Skill Stamp: AI platform to fill the knowledge and analytical skills gaps
This project is the one we are still working on. It's an Artificial Intelligence enabled platform within eLearning. One can practice there her analytical skills by doing multiple practical tasks instead of listening to the lectures. The course tasks and assignments are adaptable to the current level of a student, and advance as it goes up.
We are turning this idea into life.

TeqBot: HIPAA-compliant system for EHRs
Solution
The main goal was to create a system that can ensure paper to electronic records transition as fast as possible. Having a team of professional developers and communicating with several people running private clinics in the US, we’ve managed to build such a system that can do a transition of any size basically overnight.
All of us are men of habits, thus if you get used to something, it can be hard to learn how to do it differently. In our specific case, the doctors got used to writing the documents, progress notes, and reports by hand and, at first, just didn’t feel comfortable enough doing all that on computers. Trying to facilitate this for them, we’ve developed a module that allows scanning the paper document to display it on the tablet screen for further filling with the stylus.
Not only the doctors required some useful features. To save patients time, we’ve developed a system of web forms that the patient can submit being at home and only sign before an actual appointment. The main purpose of it is to avoid spending extra time on writing to be able to focus on the main thing – health.
HIPAA Compliance – the crucial factor that the system can’t function without. All the information and the documentation had to be stored and transmitted securely in the encrypted format.
Security and integrity of the workflow are highly important. Thus, we’ve gone even further and implemented a module that would lock the computer screen once it understands that the doctor has moved away from it.

CRM for Residential Real Estate Investment Company
The platform aims to enable collective investment into real estate objects in residential areas. The company engages in real estate developments on a selective basis in order to diversify and complement the existing portfolio. The solution creates additional value by developing housing projects at affordable prices. At the moment, the company’s portfolio has nearly 1k apartments. The business model involves real estate agents, insurance brokers and investment advisors, and investors, either individual or group. Agents can join and earn commissions. Investors can earn by investing smartly into the chosen objects, and receive commissions on future incomes.
Solution
An easy-to-use yet rich in features CRM system was built to cover all the processes and interactions between roles within the system. General and personal statistics, charts, PDF reports generation, electronic signing, inner communication tools like chats, and some more features were implemented in the system.
Our team has built a fully customized digital solution, uniquely tailored to the client’s needs. As the group of entrepreneurs has constantly communicating and exchanging ideas with real estate agencies, new requests were coming in during the process. The current products are 2.
The first one is a multi-role CRM system for agencies and super admins, that allows to sign up and log in to personal accounts, keep track of their deals and engagements, receive up-to-date statistics on the dashboards, create, sign and send over offers for investors, chat and send an email, both within and outside the system.
The second one is for individual and group investors, where users can also create and login to their personal accounts, choose properties to invest in, track their investments and revenues per given period, communicate with agencies and brokers, receive and sign contracts.

eCommerce Solution| Custom Parcer Admin Panel for Competitors Analysis
Web application and data scraper intend for monitoring your favorite product on several dozens of online shops to notify you once the price reaches its minimum.
The goal was to create a web application to compare product prices in multiple US shops and notify end users when prices go down. Here are some examples of the websites that the client was interested in: 6pm.com, amazon.com, bestbuy.com, ebay.com, homedepot.com, macys.com, microsoft.com/en-us/store/b/home, newegg.com, rakuten.com, walmart.com. And around 20-30 smaller ones.
Solution. A web app that combines digital shelf analytics, where to buy, content syndication, and support to help manufacturers improve the sales of their products.
- Daily monitoring of price, availability, search & category visibility across the retailers.
- Send clients directly to the retailer websites where they can purchase your products in a couple of clicks.
- Simple syndication of product content to retailer partners allowing self-serviced access to your assets.
A user loads the list of URLs into a CSV file. The system loads them into the database and links shops and products so that one product may be assigned to multiple shops. After that, the system scrapes product data: price, title, category, shipping cost, product availability.
In the backend, a user can schedule the parsing process and set up a timeout delay for every hour of work.
The system watches price changes and notifies a user when the price goes down.
Process:
- adding the cost for the shipment, considering the user’s location.
- checking the price against external coupons (added by a user before)
- re-calculating price for hidden discounts
When the price goes down to the amount previously set by a user, the product is added to a section for the most attractive deals and prices, where a user can monitor them.
Let us know if you require something like that, or take a look at the similar price monitoring solutions we’ve created.

