We wanted to expand our business online with an e-commerce website. Because we target a niche market, we wanted a solution to help customers see how our sockets fit into their interior. We engaged Elogic Commerce to build a Magento platform for our business.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We set up a call with Elogic Commerce to describe our business challenge and requirements and to see how they would approach the project. Elogic Commerce supplied us with a brief of the design. Their design team then created mockups and sketches of the design. After that, we defined the technical scope.
Elogic Commerce first built a visual configuration tool; it allows customers to upload a photo of a room and see how one of our sockets fits into their interior. The feature needed to be fast and user-friendly, which required extra care from their developer team. Elogic Commerce also linked our CRM platform—which contains all of our products’ prices—to a European price conversion system. That way we could easily adjust our prices depending on our customers’ locations and the latest currency values. Lastly, they developed a filter module to sort through our products easily on our web store.

We worked with a project manager, two backend developers, two frontend developers, and a QC engineer.

We worked with Elogic Commerce to build a Shopify store from scratch for our client. The goal was to create a functional and easy-to-use online store that looked good, worked smoothly, and met the client’s business needs.
Elogic handled everything from setting up the store to customizing the design so it matched the client’s brand. They structured the product catalog, making it easy to navigate with clear categories and filters. They also integrated review systems like Yotpo so customers could leave feedback and helped set up advanced search functionality using Klevu to make finding products easier. Throughout the project, they focused on optimizing performance, making sure the store loaded quickly and worked well on both desktop and mobile.

Elogic Commerce started by taking a deep dive into our website to figure out where we could improve performance. We kicked things off with a few meetings to discuss our goals and make sure we were all on the same page. After that, they got to work auditing our site, looking at things like load times, mobile responsiveness, and overall performance.
Once they had a clear picture, they went ahead with various optimizations. This included refining the code, compressing images, and enhancing the server to speed things up. They paid special attention to the mobile experience, making sure our site was fully responsive and user-friendly on any device.
They didn't stop there -Elogic Commerce ran thorough tests to ensure everything worked smoothly across different platforms and browsers. After all the testing, we reviewed the changes together, and they rolled out the final, optimized version of our site.
The results were exactly what we needed: a much faster website, improved mobile interfaces, and consistent performance across the board. Throughout the project, we had regular meetings and updates to stay aligned, and their quick responses to any issues kept everything on track.

After launch we have seen an increase in both order volume and order value, as well as getting a website/platform that is much easier to manage for our employees and better integrated with other internal systems than the previous solution.

We had weekly follow up meetings, daily communication in Slack and used ActiveCollab for task management. We also have had dedicated process meetings for planning, discovery and demo.

Fantastic response rate, very dedicated, great communication skills and they were very eager to understand our unique project.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
We, the vendor and us, could have been a bit better at prioritization. At times it was slightly unclear which aspects should be getting the most focus.
