We faced a problem with our outdated website design. It was created more than 10 years ago and had become irrelevant. Both lead designer and project manager were easy to communicate with and answered the same minute if we had any questions. We had our first meeting in person with both of them and all our design related team. Later we met via Google meets. All meetings were well-organized and always in time. Intex Agency recommended themselves as a professional and responsible team which care of their clients.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
As a graphic designer I was positively impressed with comprehensive awareness of the Intex Agency team. They showed themselves as professionals in web design and UX and surprised me with great solutions to every issue.

We started with building several marketing presentations for our upcoming workshops and other marketing and branding materials. We provided topics that needed to be highlighted and afterward we got several visually designed ideas between which we selected what we liked the most.
We were very happy with the results which we’ve got, then we decided to entrust the development of lead generating WordPress based websites for our services. One of our main requirements was to develop highly secured and visually appealing websites, on the other hand, they should be very friendly from a content management perspective.
On each website the scheme was quite the same: After several sessions, we approved page design, then the team started the development stage, after the development, we had short testing and study session, on how to use the admin panel and launched the websites.

Usually, we were interacting with the tech lead manager and project managers, several times during the presentation or brainstorming sessions we were contacted by designers.

We are still getting warm leads from these websites, but in general, after this successful year campaign we’ve got new long-term clients: Dozen of solo and small practices (with up 5-7 providers) and several large multi-specialty practices (with up to 15 providers).

In-house, we are using Microsoft teams for communication, and guys appeared very flexible in this perspective and were also connected to our system. We always had 2 weekly updates (online calls) during the design phase and once-a-week calls during the development and testing phases.

We were impressed by their perfect communication skills, deep attitude, and the possibility to be on late calls because of the different time zones. INTEX Agency showed a high level of responsibility and real knowledge of their job.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Definitely, they need to grow the number of people on the team, everything else was perfect. I just want to wish you good luck and say that we have a lot of upcoming projects that will be doing together.

We had a kick-off meeting to clearly discuss the goals, we then passed on tentative designs of what the store would look like and what the main sections would be. Intex Agency took over the complete UX/UI design of the store and did a fantastic job of it. They first presented the designs, explained the technology that they would be using to build those designs and with our approval went onto execute and bring those designs to life. The go live date predicted by them was achieved exactly without any delay.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of Carpe Diem, an app for quickly booking beauty services. We’re developing an app that will allow 24/7 online booking so that any user can book a beauty service in three clicks.
What challenge were you trying to address with INTEX agency?
I engaged INTEX agency to build the user flow, build wireframes, investigate our potential user's requirements, and for UI/UX design.
What was the scope of their involvement?
INTEX agency helped us with UI/UX design. They started with user research; the team collected feedback from almost 2,000 people in over 10 countries. Most of the research was in Ukraine, where we will launch the app.
They interviewed the users about what they’d like to see on the app and the difficulties they’d encountered booking a beauty salon. From that research, INTEX agency defined four user personas.
After that, the team built the wireframes that define what will happen with every single click on the app. They designed the user flow with all its features using Figma.

Overall, we worked with around eight people from INTEX agency.
How did you come to work with INTEX agency?
Before finding them, I had done thorough research on Google about IT companies and HR companies that provided IT personnel, and it hadn’t worked out. I found INTEX agency through Upwork, had a quick interview, and knew right away that this was a great team.
We synchronized from the very first word about what we wanted and what needed to be done. During our second call, INTEX agency delivered a complete description of what they would do step by step, how long it would take, and the cost.

We spent less than $15,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from November 2019–April 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Thanks to INTEX agency’s work, we have four new investors for this app, enabling us to keep building it.
The team never provided raw work. Their deliverables were finalized and nicely done versions that needed minor amendments. Every time we discussed changes, they would deliver a perfectly done new version by the following week.
INTEX agency also had a great ability to pick up our requirements from the first conversation, so we didn’t spend extra time explaining anything.
How did INTEX agency perform from a project management standpoint?
They were super proactive; they worked extra hours for their own curiosity and were willing to sacrifice their own time to deliver the results. For example, we had demo shows for the beauty salons, and the team sometimes sacrificed their weekends to hop on the calls to explain the user flow and demonstrate the app’s screens.
Our communication was very easy, structured, and didn’t take much of my time — I only had to explain things once. We used Google Hangouts, Telegram, Slack, Skype, and Zoom. For project management, we used Asana.
We had weekly calls to review the results and discuss what should be improved. They always provided me with a deliverable the day before the call, so I had the time to check, review, and make my own opinion about it.
I was also very happy in terms of the timeline. Overall, INTEX agency did a great job from an organizational point of view.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was impressed by how much the INTEX agency team liked what they did. They didn’t just work for the money; they were also obsessed with the idea and worked for fun.
Additionally, they were very honest about their billable hours. I received a full report of what they delivered and how much it cost, so there were no hidden charges.
INTEX agency’s team was proactive and structured. They weren’t asking questions every single minute. Instead, they would send me an email with maybe 20 questions and give me time to answer. That way, they would receive a unified batch of information.

We launched a new design studio and needed a website that matched our design aesthetic and clearly communicated our point of view and position within the design realm. We designed the website in-house and worked with the Intex team to build out and improve the website. The website needed to be fully custom, differentiate itself from the rest, and beautifully simplistic in look - but robust in function.

The kick-off meeting was the first step in meeting with the team, discussing my ideas and goals, and showing them a mock-up of the desired design. From there we created PSD files of the website (both web and mobile), these were then pass along to the Intex team, from there they began to build the website. A few coordination meetings on Zoom, to clarify intent and design, ask questions and provide feedback. They suggested excellent edits to the mobile and web features, including adding animations etc.

I worked directly with Evgeniy - he was incredibly helpful in all areas of the project, communicated very quickly and clearly, always available to answer my questions etc. Very helpful all around - great experience.

I'm massively happy with the product they created for us - the website is excellent, works well and meets all of our needs!

We worked primarily through Upwork, which is a handy tool for messaging, contracts, forwarding files, and tracking progress. They were very proactive, and asked questions or clarification when needed and took it upon themselves to provide solutions when needed.

They are the only web development team that truly understood design and the importance of design, details and specificity. They made sure that the design and the functionality worked together and were equally important. They made the vision come to life on web and mobile flawlessly.