HIPAA-compliant Integration Platform for Healthcare Organizations
A HIPAA-compliant platform that can be integrated with any healthcare management system, ensuring a seamless transition of paper documents to electronic records.
The sharp problem that many clinics have recently faced is a need to replace the entire paper document repository with electronic health records. Many clinics were outsourcing developers for that purpose, but not every team is capable of doing this job, specifically considering the fact that the developed systems have to be HIPAA compliant, which can become a pretty complex task for those who are not into medicine or don’t have sufficient experience with e-Health.
The client, who is a president of one of Beverly-Hills Density, was requiring a solution that ensures painless transition done in the shortest terms. This is how the TeqOffice system was born.
The main goal was to create a system that can ensure paper to electronic records transition as fast as possible. Having a team of professional developers and communicating with several people running private clinics in the US, we’ve managed to build such a system that can do a transition of any size basically overnight.

RETAIL| Shelf Monitoring System Development
An eCommerce Solution for Brand Manufacturers and Retailers
We built a platform where big manufacturers of FMCG products with a large number of SKUs can register.
ShelfMonitoring service.
Our parsers are constantly going around retail websites and gather information, including pricing, product description, analysis of product rankings in particular categories, and images (plus, compare them with etalon images).
A module that compares trends and changes.
Where to buy service. Widget-service. Our clients receive a widget, that provides a list of links where the products can be purchased. It is easy ready-to-go, and can be implemented to any website, and connecting Google Analytics - then, the analytics and dynamics are visualized in the admin system.
A separate website, where retailers representatives can visit and download etalon images, texts, and PDFs.

Automated Cryptocurrency Trading Bot Platform
Bot for automated trading on cryptocurrency stock exchanges.
We developed a web and mobile application for hassle-free trading cryptocurrencies.
The trading platform allows trading of Bitcoin and USDT. We used third-party signal alerts suppliers, who deliver statistical results based on a complex analysis of market trends. This information is spread through Telegram chats.
We implemented Telegram chats following through our platform.
The platform offers its users registration with a 7-days trial. After registration, there is a bot configuration period. A full functionality becomes available after unlocking a chosen pre-paid plan.
The platform executes automatic transactions based on users' priorities. Users can set their settings to optimize buying and selling operations.
The cycle of the product looks like that: reacting to signals -> create buying orders - > pick the right moment to sell.

FTS (full-text search) AI-based Solution: Document Analysis with the Question-Answering Based Engine
For more cases like this, visit our website:
https://groupbwt.com/case/pdf-extraction-sentiment-analysis/
Extracting unstructured data from PDF files for further sentiment analysis performed with a help of Natural Language Processing - NLP for short.
This project had a purpose to analyze a massive amount of economic documents in different formats, and create a system where you can search for the answers on a question-answer-based approach (just like you might ask Google).
The Challenge: according to the client's requirements, the whole system should be operating completely without the Internet, on a server, located on the client's office premises. Any analogs are not existing on the market.
Technology: we used a pre-trained neural network BERT, and offline Open-Source Neural Machine Translator, as the search could be performed either in English or German, regardless of the language of the searched fragment.
Solution: solution includes the admin panel where the user can log in, upload documents, and search for the required information through the search tool using elastic search. The neural network gets the answer and brings you to the part of the document that contains the answer. The system is constantly getting trained based on the documents uploaded.

Automated ERP System for a Helthcare Group Provider

https://groupbwt.com/case/erp-system-for-a-healthcare-organization/
A medium-sized Mental Health Organization located in Southern California, United States. CWR hired our team to help optimize business workflows. The main goal was to implement a central system integrated with various tools and solutions for better management of the company locations, clinical staff, and all other aspects of the business.
One important requirement was to implement such a system without changing any of the existing solutions utilized. First of all, because the company has been in business for a while and had close to one hundred employees working out of multiple locations, and retraining everyone while transitioning to an expensive ERP System for Healthcare would be costly and difficult. Besides, some of the systems they use are required under a contract by insurance companies that refer patients to CWR. Therefore custom-built integration is unavoidable in either case.
GroupBWT offered multiple free consultations, and that’s when we learned that the clients’ Board of Directors wanted to expand operations soon, but one of the major problems they had to address prior to expansion was the lack of a well-integrated system that can be used to manage all aspects of the business so that scalability of the enterprise can be achieved without the considerable overhead cost. Further, we offered solutions and estimates of cost reduction as well as investment amount needed to develop the ERP software streamline, optimize and automate many of the existing processes.
Due to many industry-specific regulations, our team had to guarantee the highest level of data integrity, accountability, and reliability of the system. Privacy laws (HIPAA & PCI Regulations) required a signed BA (Business Associate Agreement) that had to be prepared by our attorney and executed correctly under the law in the US.

