Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and CEO of First Fruits Business Ministry. We own two patents directed at methods to reduce body fat, as well as three clinical trials that validate the efficacy of our natural products.

What challenge were you trying to address with Harvest Growth?
Our website is trim, and we felt that the one piece we were missing was advertising to get our message out and educate our consumers. Harvest Growth created an impactful, educational infomercial.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started by working through all our points of differentiation: in our products, our company, etc. Then, Harvest Growth quickly developed a neat dialogue based on that information, drafting, and redrafting. One of our team members acted as the spokesperson for the infomercial. She flew out to Harvest Growth’s headquarters for a couple of days, and they worked on filming and editing the piece.
We created both a one-minute and a two-minute infomercial, and then John and his team introduced us to key people in a media buying company to help us distribute our infomercials. The video is live-action and educational, but there is animation of someone using our product. We also incorporated testimonials from people who’ve used our product. Harvest Growth helped at every stage of planning for the video: scriptwriting, storyboarding, casting, and interviewing.
Our website and social media were already in motion, but John and his team supplied information that would strengthen our social presence so it would be consistent with the infomercial.
How did you come to work with Harvest Growth?
We’d been working on improving our social media and website before we met Harvest Growth, and the vendor we were working with mentioned a number of Facebook and Instagram groups we might enjoy. I saw some of Harvest Group’s ads on Facebook — and they were high-performing. John himself was straightforward and professional, as well as a really easygoing person to work with.
We did our research, and John (Founder) and his company had helped several other companies communicate their message and translate that into future sales. We were impressed from the beginning, as the first thing they wanted to do was preliminary research to make sure they could actually help us. Their findings were strong, and we moved to the next step.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We needed to build consistency in message, and Harvest Growth helped so much to achieve that result. We don’t have metrics yet, but the infomercials will definitely educate our customers.
In addition to our videos, they divided all the footage into five 25-second clips for no additional cost. These were very helpful to share with our social media and website teams. There was no jealousy either; they just wanted us to be successful.

They’ve been available any time we’ve had a question or needed additional information.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their responsiveness is impressive. I was trained that responding quickly and professionally is the most important expectation to fulfill, and I was so impressed with their team; they were a perfect fit. Sometimes, we even got things done in a matter of minutes even though we were a few thousand miles away from each other.

I’m a managing partner of a company that sells a microwave accessory, allowing families to heat up more than one dish at a time.

What challenge were you trying to address with Harvest Growth?
They’re providing us with SEO, PPC, and digital marketing. Our goal was to find a way to sell our product online and at a reasonable cost. We’re a startup, so we have a budget.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Harvest Growth has been instrumental in setting up our online Shopify store and presence, as well as creating all our branding and producing a number of videos. They’ve also utilized some of our existing video. One video they created was a product demonstration video, and we provided them with testimonial clips to use. The videos they created are live-action and done in Harvest Growth’s studio.
They’ve developed a Facebook and Instagram campaign, including coming up with all the assets, be they language, pictures, and videos. Their team has also enhanced the logo that we already had and helped put together the label for our product.
In the future, they might help with a retail campaign that we’re going to do. We’re currently in conversations to expand their services into Google and some other channels, like Amazon.

We’re very satisfied; we’re tracking toward our goals right now in terms of conversion rates and ROI, and the quality of the work has been first-class. There have been a couple of Shopify glitches, but we moved through those.
The initial feedback has been very positive on all their work. We’re very happy with our relationship, and we’re continuing to move forward.

They’ve been very good. The only tools they’re using are the analytics and reporting. They always inform us of what the schedule is for our campaigns.

We launched and we are ROAS positive in a month and maintaining. When the test period closes and we solidify the content/copy variations that perform best and expand. Our website has seen an uptick in traffic, and our pixel is getting smarter and smarter.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Really good. They keep it light and efficient with small, agile teams. I have one main point of contact. It keeps things organized and flowing well. Their process is designed to eliminate needless activities.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
ROI above 1 in a month after launch and steady. We’ve achieved our main objective. They handle everything I’m not interested in expeditiously and are willing to walk me through anything I am curious about.
Lastly, I’ve never met them and they make me feel like I’m working with a friend. They’re effective without being stiff, serious, or overly regimented. I SPECIFICALLY looked for this quality in the process of finding a marketing team.

