Technofox helped us end-to-end, from searching for the domain name to designing the UX/UI. They also built out the site’s backend components and gave us proper training on the platform. 

Initially, we had an idea of what we wanted the website to look like, and we wanted it to offer a smooth user experience. Technofox created several design iterations for us until we got to one that was practically and aesthetically what we were looking for. Then, they put together the overall look of the site.

We had multiple points of contact who got on the phone or on Skype with us periodically. The team composition actually fluctuated between the design and development phases.

We started working with Technofox in February 2018 and our collaboration is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The platform isn’t live yet, so we don’t have tangible statistics. Internally, our team is very pleased with Technofox’s level of cooperation. 

How did Technofox Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve performed well. Gaurav (Chief Business Architect, Technofox Solution) was our key account manager and oversaw the flow of the comments from our side. We rarely had to repeat a request or issue one for something that was requested before. They’re good listeners and they were able to work with us despite the four-hour time difference. They’re punctual, on top of things, attentive, and they think of solutions outside the box whenever a ready solution isn’t there.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were good with answering questions and implemented our suggestions. They were as available as we requested them to be, and they gave us frequent updates.

 Are there any areas they could improve?

They could use a bigger team when it comes to other aspects of the project so they can deliver a full-on turnkey solution.

 Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I would advise potential customers to be patient, especially in the first few meetings. It was challenging to get across our language barrier, but manageable since it was all technical terms. If clients give it some time, they’ll find that Technofox is filled with very good people to work with.

What challenge were you trying to address with Technofox Solution?

We needed a company to develop our food delivery app and a small website to help us manage our branches. Our goal was to get more customers.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Technofox Solution developed our application and staff management tool. The app showcases all the dishes we serve at our different restaurants. People can purchase from our franchise by connecting with us through the app or calling the number it lists. If we have a location in your city, you can place a home delivery order on mobile. Customers can even order meals after a hotel is closed.

Features include chat, coupons, notifications, and payment system with e-commerce functionality. GPS functionality lets users tracks orders on a map. If needed, users can call the delivery courier.  When we’re offering a discount like 20% or 30% off, it sends notifications with promotional links.

We didn’t provide clear instructions at the start, which created problems for both of us and made it hard to understand each other. At first, they struggled to meet our expectations, but we had great communication once we got in sync. They took the time to understand our specific technical needs and then developed the designs exactly how we wanted. 

Once our site is live, Technofox Solution will manage our hosting services. We will continue to have an ongoing working relationship at that point, but we’re currently on hold.

The first person I met was a technical expert they assigned to help us understand the process.  He was our single point of contact, but they are a good-sized team.

We started working together in December 2018 and have an ongoing collaboration. I originally wanted to be done by February 2019, but we’re aiming to finish by October 2019 at this point.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I was very impressed by Technofox Solution. They delivered a fully functional app with a UI that’s easy to use. We’ve seen very few software bugs.

At this point, we’ve only launched it locally for our most popular restaurant. We’ve tried out on a lot of users, and everyone has given us great feedback about how easy it is to understand. 

Technofox Solution helped me understand what our users experience when they open and engage with our app. We plan to launch it to the Google Play Store soon.

How did Technofox Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management went well after we resolved my concerns at the start of the project. Progress was a bit slow, but I blame myself for that because I didn’t explain our concept in detail. Once they understood what we needed, they kept the project running smoothly. 

The team is friendly, eager, and passionate about their work. They were always coming up with new ideas, and many turned out to be quite helpful for us. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Technofox Solution is excellent at communication. I appreciated that they never charged us extra for small changes. They always considered how to make everything better for the client.

Are there any areas they could improve?

When they first approach a client, I think they should send 2-3 people from their team to meet them.  Other than that, they’ve been much better than other companies.

Technofox Solution is genuinely passionate about their work. They always do their best to help the client and make things even better. They create an open and free-thinking environment to innovate. The team is very friendly, communicative, and genuinely great to work with.

They're always available even though they're in a different time zone than me. They work later hours than me, and I can always reach them. At whatever time I ask for something, they reply quickly. If it’s important, they make time for it.

They’ve grown and are now busier, which means things sometimes take longer than they used to. They could be better at communicating the total timeline of the project so we know what to expect.

I hired them to design and develop flutter application for my business.

I found them on Google. They have developed the similar kind of product before which made me trust them for the design and development of the project.

We initially went through the discovery phase and prepared some rough wireframes that could help us to design the app as well as to decide the features for the application. The subscription model is a big feature in itself so we started with rough sketch and wrote few brief about the process of the application. Fluttertop assessed what we already had and they initiate their process and helped to define the features. With the help of their professional researchers we were able conclude the scope for design and development phase. After completing the project documentation, the team started working on the flow chart, they followed their process of wireframing, creating web and admin mockups. When prototype was ready, I went through it with my team. I was pretty much satisfied with the quality of work they provided. After the confirmation they initiated the development process. They used Node.js as the programming language for backend and flutter for the app The main features of the application were products with categories, checkout with multiple payment gateways, wallet functionality, google maps integration, order process, cancel and refund process etc. Additionally, it includes an administration panel.

We started working with four people from Fluttertop, but we’ve seen more people working in the background throughout the project. Their current team includes three developers, a business analyst, and a project manager. Overall, we’ve worked with 10–12 people from Fluttertop.

Developing this application was the turnout point of my business. After the launch I gained 120+ customers in 1st week and they were very happy with the easy flow of the application.

We had a basic website for our services which does not include selling. To be in competition with other companies and their websites we decided to build an online platform that can give tough competition to every other website.

What were your goals for this project?

My main goal for the project was to provide buying and selling services to the user without any hassle and to compete with other competitors.

How did you select Technofox Solution?

I went through various freelance websites to find one who can understand the realities of the project. I was interviewing 10+ freelancers every day and one day I met Technofox’s BDE Gaurav Rai. He placed an impressive understanding of seeking all my needs in the mind. It’s hard to believe but I chose them amongst the 100 others.

It’s an online buying and selling website developed on Laravel. I don’t know much about the technologies, but they showed their hard work on front-end HTML and back-end on Laravel.

There are lots of small features that include, User Management, Stock Management, Support Management, Products (Category Management), etc. The project includes lots of API integration was the main part of the project. They integrated lots of price comparison API’s and royal mail API. Please bear with my technological words!!

What was the team composition?

The team was highly qualified. It consists of total of 5 members, 1 back-end developer, 1 front-end developer, 1 designer, 2 testers. They completed the platform at the given time.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The metric of success is how well the team understands and interprets the user stories. They use project management software very well, meaning they adhere to the way the software works.

This is important because, when you are coordinating remotely, it’s not always possible to say everything that you mean to do in just the call. You need to have another direct way of coordinating the development.

If you use a tool and everybody uses it the way it’s meant to be used, then we can work together very well. The Technofox team adheres to the software and they review it carefully. It’s easy to collaborate with them.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Time zone differences didn’t affect the flow of the working between the teams. They worked tirelessly day and night. They didn’t care about the weekend. They worked hard for the development. I never felt that they are not focused; they delivered it successfully (the way I wanted.)

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The way they approached new ideas for the development and the flawless code quality and support they delivered.

It’s not the first time, I am writing a review but you guys, believe me, they don’t need any improvements. They are the best.
