Into then reviewed the project requirements and develops a proposal outlining the scope of work, deliverables, timeline, and cost. I like that Intobi’s designer suggests things outside the box; the platform’s UX/UI now looks better. When I worked with UI and UX designers before, I had to tell them everything. Whereas here, their designer takes the initiative to bring new ideas, which has been very useful.
How did Intobi perform from a project management standpoint?
I give Intobi an excellent project management rating; they follow our deadlines. We have meetings at least once a week to discuss what needs to be done next. Sometimes, we have another meeting during the week if we have any follow-ups. We have open communication, and they are always there, even on the weekends, which is really great. We use monday.com, Slack, Google Meet, and Zoom for communication. So far, everything has been good.

I think their strength is in how they think outside the box and the creativity they bring to the process.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Even with the current situation — the Russian Invasion of Ukraine — they’re doing brilliant work. To be honest, I don’t have anything negative to say.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the CEO of the IT business and mainly involved in Custom Software Development.

For what projects/services did your company hire Intobi, and what were your goals?
I am managing quite a big list of different IT projects.
Had a chance to work with different individuals as well as with different companies. They were good and bad but still not the Level I was looking for.
Nowadays the biggest challenge is to find a good company that will be providing not just reliable software but will play like your tech partner and will be willing to help your business but not just take care of technologies. I found Intobi as the right company which is sharing all the responsibilities and challenges together with my business.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I posted my job post on a freelance marketplace and I am glad that Intobi Guys contacted me there.

In the beginning, I have high-level specs regarding what needs to be done. When I start a new project with Intobi - we all discuss the details together, split it into milestones, put tasks in Jira, and after that Guys start the work.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Atm, I have 3 team members from the Intobi side: Daniel as a Project Manager, Alex, and Mike as Full-Stack devs. Expanding a team with Intobi will be quick and easy as soon as I need it.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The biggest Value here is that Intobi can set up and build the right team quickly, so I'm pretty confident in the resources and I do know we can expand the Team in a few weeks when we need to boost and strengthen our development ability.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
I'm hiring a small Team from Intobi, so there is no need to use Scrum, but for me, it is enough to have weekly and daily calls/demos to discuss progress and our plans for the coming days.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They really do care about our business and work as our partners, not just an independent company. This pleasantly surprised me.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Well, guys are pretty flexible and always happy to adjust the working schema once I provide them with the feedback. So we are growing and improving our works iteratively. I am quite happy throughout our work together.

At first, we hired Intobi to carry out small web projects, but after a while, it turned into a full-time and long-term cooperation. The main goal was to rewrite the app, improve existing functionality and add new features.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We were just looking for someone on a freelance, but then we managed to get to know Andrew, and looking at the previous experience and Intobi cases, I realized that they would be ideal for my tasks. I appreciated their approach to work and how they treat their clients. These were the decisive factors in my choice.

The first step was to migration Shopify from WP CMS to Shopify CMS + adding new logic. The second step is to migrate the web app from outdated .NET technology to the latest .NET 5 version and adding new functionalities. The third step is to continue the development of the web app and add new features.

At the beginning of our cooperation, we started with one developer, but for now, we have hired two guys: a front-end developer and one full-stack developer. Also, from their side, the Project Manager helps us to manage the workflow

I can say with certainty that our application has become much more stable and fresh, with brand-new features. For our business is really important.

We communicate on Skype. Developers constantly follow a clear tasks list and keep us updated daily on calls or over-chats on what they are currently working on. I’m satisfied with it.

I think 100% transparency and full immersion in the process. I like the way of how they built the system of everyday communication.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
In my opinion, there is always room for improvement, as in any business. If Intobi will continue to work in this spirit, they will certainly become even more competent in all aspects.
