I lead business model innovation for the Asia-Pacific Division of a large multinational healthcare company. 

However, I’ve worked with Innovantes in several other positions, including a health tech startup I launched.

What challenge were you trying to address with Innovantes IT Solutions LLP? 

In my first engagement with Innovantes, they assisted our health tech startup with the development of mobile products. After, they built a few more products in a few more companies. 

Finally, we’re partnering with them in my current organization, a multinational healthcare company, where they assist with web development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our startup, which was essentially a doctor network, had partnered with a US-based company to develop all of our technology. However, given the nature of our company, we needed to update our software capabilities pretty regularly. 

Innovantes helped us rebuild our modern mobile products. They used Python and MySQL, and migrated our original platform from Node.js onto a new system.

The team also provided dev-ops support, with their founder acting as our own CTO. 

In our web development projects, they support some of our higher-profile hospital clients. For this project, they use PHP and MySQL.

What is the team composition?

We’ve interacted with a large amount of Innovantes’ team members. Their CEO, lead developer, and designer have been some of our main contacts.

How did you come to work with Innovantes IT Solutions LLP?

I was referred to Innovantes by a prominent contact when I was in the health tech space. 

What is the status of this engagement?

My first engagement with Innovantes began in June 2016, and the work is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve greatly appreciated Innovantes’ ability to consistently support us throughout the development lifestyle of our projects. The team’s engagement levels are strong, not just with us but with our clients. 

With the startup piece, we tracked data on Google Analytics on a daily basis and saw an increase in user traction. At one point, we integrated Mixpanel as well, and noticed really great results on both platforms following the launch of Innovantes’ work.

In our current project, we’re still in the development stage. We have plans to launch in the next month or so, and are confident about the software’s performance based on the success of their previous deliverables for us. 

How did Innovantes IT Solutions LLP perform from a project management standpoint?

From a management perspective, they’re highly proactive early on, making sure processes are defined well before they begin working on tasks. It was really helpful to have them a few steps ahead in the beginning.

The team uses Trello, which allows our internal team to access consistent updates on the software lifecycle. We keep in touch over Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Innovantes understands the unique healthcare market extremely fluently, which is unusual and impressive. Their approach to project and client management is fluid, maintaining one point of contact across all aspects of the software. The team is always engaged and proactively works to accomplish tasks.

They take a really agile approach towards accommodating both us and our clients, especially given how rapidly our needs and goals change.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing negative I can say about the engagement so far.

I am the CTO of one of the largest laboratory diagnostic chains in North India.

We had hired Innovantes to develop mobile applications for our diagnostic chain. That mandate got expanded and over time Innovantes has provided us with a host of tech solutions helping us in our digital transformation journey. A areas where they have helped us include technology-enabled sales process management solutions, CRM development, feedback management. A key initiative that Innovantes spearheaded for us was to develop a digital solution for B2B expansion.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal of the project was to establish a digital model to rapidly increase our footprint. The intent was to increase our B2B network and expand our market share in the B2C segment.

How did you select this vendor?

Innovantes was referred to us by our existing client.

Describe the project in detail.

We required a way to improve our growth by competitively differentiating ourselves in the market and better meet the needs of the patients. The project was intended to rapidly increase our partner base and onboard new business partners. We also wanted to automate and digitize the entire patient journey right from booking to reporting and feedback management to drive efficiencies. The core solution developed consisted of mobile apps for patients, B2B partners, and CRM applications and was integrated with our LIS.

The team consisted of Project Manager, Delivery manager, lead developers, and quality analysts.

We have seen significant productivity improvements and increased adoption by our partners and users.

We are impressed with Innovantes' understanding of the healthcare domain. Being a complicated and evolving field, there are few who understand the domain well.
