When I started this project, I was in the process of starting an online store where you can buy framed and enlarged versions of photos that you upload to our site.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They built the site form the ground up, which included all of the functionalities needed for individual users to be able to create accounts, upload and edit images, and select and pay for the product that they wanted it layered on. Once the website was completed, they also translated those same features into iOS and Android as well.

My main point of contact was Rishabh (Business Development Analyst), who coordinated and funneled all of my communication to the team that was working behind the scenes.

We are completely satisfied with the quality of all the work that they have delivered to us. Everything has performed extremely well, and when we did catch anything, they did a great job of getting on top of it and fixing it before it caused any problems.

Because that portion of the project went well and was so easy to manage, we have decided to continue onto a second phase of the project with them as well.

They did an excellent job managing deadlines and all of our communication with them. Oftentimes my partner and I wouldn’t even agree on how to proceed with a specific feature, and he was able to bring us to a point of agreement each time so that we were able to move forward with the project.

On top of that, he was always able to come up with suggestions in areas where he thought we could provide even more functionality or could set ourselves up well for other parts of the site with a specific technology.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The level of consistent and clear communication that we received from Rishabh on a regular basis was by far the highlight of the project. He has the technical skills needed to do his job well, but he also has the people skills necessary to make sure you have a good experience working with him.

I really don’t think there’s anything in particular that they could do that would have improved the engagement.

They are absolutely amazing at communication, so if you have any issues that you need help dealing with, just talk to them and they will be able to find a solution for you.

I’m a manager for a portal providing recipes and weight loss information to users. It’s present in 2–3 countries, but we’ll be launching it in other markets as well.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Technofox Solution designed and developed our web portal using React. We had an existing portal, but it was old and we wanted to redo it using the latest technologies. The previous version was desktop-only, while the new one can be used on mobile as well. We haven’t developed mobile apps for it yet, but we’re planning to.

The portal provides calorie information for different recipes and shows users what they should eat for lunch if they want to lose a certain amount of weight. There are user registration capabilities.

I don’t know how many people were assigned to the project but I was in regular communication with three people, including Rishabh (Technical Business Analyst, Technofox Solution). I also interacted with the development and UI teams.

We started working with Technofox in September 2018, and the project was completed in January 2019. We’re continuing to work with them on maintenance and enhancements, and we’re also planning to start the application part.

The project went smoothly, and Technofox was available at any time, including late at night or early in the morning. They responded promptly whenever I called them, they were kind, and they provided us services end to end. We had a delay completing the project, but they were prompt and honest in telling us if they were going to be unavailable.

I was pretty satisfied in this sense. They handled everything for us. We usually had Skype calls for updates, and we used email as well.

They almost always stuck to the timeline and the budget. Although there were a few delays, their service was great. They communicated well—we typically used Skype or phone calls.

They delivered the exact look for my website that I wanted and it’s user-friendly. I’ll definitely refer them and approach them for other projects.

Managing the team more efficiently could be helpful. It would help them meet deadlines and use their efforts better in that area. Other than that, they delivered the work well and I don’t have many complaints.

The work they did for us makes our process very easy. Before, I had to do everything step-by-step, but the add-on lets me click a button and makes all the changes for me. The solution they provided saves me a lot of time. They were very reliable. There were a few small bugs, but they worked out all the issues quickly.

They were very helpful and responsive. Their communication over the phone and through FaceTime was very good, and we occasionally met face to face. They were very helpful with the budget and always delivered on time.

Their team is very good, and there was never any confusion.

I can't think of anything they should improve. They were brilliant throughout this project.

I needed technical support in terms of development and marketing for my business.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed web and mobile solutions for me. They are now taking care of the marketing for my business in terms of SEO and social media optimization.

I let them know what I was looking for. I described my vision, which they understood and came up with a solution. It is essentially an e-commerce site where customers can place an order. They proposed a few technologies and informed me of the pros and cons of each technology as well as the security level and how we could maintain the speed of the website. They also built native Android and iOS apps.

There were eight or nine people dedicated to the project.

I conducted an online search. I was in contact with two or three companies and I had invited each of them to deliver a proposal. Technofox came up with a proposal and we met several times in their office to go over things. They did excellent work on the frontend and I really like it. They’ve taken care of minor modifications and overall, the entire development has been good. The backend is functional as well.

How did Technofox Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

They were always in touch and informed me of anything. Communication has been good, but they really took their time initially and they did not meet the deadline.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They do not hesitate to reach out with a solution. They are good at building logic and their design was very good. They are good at the marketing aspect as well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There were some challenges with the timeline. They were delayed and I faced some losses because of that, which in turn has impacted me for the initial launch. In today’s world, we need an app and a website if we don’t have a physical restaurant.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Ask Technofox about every aspect of the development and be clear on the timelines. They told me the delay was due to research and development, but that is not my concern. Ask them to do all the research in the first place and document everything and then start the development.

I'm the co-founder of a startup for an app that connects people to do activities. For example, if you want to play table tennis, you can go into the app and click the table tennis activity. Then, the app connects you with users who want to join you.

We did our own UX design and had pictures and wireframes of how we wanted the app to look and function. We needed a partner to implement the changes.

We gave Technofox Solution our designs and wireframes, and they reviewed the feasibility of the different functions. We iterated on the project scope until we came up with a plan and budget, then they began the frontend and backend development.

The mobile app is a cross-platform app for both iOS and Android, and Technofox Solution also worked on the web app. They used PHP, HTML5, Bootstrap CSS, and PhoneGap. They integrated the mobile and web apps with the Google Maps API, but it’s more profound on the mobile apps. They’re currently working on a new version of the app.

There was an existing platform, an invoice refactoring system, in Switzerland that we were considering adopting into another market in South Africa. We wanted advice on the type of software and backend programming required for our platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I approached Gaurav (Business Development Head, Technofox) and told him about our business idea and platform concept. We talked about the scope and the potential cost. After brainstorming, we defined multiple milestones regarding the project requirements. He then explained those requirements to his colleagues. 

We outlined our desired platform step-by-step, and he told us what types of technical solutions and services we needed, providing us with a detailed plan and framework. 

They performed integrations with cloud services such as AWS. They also addressed security concerns, had daily backup system checks, and performed server hosting. Technologies used include PHP on the backend and Java on the frontend.

The team consisted of about 13 people, including project managers, software developers, senior managers, and junior employees. Most of the team roles were senior positions.

I asked a freelancer on Freelancer.com to find a suitable company for my project. The freelancer provided three options, and I was most impressed by Technofox. What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Throughout the timeline, Technofox Solution took the project very seriously and provided high quality work. However, we decided not to proceed with the project after receiving the proposal due to a fraud associated with the Switzerland platform. Investors lost money in the Switzerland platform, so we felt it the market in South Africa wouldn’t trust the product. 

How did Technofox Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

It was pleasant to work with them because they were flexible, yet also met deadlines. They were responsive and always set up meetings to discuss complex issues. 

We had streamlined communication, and that was very efficient. My main contact point was diligent in trying to understand what my business required. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They came up with practical, well-thought-out solutions. Technofox Solution was excellent at thinking outside of the box when solving problems. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Our method of payment took longer to finalize than we would have liked. They could have a more efficient process in place regarding the exchange rate between different currencies. 

They could also improve the English on their proposals so it doesn’t contain grammatical errors. This would make their work appear more professional.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would recommend Technofox to other clients for IT projects. Clients need to explain their requirements very clearly, and they will likely receive a quality solution in return.