Event Management: Custom Built Registration and Management Tool for Annual WHO Conference
For 3 years, we've been a trusted digital partner of the World Health Organization, by providing them with uniquely tailored conference management solution.
The challenge was to integrate all small nuances in one efficient system, that would allow the following: to register visitors, to approve or decline them based on many criteria, to manage premises and conference rooms occupancy, to view statistics, to predict the level of plenum for different premises, so the space can be used in the most efficient way, and to allow visitors to navigate through the complex during long 3-days agenda, and make their own schedule.
Our solution not only helped the organizers to avoid overlays, but also avoid crowding, and to see in real time how many people are inside or outside. On-time amendments and monitoring became possible and made the whole conference experience smooth and pleasing.
From the user side, were paying attention to make it user-friendly. The analogy of a flight ticket and boarding pass has been used to make the flow easy to follow and clear to the attendees. The QR codes have been emailed as attachments to the corresponding email messages.
If you need an event management tool with individual requirements, we are happy to create it for you for better on-site experiences.

We worked through the customer journey and designed over 80 screens, with the main goal to make it intuitive and efficient for the end-user. This mobile app is a perfect all-in-one easy to use platform for sending international money transfers with just a few taps, with a tracking option provided.

Competitors analysis: Web Parsing and Scraping Custom Built Tool
Our client's assortment and inventory processes were vastly improved, and led to increased profits of 47% over the following 4 months, with 85% accuracy in predicting the demand.
Our client is a major FMCG beauty and cosmetics retailer. Dealing with numerous SKUs predetermined risks relating to assortment planning, he found that some products were sold out before meeting demand, while others remained unsold for months. This was causing significant costs and affected his profits.
The company approached us looking for a data-driven solution to their stocking issues and eliminated assortment inconsistencies.
Custom scrapers for 3 different purposes were built to organize the data collection. By this, the client was able to receive information on the current inventory of the product, still available for in supply. By executing the same algorithms on a daily basis, we created a stable data pipeline. Additionally, we built an administration panel that could be turned into an interactive dashboard.
Our task was to organize competitors' data delivery based on the real-time market infrastructure, and this was achieved with great success.
As a result, our client now has a much better oversight in a highly competitive infrastructure and improved his financial indicators. He then reorganized the supply division by integrating our automated solution. A greater level of certainty and flexibility was seen after only 4 months.

Amazon and Walmart Scraping Project
We built an admin panel and three scrapers to extract and segment massive data from e-commerce giants Amazon and Walmart. Our client, one of the major US law firms, used this data to counter unfair competition and pricing strategies of retailers that violate competition practices. It helps to protect brands from erosion and a not adequate presentation on the market.
Walmart sub-project. We parsed sellers based on the given product list. We executed more than 1000 rounds and ended up extracting data for up to 4 million products from the website. Pagination repeated for over 1000 times per each provided keyword.
For the Amazon sub-project, we needed to scrape both product reviews and customer reviews. We synchronized with the external Azure SQL database and launched the sync. Browser sessions were emulated to waive the security measures. We streamlined the process allowing data scraping to be executed in 100 -150 streams simultaneously. It allowed us to collect 20 million customer reviews from Amazon within the duration of the project.
Working with us ensured our client received the stable flow of fresh, quality data on provided keywords, products, and suppliers.

