I searched online and I found Clutch. Hyperlink Infosytems was rated highly so I decided to give them a try. So far the partnership has been working out.

This project is in the $50,000 range.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project is still in progress, we’re going to launch the application in a couple months.

How did Hyperlink Infosystem perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was the easy part since I’m in India. The Hyperlink Infosystem team is very easy going. They’re very adjusting as well. You tell them something and they make it happen.

What distinguishes Hyperlink Infosystem from other providers?

Hyperlink Infosystem focuses on the long term, especially on relationship building. Those are two things that are very important. You can always go back to them for the next phase. I know now that I don’t have to think about finding another partner.

Is there anything Hyperlink Infosystem could have improved or done differently?

I don’t have any qualm with Hyperlink Infosystem, it is really only the Indian market as a whole. It’s very hard to find quality companies with a focus on integrity, so I believe they were a bit skeptical of me as a client also being located in India.

We have just launched our services [October, 2015].

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

I really appreciated the work that Hyperlink Infosystem provided. They were very helpful, responsive, and very fast.

What distinguishes Hyperlink Infosystem from other providers?

Before we launched the company, I wanted to add two or three features to the application. It was necessary for us to have those features included. I was able to pick up the phone and call them and explain the situation, they opened their office and called in their staff to meet the last minute requests. Hyperlink was able to give us what we wanted. I’ve never heard of any company that would open their office at such a late time to do work for their client. Hyperlink Infosystem was available for me 24/7.

We have a ticketing company very similar to TicketMaster in the States, the difference being that we operate in South America.

I’m the owner and chief executive officer [CEO] of the company.

We have a platform that’s web based. I needed to have clients be able to book their tickets through a mobile application on both iOS and Android.

How did you come to work with Hyperlink InfoSystem?

I found Hyperlink InfoSystem online. I researched what they had previously done and they seemed to have a very good staff. We managed to get things going quickly even though we had a large difference in time zones. They quickly understood my concept. 

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

This is an ongoing partnership and I still have a contract with them. I’d rather not share the financial aspect of the project.

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

Hyperlink InfoSystem is really knowledgeable. The only reason it took longer to complete the application is because I changed my requirements during the project. The process as a whole was actually really smooth. I’m really happy. Whenever I asked for something new, they would make sure to include my requirements. Hyperlink went above and beyond my expectations as far as providing functionality requirements to my app. 

What distinguishes Hyperlink InfoSystem from other providers?

Hyperlink InfoSystem made great suggestions for improvement. I could tell they really grasped the concept. Payment processing is very different in South America. The way we do payments is different than anywhere else in the world and they grasped that concept quickly. It was just a really good experience.

Is there anything Hyperlink InfoSystem could have improved or done differently?

I don’t think so. Whenever we were not moving as quickly as I would have liked, it was usually caused on my end. Hyperlink InfoSystem is really flexible. I can’t think of any way to make the partnership better.

I'm building a photo and video sharing app. This app will allow users to upload photos and videos and build their own profile. I've worked on the app for a while for people to connect socially. There's going to be new features in the app – stuff that we haven't seen in Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook.

What business challenge were you trying to address with Hyperlink InfoSystem?

I'm based in London development agencies here are very expensive. I went online. I was looking at outsourcing to the Philippines or Ukraine. Development in Eastern Europe still didn't fit my price range and I found Clutch, which popped up on a Google search. I went for it. I looked at a list of different companies. I found Hyperlink and went from there.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

It was less than $10,000. It's a simple application. It's not that sophisticated.

What distinguishes Hyperlink InfoSystem from other providers?

I've never met a company like Hyperlink InfoSystem and the way they built with honesty and integrity. I think that makes them very different from other companies. When I spoke with the CEO [Harnil Oza], he assigned a senior project manager. I've never experienced a senior project manager like this in my life. The communication was absolutely fantastic. They gave me full insight into every aspect of the project. They provided R&D [research and development], which helped make decisions easier in terms of how I wanted the interface of the app to look. They did everything you could ask for. The project manager was the best line of communication they had and was great with English. That's one thing you don't find with many offshore project managers. Typically, project managers are not very technical, they just get the message and send it to the developers or coders. The Hyperlink InfoSystem project manager I had is very good and a strong communicator.

In my day job, I work for a large tech company in Seattle, but my work with Hyperlink was regarding an app I wanted to build that would essentially act as a bathroom locator in India.

What was your goal in working with Hyperlink InfoSystem?

My son and I had the idea for the app and, while I was capable of developing it on my own, I didn't want to take the time to write the code.

