is a brand refresh and refined positioning and visuals:
Research on naming
Brand personality - authenticity and voice
Website design
Sales collateral
Social media assets
Marketing collateral
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The BDS team came out of the gates on fire. They are currently tracking three months ahead of schedule in spite of being down by one member.
Project 2 launched on time and and we are on schedule for Project 3.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
They had a sound project plan for all three. The only delays were on our end. Thankfully, JumpSeat built in cushions for this typical issue.
They were responsive for all our change requests, especially on one of the projects. Each change request was communicated well, less so as a CYA and more so as a reflection of their excellent communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
JumpSeat is more than an agency, they are an extension of my team and speak in my company's voice. This is the glue.
People always play such a critical part of any project and client- agency relationship. But people come and go. Thankfully there has not been any turnover on our team but even should that happen there is such a strong culture that I have no doubt another team member could step right in.
Are there any areas for improvement or something JumpSeat could have done differently?
Nothing as of yet.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the SVP of a last-mile parcel delivery company. I lead commercial operations, which encompasses business development, sales, and marketing.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with JumpSeat?
We needed help to improve our online presence and share our services with potential partners and clients.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
JumpSeat manages our social media marketing (SMM) strategy. They’ve created our target audiences and managed our advertising campaigns. During the discovery phase, JumpSeat analyzed our company to identify our business opportunities within our industry.
JumpSeat creates our LinkedIn content calendar and manages our lead-generation campaigns. They’ve also created Facebook campaigns, although we focus on LinkedIn since our company is focused on B2B services.
One of the campaigns JumpSeat has created was a series of fireside chat recordings. JumpSeat has created interviews in a podcast style between our staff members and important personalities in our industry. JumpSeat has also helped us with our fundraising campaign.
What is the team composition?
We work with JumpSeat’s SEO director, who has been leading our marketing efforts. We also work with a manager associate that helps with lead generation and data mining and a content writer that creates blog posts.
How did you come to work with JumpSeat?
I contacted JumpSeat through a referral.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $250,000 with JumpSeat.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with JumpSeat in September 2021, and our engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
JumpSeat has helped us increase our site traffic and impressions by about 200%. In terms of lead generation, the pipeline is around 20% larger than it was before. JumpSeat has helped us position our company and dial into the type of client that our company works best with. We now have a better understanding of our target audience.
How did JumpSeat perform from a project management standpoint?
JumpSeat meets deadlines and stays on budget. We communicate well through Slack and emails. We also have weekly meetings to review our project’s main points, which is very helpful for my team and our general project management.

JumpSeat has provided business consulting services to a startup. They’ve built the client's website, developed sales processes, facilitated marketing campaigns, and trained their employees.
JumpSeat has consistently delivered impressive results within the desired time frame. They've assisted with key initiatives, including new sales processes, marketing strategies, and organizational metrics. They've been flexible and positive and used Slack, Zoom, and Google Meet to communicate.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder and CEO of a startup.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with JumpSeat?
As a tech startup, it was hard for us to offer market salaries, especially to Americans. We hired JumpSeat to act as a ghost organization to get our product up and running.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
JumpSeat has helped us position ourselves and our company to better appeal to venture capitalists to gain funding. Unfortunately, minority-owned businesses don't get enough funding.
JumpSeat essentially helps us with anything we’d need from traditional full-time employees without having to invest in multiple market-rate salaries. They’ve worked behind the scenes to help us with various business needs. They help with anything from updating our website to facilitating marketing campaigns and helping us dust off old sales playbooks. When we need them to help us with sales efforts, they do.
They’re also responsible for training and developing our employees. When they saw that one of our team members was interested in sales, JumpSeat took it upon themselves to train that employee and get them up to speed on our processes.
What is the team composition?
We work with 6–7 team members at JumpSeat, including Dan (Founder).
How did you come to work with JumpSeat?
We’d had a bad experience with a bigger consulting firm, so we wanted to find a partner who had experience working with smaller, younger startups. JumpSeat came to us as a referral from one of our team members. I researched their background and found they were known for working with smaller companies.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested roughly $88,000 in the partnership with JumpSeat.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with JumpSeat in April 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They’ve been excellent partners who’ve helped us roll out several major initiatives. They’ve done a lot for us; we only work with a team of 6–7 people who accomplish the work of a 20-person team; it’s incredible. Since working with them, we’ve rolled out new metrics for our entire organization. We’ll also launch a new website and sales, social, and marketing processes this quarter.
The experience has been wild. There was an instance where Dan saw that I was working late to tighten up the product, as entrepreneurs do. Dan reached out and told me I was trying too hard; he instructed me to ask for exactly what I needed and said he’d do it. When I started asking for help and stopped trying to make things perfect, the JumpSeat team started producing exactly what I needed.
How did JumpSeat perform from a project management standpoint?
JumpSeat has been flexible with us; they’ve been easygoing partners even though they’re fantastic at meeting project deadlines and budgets. They’ve also helped manage our team as we’ve grown. We’ve learned a lot from them; we’ve even let go of some of our best teammates, regardless of excuses, because we don’t miss deadlines.
As a younger company, it’s challenging for us to focus on growth. We focus solely on proving our concept and rolling out our product, and JumpSeat helps us do the rest. They’ve increased our monthly fee to cover the costs of training our employees, which has worked well because we don’t have the infrastructure to do that ourselves.
As for project management tools, our product team uses a range of esoteric tools. We cut back on Trello to reduce our spending and meet sales goals. For our social operations, we use HubSpot and other CRM tools. We typically use Slack, Zoom, and Google Meet to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
JumpSeat is a true consulting partner for the little guy. I’ve been most impressed with their expertise regarding startups and their positivity. Startups are complicated, and people think they’ll become the next billionaire, but challenges inevitably arise. JumpSeat has invigorated that final push of positivity to get us into the ninth inning and across the finish line.
The problem with bigger consulting firms is they claim they can help younger companies but instead focus on living, breathing companies that can pay high salaries and fees. JumpSeat is different than other consulting firms. They understand we’re not perfect and that we want to prove our concept, and they help us accordingly.
JumpSeat is the most affable and positive partner I’ve ever engaged. I’ve worked with other vendors who’ve only cared about their bottom line. However, JumpSeat is here for the little guy, and they always stay true to that business model.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Everyone has things they could improve on, but we’ve developed a great flow with JumpSeat.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If you have an idea for your product but are unsure how to take the next step, hire JumpSeat and let them make the process easier for you. They’ll uplift your company and make the experience seamless; that’s what they do.

