They were able to produce both back end and front end applications to effectively achieve the results I needed to track 15 data analytics parameters relevant to the outdoor advertising industry. Facial recognition technology was used to temporarily analyze age, gender and level of appreciation . This information is then collated on our generic activity sheet generated on our front end application with both my company and client’s contact information. Our company logo and colours was also requested to be used on the activity sheet

The completion of our software means we are now the first Caribbean outdoor advertising business to offer data analytics results for campaigns. It also puts us in a position to sell this valuable service to all industry players in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean market.

Hemen went above and beyond expectations to see this project through. He was very patient to took the time to truly understand what it was that we needed to ensure he captured all relevant information. He was very communicative throughout the projects entirety and managed his time efficiently to produce results on schedule.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Managing clients across the continent can never be easy and they were able to produce results efficiently and effectively. I was even more impressed with Hemen’s willingness and commitment to learn no coding applications to facilitate the success of this project and did so without questioning abilities.

We have a couple fine tune edits to do but I’m more than steadied with the results produced.

What challenge were you trying to address with F(x) Data Labs Pvt Ltd?

We wanted to combine aspects of our legacy systems into one new ERP system and incorporate new technology specifically in the area of AR and machine learning.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We considered all the parts of an ERP system, including finance, CRM, supply chain, and marketing and sales. They tracked members of our team who showed them the pain points and what our legacy system does and what we wanted to retain and not retain in the new system.

The first two phases are over. Since we’re happy with the work they’ve done, we continue to give them more requirements. We are considering using them for phase three of the implementation.

We’ve been live for 3–4 months. We’re satisfied with the first two phases and the outcome. With the machine learning algorithm that they implemented, our sales team’s production has increased because now they’re focusing more on customers or potential customers. That’s been a big plus.

Also, under our previous ERP system, the management information systems were cumbersome. Now, we have more flexibility. My finance and accounts people enjoy the flexibility in the kind of reporting that they can generate using the new ERP. We notice an increase in activity and conversions. It’s far more user-friendly.

Their AI/ML Dev team helped in ML programming of a result oriented solution where the scope was to automate the correct and wrong results of a solution which was formed as a combination of various parameters.

This was done manually till now by a team of data scientists which took a lot of their manual efforts and by this algo , the aim was to achieve an automated solution where only inserting the input parameters would provide the accuracy of the solution.