SOLUTION

My son and I did a good bit of the design and wireframing. Hyperlink took care of the rest.

What was your process for selecting Hyperlink InfoSystem?

We looked around a couple websites and received a few quotes. We felt most comfortable with Hyperlink, and decided to go with them for the job.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

It was around $4,000.

What was the timeline of the project?

We first started identifying firms back in April [2015], I believe the work itself started in June and they should be wrapping up in a few weeks here [August 2015].

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

As the project hasn't been completed, it's too early to speak about the results. However, we are very pleased with the way things have progressed and the parts of the product that I have seen up to this point seem to be of a high quality.

What distinguishes Hyperlink InfoSystem from other providers?

I would say that Hyperlink InfoSystem's project management abilities exceeded my expectations. The cost was obviously very competitive, but I wasn't expecting them to be as diligent as they ended up being with communication and project management.

In hindsight, are there areas in which they could improve, or things you might do differently?

Not at this time. As I said, they still haven't delivered the final product, so things could change. But, at this time, I am highly satisfied.

Visma is a big ERP [enterprise resource planning] solution provider company, similar to SAP [systems, applications & products in data processing], for Scandinavia and North Europe. I left Visma a couple of months ago, and I started a couple of new ventures, but I still use Hyperlink InfoSystem. We used Hyperlink InfoSystem at Visma to introduce outsourcing.

What is your position?

The relationship started when I was the CIO at Visma.

What business challenge were you trying to address with Hyperlink InfoSystem?

I don't have a lot of money to throw around and I can't really hire a lot of people, so outsourcing is really the only way I can build the solutions needed. Some of my apps I build myself. However, specifically for the mobile part, I do that through outsourcing.

We started out with a broader scope, but I limited it down to mobile development and that's what Hyperlink is doing for me now, mobile development for iOS and Android.

How did you come to work with Hyperlink InfoSystem?

I found them online through one of the outsourcing web portals.

It was $10,000 plus.

What is the status of this engagement?

I've been working with Hyperlink InfoSystem for about 14 or 15 months now.

What distinguishes Hyperlink InfoSystem from other providers?

I stuck with Hyperlink InfoSystem after Visma for their knowledge and capabilities on the platforms I'm targeting. They have a good track record – that's why I selected them in the first place – and they haven't disappointed me so far. There are not bugs or anything like that on the solutions I have on mobile. There are the usual challenges that you experience when you are outsourcing, challenges related to culture and communication, but that's no different from any other company in the space.

Is there anything Hyperlink InfoSystem could have improved or done differently?

There are always small things, but one of the bigger challenges that comes up with outsourcing is about communication, predictability, and transparency. It's difficult to cross those hurdles with any company, so I don't think that's specific to Hyperlink InfoSystem.

I am one of the owners of a designated driver service. We drive people's cars with them in their own vehicle home. It's a mobile app available on iOS and Android.

What was your goal for working with Hyperlink InfoSystem?

Getting our ideas of how we wanted the app to perform was the big goal. We needed to go from the idea on paper to the app working in the practical world. 

SOLUTION

What was your process for selecting Hyperlink InfoSystem?

We had a previous development company that we were going to work with, but they had some technical issues and gaps in development capabilities to do what we wanted with the mobile app. We had a high recommendation from the owner of the company that was based in the U.S. that Hyperlink InfoSystem does a really nice job. So, we went with Hyperlink. The price point was very good compared to U.S. companies. We ended up moving our whole website and everything to Hyperlink since they did such a good job on the phone application.

Can you give a sense of the size of the initiative?

Our app development with Hyperlink cost us $15,000 to $20,000.

When was the work completed?

The partnership started six or eight months ago [November 2014]. It's ongoing work.

Do you have any statistics or metrics on the project?

We haven't been in production that long. Beta testing has been successful. We don't have exact numbers, but everything seems to be running smoothly. I'll have more information as we grow.

What differentiates Hyperlink InfoSystem from other partners?

Hyperlink InfoSystem's ability to solve a problem is incredible. I would come to them with difficult things on what we wanted the app to do, and they did a really good job researching to see if it could be done. I would have to say on every issue that I brought to them they were able to resolve it. It was a combination of them doing a lot of research and figuring out solutions to the problems that made the app successful.

Looking back on the work so far, is there any area that you think they could improve upon or that you might do differently?

I think Hyperlink InfoSystem does a great job. The only things to improve on are things that are out of their control. Being in different time zones is difficult. Sometimes, their dialect is difficult to understand, but that's what you're going to get with a company outside of the U.S. I wouldn't put any of that against them.

