We were looking to increase revenue from email sales. We had already placed email flows in place but they were not converting as high as we expected, we then turned to Hustler Marketing for help.

By personal recommendation and former acquaintance with the owner.

After filling out an initial marketing brief, Hustler conducted market research into our niche. They then suggested a course of action which suited us, creating new email flows for our shop combined with pre-scheduled email campaigns.

What was the team composition?

We mainly work with our dedicated account managers who gather insight from us and then lead Hustler's team of copywriters and designers. The Hustler team comes back to us with ideas for new campaigns and we approve the content.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The results from email sales have gone up and at times account for the majority of revenue in our shop.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We usually approve email creatives 2 weeks in advance which is very helpful to be on top of things and not create everything at the last minute. The workflow is very structured and easy to manage.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We're impressed with their constant strive for improvement in all aspects. They care about their business which makes me feel safe knowing that they will be here in a year, 5 years and probably longer.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

During the month of November workload for the Hustler team goes up due to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This year we received a letter from the owner explaining how the teams worked hard and that they ask if we could increase the pay for the month (it wasn't a request, more like a favor being asked).

I'd much rather be told in advance that the fee for November (or any other month) will increase by X% if we decide to add more email campaigns than what our usual pack includes. And then decide if I'd like to take the extra "pack".

It's awesome, roughly 40 - 50% of our monthly revenue comes from email marketing!

Communication is very effective and easy via Slack with the Account Manager. She really understands what I want and implements exactly what I want. She is also very understanding, polite, and has a good work ethic and attitude. She will deliver a monthly report regarding the results.

Their ability to grow massively as a company and can collaborate effectively among team members is impressive.

I can't think of any at the moment

They have a talented team of strategists, designers, copywriters, etc who are very experienced in the industry and they understand our needs as an ecommerce business.

We worked with a few people in the company to set up our account, but mainly have 1 point of contact who is very helpful!

We went from no email flows to building out everything and now we generate 17% of our revenue from flows and around 15% from the campaigns that they run for us.

Every month we have our account manager send us a month-end report with everything detailed. Always available to communicate through slack and they answer right away.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They experts in their field and they're also open to doing other jobs. I've never had a time where I asked them if they can help us with something other than emails and they said no.

I don't think there's anything they can improve on because honestly they're system and procedures are flawless.