I’d love slightly more fluidity in communication for quick questions or thoughts. Email and scheduling meetings to talk on the phone 1-1.5 days out can be clunky and hinder flow. But, completely understand they’ve got to streamline for all of their clients.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Boogie Board makes quality reusable writing and creativity products that help you play, create, learn, live, and work better. Our products are in major retailers across the globe, such as Walmart, Costco, Target, etc.
In 2020, we started focusing on building up the e-commerce side of the business. As the Senior Marketing Manager, I oversee all areas of marketing including brand, content development, product marketing, and distribution, and all areas of digital marketing.

For what projects/services did your company hire Harvest Growth?
We were looking to start doing paid social advertising to help increase the sales on our direct to consumer store.
What were your goals for this project?
We were looking to establish a paid social foundation and start driving sales from that channel to determine the viability of it.
SOLUTION
How did you select Harvest Growth?
We were looking for a company that could help us think through and implement and optimize a plan for the best ways to leverage paid social to drive sales on our DTC store--in a very short amount of time.
Our senior leadership works with a consultant who passed their information along. We met with Harvest Growth a couple of times and started off with a small campaign to get a feel for how we worked together and what results we could expect.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
We worked with Harvest Growth on initial video ideas, shared our overall goals for the project and the expedited timeline. They provided a strategic media plan and helped us execute our initial videos.
Once the videos were approved and the campaigns built, they got everything up and running. Only took a few weeks from start to finish, which was incredible given what we asked from them. We've had weekly reporting calls where they share overall results as well as optimization recommendations based on those results.
What was the team composition?
I've worked primarily with their marketing director, who handles all the campaign creation and optimization, as well as their CEO.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The initial campaigns that they ran helped us grow sales on our site more than we anticipated. Overall for the site, we were up 93% year over year and beat our monthly forecast by 119%, which was helped primarily from the paid social campaigns.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow between our teams was seamless. Their team is incredibly responsive and helpful, always getting things to us on time.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They are super knowledgeable about their space. They always provide amazing insights and have truly helped us get better. You can also tell they really care about their clients and will go above and beyond to help do what needs to get done.
Are there any areas for improvement?
So far, everything's been great.

After launching my first pelvic floor wellness product, I engaged with Jon (Founder & CEO) and Harvest Growth.

What was the scope of their involvement?
I never strategically did Facebook ads. I engaged with Harvest Growth to first perform some market research around my product to form a strategy that would fit within the market. After that data-gathering stage, we started discussing messaging and price points. Over the past few weeks, we started a Facebook campaign. They also assist with social media, checking in with me weekly.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with three of their team members in different capacities.
How did you come to work with Harvest Growth?
I met Jon at a marketing event in Tampa.
How much have you invested with them?
I’ve probably spent around $5,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started our engagement in March 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I really enjoy working with them. I love that I found a contractor that acts as if they’re in-house. Their response time is more than acceptable.
Every week, I get reports about how our campaign is doing. During the first week, our ROI was 2.13. The next week, it went to $3.20. Now, we’re getting around $5 back.
How did Harvest Growth perform from a project management standpoint?
Harvest Growth is excellent. They are leading the process. I never feel like they’re lagging behind.
What did you find most impressive about them?
This is the first company in this space that I’ve worked with. Compared to other contractors, they’ve meshed with my business values and aligned well with me. I’m not an expert in marketing, but when their team talks to me about it, I feel very knowledgeable. I don’t ever feel left behind; it’s almost like I’m getting a new skillset.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, they’re meeting my needs in a great way.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
As long as you understand your product or service, then Harvest Growth does the rest. They have different levels of packages. As a small business, we don’t have the luxury of having a big budget like multinational corporations. Jon recognizes that, which drew me toward him.