I’m the founder of a sales intelligence platform.

What was your goal for working with Hyperlink InfoSystem?

Our goal for working with Hyperlink InfoSystem was mostly meeting my desired time to market for our product. We were hiring employees to get the product to a production ready state, but were facing financial constraints. We began to look externally and wanted somebody who had experience with the type of development we were looking for.

SOLUTION

What was your process for selecting Hyperlink InfoSystem with which to work?

We put a bid up for the project and we used online bidding sources. Hyperlink InfoSystem was one of the bidders. We talked to different people and, at that point, we didn’t have any information about them, but they were able to win us over with some of the other projects they had done. So, that’s why we choose them. 

Can you give a sense of the size of the initiative in dollar terms or a personnel work-hour figure?

Our project with Hyperlink InfoSystem falls in the bucket of $10,000 to $50,000.

Is there anything unique or special about Hyperlink InfoSystem that really makes them stand out compared to other business partners?

The team at Hyperlink InfoSystem was very hardworking and very truthful. I’m not saying others are not but, considering the challenges of working cross-continent and cross-time zones, they were very responsive and understanding of our priorities. I was pleasantly surprised by that because my general impression has been that when you work with an outsource firm on another continent, the challenges can be great. 

Looking back on the work so far, is there any area that you think they could improve upon or that you might do differently?

I would suggest a better appropriation of resources. At one point, I needed an additional Java developer to come up to speed and help augment my team. However, Hyperlink InfoSystem resources were 100 percent booked. It took them a few weeks to get another resource up to speed for me.

I’m the owner of an on-demand beauty service. We provide services in the Washington, D.C., area. The services we provide are hair, nails, and makeup.

I needed an app. The Web development company I was with wasn’t able to provide me the app development services that I needed. I turned everything over to Hyperlink InfoSystem.

Hyperlink InfoSystem redeveloped my website as well as created two versions of my app – Android and iPhone.

The Web development company I was working with recommended I worked with Hyperlink InfoSystem. I briefly looked into a few other app development companies, but I felt with the price and turnaround time that I should go with Hyperlink.

The development for both versions of my app cost between $1,000 and $10,000.

I was pleased with Hyperlink InfoSystem's responsiveness and their willingness to meet deadlines. They were very punctual. They were very responsive.

Please describe your organization. What is your role and responsibilities?

I’m the president of Buddha Technologies operating out of Florida. We provide mobile application development services to end customers. We’ve been focusing more recently on medical mobile applications.

What was your goal for working with Hyperlink InfoSystem?

We started the venture about a year and a half ago. We hired another outsourced development company from India, which helped us to get started, but they did not scale very well. The code was not written in a clean format. It wasn’t very easy for our developers to maintain the code and add new features. I switched to someone within the U.S. and it was even worse. We found Hyperlink InfoSystem, and we discussed the project at hand. Harnil Oza, the owner of Hyperlink InfoSystem, assured me we wouldn’t encounter the same issues with them. 

SOLUTION

Please describe the scope of their work.

When we interviewed Hyperlink InfoSystem they committed to modifying the code to a much cleaner format within four weeks, and they met that timeline. They gave good updates from a project management standpoint, and they were very engaged from the development standpoint. Within one month, we were able to update the app in the App Store. Since then, we’ve added more features to the app utilizing Hyperlink InfoSystem. We’ve been in constant talks of other projects that are coming down our pipe.

What was your process for selecting Hyperlink InfoSystem with which to work?

I don’t remember how we found Hyperlink InfoSystem exactly. Once we came across them, we were able to interview their team to see if they had the competency and met our requirements as far as quality of work that can be delivered.

Are you satisfied with their performance?

I didn’t expect much, but they’ve blown me away with their level of commitment and their quality of service. The quality of code they delivered is bar none – the best I’ve seen provided to me thus far. Their developers absolutely know what they’re doing. They’re a great team. They deserve to be successful in this space. There are very few outsourced companies that provide the level of service that they do. They deserve to have a chance in the U.S. market. They do fantastic work.

Looking back on the work so far, is there any area that you think they could improve upon or that you might do differently?

I can’t think of anything. Any time we’ve encountered a challenge, they are very quick to respond. They work during the weekend if they need to. They have very good processes in place to make sure there are checks and balances so we don’t go down the wrong path. Coming from bad experiences their team is a breath of fresh air. I wouldn’t change my engagement with them at all.
