BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there. I'm the founder of an SEO company. We offer multiple services, including website optimization, on-page and off-page SEO, and backlinking.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Funel? We needed them to get us new clients.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement? After our initial call with Funel, we sent them all the information about our company. Then, they started creating and launching email and cold-calling campaigns to get us leads. Additionally, they helped us with the sales closures, as their sales team took care of the final sales process.
Funel's team didn't manage asset creation. We provided them with all the materials, and their job was to get us leads. At the end of the day, our main concern was increasing our sales, so that's what they focused on.
What is the team composition? I don't remember how many teammates from Funel were involved in the project. I was mainly in touch with their salesperson. How did you come to work with Funel? They reached out to us personally and told us that they could get us lead appointments. How much have you invested with them? I spent around $12,500.
What is the status of this engagement? We worked together from February 2023–November 2023. I had to stop the sales process, so it wasn't anything to do with them.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? Funel was able to get us a good number of qualified leads and close various sales. I initially expected to get a couple of new clients, but Funel achieved more than that, getting us five new clients within the first two months. After that, they get us 7–8 new clients. Although I don't know the total number of new clients we got, it was a very good number. Overall, the quality of their work was good.
How did the company perform from a project management standpoint? We didn't establish deadlines for this project, so there was no timeline adherence required. As for the budget, they established a monthly fee for their services, and that fee never changed. We mainly communicated via WhatsApp, but we also created a shared Slack channel.
What did you find most impressive about them? Achieving more sales was my ultimate goal, and Funel did it, which was impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve? For the first few months, the number of leads was less than the rest of the engagement. If Funel had assigned more resources to the project, maybe our results could have been greater. Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs? Go to their website, talk to them, and see if they're the right fit for your needs. They mainly focus on B2B services, and I highly recommend them.
