Infracore identified and brought to our attention some security gaps with a roadmap for remediation. We gave them the approval to do the work necessary to secure our infrastructure. They completed the task on time and on budget. We were very impressed! This led to our organization having:

We’re very busy running our business, so we didn’t have the time to get into the weeds. Infracore provided the perfect amount of information to keep us informed on what was being done and by when. We really appreciated their awareness of our lack of capacity and not taking up too much of our time while they performed the tasks we had approved. 

The Infracore team always delivers items on time and responds to our needs in detail and thoughtful in responses to ensure questions were answered. They intentionally included multiple technical team members as part of their recommendations which speaks to their culture of collaboration and the ideas of others makes everyone better.

We needed help to setup a secure network for a complex AV environment to be deployed for a high-profile client. We asked for the network equipment and end-point devices to be configured properly and hardened to ensure the highest level of security. We needed an appropriate monitoring platform to be identified and deployed to ensure a previously communicated SLA would be maintained and any outages would be identified and resolved in a timely fashion. 

The last deliverable for this project was for Infracore to produce detailed documentation for every service and device in order for the client personnel to be able to manage all components independently.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Infracore put together a detailed project plan and we had weekly status meetings with everyone that was involved to stay up to date on completed tasks and to remove any roadblocks. Throughout the project, the Infracore team did an amazing job communicating their progress and any unexpected challenges.

Infracore has a tried and true project management methodology that kept us in the loop throughout the project. It was refreshing to see them so focused on hitting their deadlines and also calling out any potential delays as soon as they found out instead of waiting until it was too late.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Most IT services companies we've dealt with in the past would make a lot of promises but there was not a lot of communication once the project started. This would typically result in misunderstandings and our desired outcomes not being met. It's very clear that Infracore has internal training programs that focus on communication and capacity management. 

Every team member we encountered was following the same playbook and this has a lot to do with our high level of satisfaction with the services Infracore provided to our company.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Infracore could have done differently?

Nothing big or major comes to mind. We appreciated the weekly meetings, but it's possible we could've achieved the same outcome with status update meetings every other week.

We met with many different IT support firms and one company stood out from the rest: Infracore. We hired Infracore as our managed IT service provider to act as our IT department and take care of all our IT needs.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I measure success by the level of satisfaction of our employees, both in response times to tickets submitted and quality of work, the uptime of our systems, and any security issues we had to address. The feedback from our employees has always been very positive toward Infracore’s service level.
Our systems rarely had any performance or stability issues (Infracore is very good about communicating maintenance windows well in advance of the work). We did not have any security issues during the many years that Infracore has managed our IT systems.

Infracore’s team members are excellent communicators. They also insist on having regular sync-up meetings to make sure we stay up to date on the status of projects and to bring to our attention any potential roadblocks. In 2013, we were a 15 person company expanding to 50 in a relatively short timespan, and needed to get a hold on our IT needs quickly, without further increasing our headcount unnecessarily. Infracore came in and completely filled all of our IT needs, both in-house and remote. From day one, they acted as if they were employees of our company, and have seamlessly filled the entire IT department for the duration of our relationship (which has now further expanded into cybersecurity and cloud management requirements).

Infracore provided us with an IT manager and 2 full-time resources (one in-house), and essentially took the entire IT operations off of our (my) plate.

Absolutely seamless. Our IT manager was there every step of the way, and acted as if he was part of the company from day one. It was as if we had an IT Director in-house on day one. Further, about two years into the engagement, one of the techs left Infracore, and they replaced him seamlessly - we didn't have to deal with the hiring of a new resource.

Their ownership level is outstanding! They told us from day one that they'd be acting in the best interest of our company, and for the next 8 years, they proved it daily.