Browser Game Dev & AWS for Gaming Company
"The quality of their work and communication is great."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a small company that runs an HTML browser game.
What challenge were you trying to address with GroupBWT?
I needed help creating the browser game.
What was the scope of their involvement?
GroupBWT did everything for us. They created the game, developed the backend where we can see all the users and payments, and developed the frontend. The team also manages our servers because everything runs on AWS. When we have a question about hosting, they help us.
What is the team composition?
In the beginning, we worked with three full-time developers as well as a project manager.
How did you come to work with GroupBWT?
I found them in 2014 on what was then oDesk and Elance, which are now Upwork. They created a website for me then. I reached out to them to see if they had experience developing browser games.
They said they hadn’t but they would take a look at it. A few weeks later, they analyzed all the other games we sent them and they said it would be possible.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $250,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with them in July 2016, and they’re still working on the project.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re very happy with the quality of service because even though GroupBWT had never worked on a browser game before, they’ve done well. The game is still running, and we’re pleased with the work.
How did GroupBWT perform from a project management standpoint?
We do regular Skype calls, and we also use Slack. For technical reports, we use Confluence and Jira. GroupBWT meets their deadlines every time. We have schedules and we can see what tasks are done each week, and we’re happy with the timing.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The quality of their work and communication is great. When we ask them something, they even respond during the weekend. When the game was broken, we contacted them at night and they got up and fixed the problem. We also like that they’re a young team, so they’re ambitious. It’s a good atmosphere.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, not that I can think of.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Tell them your ideas and competitors so they know what they need to do.

Custom Software Dev for Search Engine Company
"For them, every problem is solvable."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CTO of a software development company. We’re currently developing an AI-based, natural language processing (NLP) search engine. The system is used for knowledge management and other purposes.
What challenge were you trying to address with GroupBWT?
We needed to find the right people with the right tech stack, and it was difficult to do in our country. Our tech stack includes full-stack Python, MLP, and machine learning technologies. We couldn’t find suitable people for this job, so we started looking at companies from different countries.
What was the scope of their involvement?
GroupBWT is providing development based on the tasks I’ve created. They also consult with us on how to improve the software, and they handle DevOps tasks. They introduced me to various open-source tools and Python packages we could use.
I started with a task breakdown for the alpha version, which included the front- and backend scope, DevOps tasks, and timeframe. I specified what kind of database we needed, how it should be implemented in our cloud infrastructure, and in how much time. I created around 50 tasks in total, with varying degrees of detail.
What is the team composition?
We have a five-person team. We’ve worked with two full-stack developers from their team, who also performed DevOps tasks. We also have two frontend developers and one project manager from GroupBWT.
How did you come to work with GroupBWT?
We had Skype interviews with 5–6 different companies from Ukraine, India, Russia, Germany, and Spain. We whittled the list down to GroupBWT and one other company and went through the second round of interviews. We chose GroupBWT because they had suitable skillsets and an experienced team. We wanted to have at least one person that could work as a tech lead, and they had someone available that had expertise in all the tech stacks and could serve as lead, doing code reviews and so on. The other companies didn’t have this kind of experience. GroupBWT also gave us a professional cover letter detailing their past experience, and the language barrier was very small.
How much have you invested with them?
So far, we’ve invested $240,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with GroupBWT in January 2020, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’ve worked as a software engineer for seven years, so I know how much time is needed for specific tasks. Most of the work has been done on time or early.
The quality of GroupBWT’s engineers is on par with other vendors or better. They’re much faster in scripting, performing DevOps tasks, and solving problems. Most bugs have been resolved in one day, which is incredible. From my experience, we’d normally require a few days or weeks for just one bug.
How did GroupBWT perform from a project management standpoint?
We have daily standups to discuss the next steps, and we work in sprints. We’re using Slack, Zoom, and Google Hangouts for communication. Their English is excellent, and communication is easy.
We’ve gotten a lot of interesting ideas from their project manager. We’ve had some off time due to holidays and COVID-19, but the manager ensured that the team stayed on task using Jira.
I flew to Ukraine to visit their company in March 2020. They were very friendly, and they picked me up from the airport and picked me up from the hotel every morning to take me to their office. I was there for one week to work together with them, and I had my own space. That was a very productive week, with lots of brainstorming meetings and new ideas. It was an impressive experience.
What did you find most impressive about them?
For them, every problem is solvable, and they have a nice workflow that’s focused on reducing downtime. Aside from their core team, there were other people who got involved and helped us improve the project. One of their founders put some free work into this project, just because he liked it very much and was interested in it.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Their standards are higher than mine, so it’s very hard to think of something.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Clients should be open with the team and consult with them about everything they have in mind. GroupBWT’s team should be treated like coworkers and not like external suppliers.