JumpSeat has provided branding services for a career exploration platform. They've created a logo, website, press release, and other marketing collateral and assisted with brand guidelines and copywriting.
JumpSeat has successfully established a robust brand identity, commended by the end clients. The team has worked hard to deliver the platform and keep the client on the same page. They are receptive, timely, and cost-effective in the workflow.
The client submitted this review online.
BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a member of the MedGeo Ventures board and have been advising the team on marketing. MedGeo is a Zillow-like, map-based career exploration platform for medical association members.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire JumpSeat, and what were your goals?
We are a start-up and we hired JumpSeat to help us develop our brand strategy, including articulating our brand manifesto, visual identity and brand narrative. JumpSeat also helped us develop campaign concepts and copy targeted to associations, employers and physicians.
SOLUTION
How did you select JumpSeat?
We were looking for a strategic partner to help us develop our brand strategy and initial campaign. One of our founders had worked with JumpSeat previously and recommended the team because they were adept at developing strategy and they could be counted on to execute.
Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.
The JumpSeat team scheduled two workshops with our team to articulate our vision and get our insights on the brand positioning, personality and archetype. JumpSeat then presented a draft of the brand essence and four creative concepts, including mood boards, visual identity and copy. We loved the initial concepts and decided to move forward with two options.
The team then produced the final deliverables, which included brand standards, a website, a press release, a pitch deck, and Google document templates. This marketing toolkit has become the foundation for how we are positioning MedGeo with association partners.
How many people from the JumpSeat team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked directly with Dan, the owner, and Jess, Director of B2B Marketing. They were terrific to work with and ensured our deliverables were delivered on time and within budget.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
This brand work has been the foundation for how MedGeo is going to market. It is the face of MedGeo and it is how we are positioning our new company to medical associations, employers and physicians. We have used the materials in a number of meetings and have received great feedback. We are seen as a new innovative solution for career platforms.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
The timeline for the project deliverables was very aggressive as we were aiming to launch our new company in just 8 weeks. Dan and the team did a terrific job managing the deliverables and keeping us updated on the progress. They were very good about listening to our feedback and incorporating our input. The project was delivered on time and on budget.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The team has done an amazing job diving into our business and helping us compellingly articulate our brand. We were thrilled with the brand insights and strategy they developed - and how they made the brand come to life in creative.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
We had a lot of communication back and forth via email and we were moving really quickly. It may have been helpful to schedule a weekly touch base/status call.

JumpSeat has developed our website from scratch. In terms of core features, the website is aimed at presenting us as a new business solution to the marketplace. No one else is doing this business in the US, so the website is geared toward telling that story to an industry that hasn’t heard of it before.
At present, they provide maintenance and hosting services for the website. They’ve also created marketing materials, press releases, and sales decks. Our team will have a marketing relationship with them moving forward. Moreover, JumpSeat has helped me launch my LinkedIn account and created a LinkedIn page for the business.

The team has stayed on budget and met all of our deadlines — they’ve been excellent. To communicate, we use emails, Zoom, Teams, and phone calls. Their always accessible to us.
What did you find most impressive about them?
JumpSeat has a good understanding of the infrastructure industry. They’ve done work in trucking, railroads, and other similar industries. As a result, they’ve got up to speed quickly.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any.
