We had a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals and objectives. We were provided wireframes and designs to work with. The milestones were delivered in a timely manner.

The project manager was easy to communicate with , he provided frequent updates. We had zoom meetings and phone calls, communicated by email . We were given a timeline for each milestone.

Their mobile app skills are excellent. They are well versed in creating UX and execution if the platform. Since this is our first mobile app project they were patient and willing to walk us through the process.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Status reports on each stage of the project in detail would have been helpful to limit any potential issues.

We deliver end-to-end healthcare IT solutions, including solutions for enrollment and subscription to healthcare insurance products, billing, and revenue cycle management, offering our service to pharmacies, health insurance companies, and hospitals.

We wanted to build a professional healthcare mobile solution to help us boost our revenue. We found it hard to find a company with expertise in the healthcare space while being highly skilled in technology, so we needed a partner who already had this kind of solution in mind.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DreamSoft4u developed a mobile app for us. It is a healthcare platform that connects all kinds of healthcare professionals in a single space.

Initially, we wanted to reach numbers that seemed impossible without the current technology, so they first helped us develop a proof of concept (POC) so that we could see if our project was technologically feasible and financially viable. To develop that POC, we provided them with a business requirement document.

After having the POC, we asked DreamSoft4u to design and develop the app’s UI. Once they produced it, we finalized the solution.

We work with a project manager, a business analyst, a team of four developers, a tester, a designer, and a healthcare space expert.

Within the first six months of launching the mobile app, we increased our user base by 10 times.

We follow an agile approach, and we set milestones to ensure that the delivery is done on time and under budget. We’ve also had meetings to go through our continuous business requirements. Based on those meetings, DreamSoft4u prioritizes what needs to be done at which milestone.

We communicate through email, Slack, and a project management tool, and we document everything. Initially, we had a communication hurdle, but it was reduced by using a communication tool between their offshore team and our onsite team.

DreamSoft4u has a good work culture and provides us with timely deliverables, so we’re very satisfied. Their software development cycle has been very fast.

Initially, we had challenges due to our time difference, but we solve them.

We had a zoom call intially and then later we had detail discussion on our requirements and then we researched on there market presence. Final round was a 2-3 hours of interview process to understand their technical understanding.

It is completely an automated process on a single click we want everything from reports to billing of a patient inside hospital .

What was the scope of their involvement?

I asked them to do two projects. The first project required them to build an Android and iOS app. We refined the app through consistent feedback. The app would enable doctors to collaborate with other medical staff. That way, they could share radiology scans and other medical-related matters digitally.

I also provided design mockups for another mobile app, to digitize and simplify the billing process for doctors. The app would take information entered by doctors and automatically transcribe it to the billing department.

I worked with four people, including a business analyst and engineers.

I found them on Upwork, and I chose them because of their experience in healthcare. We also engaged with them because they would build an app that could be tweaked to meet our needs.

We began working together in October 2019, but the project didn't get completed.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The project was supposed to last for three months, but by the middle of 2020, it wasn't completed. Despite being extremely frustrated, they didn't finish the project. On top of that, they were unable to support any of the desired changes we wanted to integrate into the app.

DreamSoft4u Healthcare IT Solution made excuses for every issue we pointed out, and they were defensive when I insisted on certain things. They made everything about money.

For example, I insisted they show me the iOS app so I could see what it would look like on an iPhone. Two months later, they didn't show anything. They claimed I had jumped a phase and had to pay them for it. Then, they claimed to have an API that could extract documents. However, it didn't work even for one day. Overall, they misrepresented themselves and their abilities.

One of the engineers was knowledgeable and responsive. The rest of the people I worked with were not; they were rather dismissive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They seemed eager to learn and listen. However, they didn't do anything with what they heard from us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The people I worked with seemed unknowledgeable. They made mistakes I wouldn’t make considering I wasn't a professional developer. They also had QA issues.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Test everything frequently, and don't wait until the end to do that. Make sure that they'll fix the issues that you find; don't trust that they'll do it just because they say so.