Full Service Dev for Job Platform
“From solution design to implementation, they're very capable across the board.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CTO of a unified job platform that works with educators, job seekers, and employers to improve graduate outcomes.
What challenge were you trying to address with GroupBWT?
They were our principal developer for our platform.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They’ve done quite a lot. They’ve managed everything from project management, product management, product design, too all front- and backend development. They've done a database design. They've done all of system architecture as well. So that put on the listing configuration. So they’re really a full-service organization for the development of all platform.
How did you come to work with GroupBWT?
I worked with them under my previous employer. Then they really gave a very comprehensive initial proposal when we first started developing the platform, which was a good blend of value and kind of technical proficiency.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $700,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in October 2017 and the relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
GroupBWT has always been very consistent and their work is generally error-free. They have a very good ability to suggest solutions to problems that might not have considered.
From solution design to implementation, they're very capable across the board. That's just underpinned by really great value as well.
How did GroupBWT perform from a project management standpoint?
Working with them has never been a problem. They’re an offshore company, but they communicate effectively in English. They’re timely and are as good as any other provider I’ve worked with. In terms of methods of communication, anything is available that we wanted to do— phone calls, video conferences, whatever.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Probably the breadth of their capabilities. We’ve worked with some pretty niche technologies that I think few technology providers would be skilled with. They were able to bring their breadth of talent together with several difficult solutions to create one well-coordinated and coherent experience.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Overall, they’ve been great. There was some miscommunication about billing, but once we had a conversation about it, it was resolved.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions. They’re very amenable to helping you understand.

For what projects/services did your company hire GroupBWT?
I engaged with GroupBWT to build the mobile app, widget, and dashboard for my business.
What were your goals for this project?
The goal was to create a minimum viable product that I could implement with partnering businesses to prove the business case and increase future investments.
How did you select this vendor?
A friend recommended GroupBWT. After an introduction email and a series of conference calls, I was confident in their professionalism and their fit for this project.
Describe the project in detail.
The GroupBWT team provided a wireframe and an early design, which brought the project to life. Once I approved, we moved to the development stage, and I was able to use a test version a month later. After another month of improving the app, the widget and dashboard came along in short order.
What was the team composition?
I worked with two account managers.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The app is now in the App Store and the Google Play store as a beta test. I am impressed with the quality of the MVP. It is fully functional and has no bugs.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We had regular phone calls and almost daily online communication, which kept the project on track. We used a project management tool to track our conversations. The account managers were bilingual, which was helpful when including the development team in conversations.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was appreciative of their problem-solving and can-do attitude. They were quickly able to find options to achieve my requirements. They understood that my success was their success.
Are there any areas for improvement?
GroupBWT delivered all assets in a reasonable amount of time, but having more defined deadlines would have been helpful. There were also occasions when some technical bugs were found during my review, but they addressed those quickly. Still, I’d suggest improved attention to detail.

They build, manage, and maintain the software arm of our business. They are responsible for all technical development, and their leadership team is heavily involved in project planning.
What was the team composition?
The number of developers scales up and down as required.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
GroupBWT is instrumental to our business. They aren't a third party; they are highly integrated with us. We trust them to deliver everything, and they do an exceptional job.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
We use GroupBWT's collaborative project management tool. It works well and incorporates time management, so we know how much time developers spend on each task. I'm active on the tool, so we deal with questions efficiently and effectively.
Everyone is clear on expected output, including all features and functionalities. Once scoped, the project managers handle the development team and bring our idea to life. The team is constructive, alerting me when something isn't clear or needs to be explained. Our collaboration is effective because we commit to projects. The better our visualization of needs, the better our output.
The language barrier isn't an issue. Their project managers speak better English than me and translate every conversation in full. The team generally understands English as well. When we need to be pragmatic, Google Translate works great.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
GroupBWT attracts talented developers and provides an environment that mimics industry leaders. They reward hard work, nurture talent, and respect the importance of work-life balance. This has led to a close "family" of developers and a nonexistent turnover in the year I've worked with them.
Are there any areas where they can improve?
GroupBWT is growing fast for obvious reasons. Recently the pace of my project has slowed and I've had to ensure that they deal with my tasks. Those are growing pains, however, so it's not a big problem.
