Following the documentation process, we discussed possible real-world scenarios and the best methods to handle them to optimize our app’s potential. Graffersid built the wireframe then created a working prototype to guerilla test with our users. Their team used that feedback to improve the platform’s UX/UI elements and performance. Then, they expertly designed the final product using Figma and MarvelApp. They also helped us develop a launch strategy to highlight our unique features in the market.

What challenge were you trying to address with Graffersid?

There is a lot of competition in our area, and we didn’t have an online presence. We were looking for some breakthrough marketing ideas for tapping into our potential client base.

I had worked with another marketing agency before Graffersid, but I wasn’t happy with them. There are a lot of companies that provide the same services as us, and the team we were using wasn’t providing any unique ideas. We were competing with giants that had immense presences in our area and across India.

What was the scope of their involvement?

When I approached Graffersid, they came up with some good marketing ideas with regard to improving our digital presence, including an online tool for managing our order deliveries. The software tracks the status of the order and provides information on the driver and their location when the order is on its way. Their team is also managing all our email marketing and online profiles, including Instagram.

I’m in contact with three or four people from their team, including a marketing expert and a developer. It’s easy to reach Sidharth (CEO, Graffersid) directly when I need to. He is available 24/7.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Graffersid in October 2017, and the collaboration is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t tracked specific metrics closely, but our online presence was practically nonexistent initially. After working with Graffersid for three or four months, 30% of our sales started coming from the online space. This is an unbelievable result for us, and I hope we can maintain the same pace.

We also provide home delivery, and cover 80% of the Pune, India area—an almost 30-kilometer radius. Previously, we were only using the phone for taking orders, but Graffersid setup a wonderful online delivery system for us.

How did Graffersid perform from a project management standpoint?

There were a few snags in the beginning while explaining how our business worked, but they eventually came around to perform brilliantly. I never had to explain things more than once. We mainly communicate through email and WhatsApp with occasional phone calls as well.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m overall happy with their performance. Some items took longer to explain, but they have a straightforward approach. Over the first three or four months, we’ve seen a significant increase in sales. We’re hoping this trend will continue.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. They’re good the way they are.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

If the client is looking for different ideas, Graffersid is a good choice. I was initially concerned about working with such a young team, but I’ve been very happy.

The features Graffersid suggested really helped us in the launch. In two months, we had 2,500-plus app downloads without any investment in user acquisition. Our users could very easily refer other users to bring their friends and family on board.

It felt like an autopilot mode. Although their process can feel a bit longer since they do a lot of research when compared with other IT companies, it's a good experience overall. We had a much better understanding of the market in technical terms after working with them.

They really took ownership of both the process and the product. They would take the initiative and come up with suggestions. They were not shy to disagree with us on certain features, but they always backed it with strong reasoning.
