Elogic Commerce helped design and develop the website using Magento 1. We’re currently in the process of migrating it to Magento 2. In addition, they also handled the infrastructure with AWS and managed the designs.

We worked with them on this project in 2017, and it took six months.

Their combination of technical expertise and communication skills were valuable. They are wizards in developing Magento platforms. Their skill set made the project successful for us.

It’d be helpful if they had a 24/7 support department, but we understand it is complicated to have that.

I’d recommend future clients have a workshop during the discovery phase to get more insight. Their expertise was very valuable.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since we began our engagement, we've rapidly increased the Google page speed scores. The revenue from our site has almost tripled since eLogic Commerce started working on it. 

They've improved everything about it in general, especially the usability. We haven't seen any warning signs that anything has gone wrong at all.

From a project management standpoint, eLogic Commerce has had an amazing performance. I would give them full marks in this area.

Production times are much faster because of the optimization, not only on our website but also in our warehouse. Our sales are growing because everything works better and faster.

From a communication standpoint, they have been perfect. We primarily communicate via Redmine, a task manager. My company is pleased with Elogic Commerce's responsiveness and documentation.

Also, it’s very helpful that Elogic Commerce will outsource development support if they don’t have the in-house talent, as this means they can handle all of our software needs.

We wanted to expand our business online with an e-commerce website. Because we target a niche market, we wanted a solution to help customers see how our sockets fit into their interior. We engaged Elogic Commerce to build a Magento platform for our business.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We set up a call with Elogic Commerce to describe our business challenge and requirements and to see how they would approach the project. Elogic Commerce supplied us with a brief of the design. Their design team then created mockups and sketches of the design. After that, we defined the technical scope.

Elogic Commerce first built a visual configuration tool; it allows customers to upload a photo of a room and see how one of our sockets fits into their interior. The feature needed to be fast and user-friendly, which required extra care from their developer team. Elogic Commerce also linked our CRM platform—which contains all of our products’ prices—to a European price conversion system. That way we could easily adjust our prices depending on our customers’ locations and the latest currency values. Lastly, they developed a filter module to sort through our products easily on our web store.

The project is still in progress, and everything has been going really well so far.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launch we have seen an increase in both order volume and order value, as well as getting a website/platform that is much easier to manage for our employees and better integrated with other internal systems than the previous solution.

We had weekly follow up meetings, daily communication in Slack and used ActiveCollab for task management. We also have had dedicated process meetings for planning, discovery and demo.

Fantastic response rate, very dedicated, great communication skills and they were very eager to understand our unique project.

We, the vendor and us, could have been a bit better at prioritization. At times it was slightly unclear which aspects should be getting the most focus.
